The Origin:

The Meowmere is a weapon that was created by the Terraria team, created/inspired by a meme called Nyan Cat, which appears in other games through crossovers.

In Terraria:

How to get it:

To acquire it, first get the Ancient Doll , which can be found in Artifact Points, Fishing Treasure Chests, Artifact Treasures, given by a dog with maximum friendship level or purchased at the Festival from the Desert with Jas for 1 Calico Egg.

The chances of finding it in artifact spots are 3% for those in the Mountain, 2.4% for those in the Bus Stop, 2.4% in Cindersap Forest, and 0.8% for those in the Pelican Town Center.

After acquiring the Ancient Doll, hold it and right-click on floor 100 of the Local Mines or the Volcano Caldera to obtain the Far Away Stone .

And to finally get Meowmere, take the Far Stone to a grass pedestal (bottom of the Terraria Forest Pillar) in the Wizard's Tower Basement and interact with it. An animation of a portal opening to the world of Terraria will play and at the end, Meowmere will drop.

The Basement of the Wizard's Tower can normally only be accessed with a Wizard's Friendship Level of 5 or higher, but it can also be accessed from the Witch's House if you do not have the Wizard's Friendship Level yet.
