This might be one of my new favorite levels in the game. The gameplay is incredibly consistent the entire way through with one single "choke point" which I will talk about in a second, and has a skill-based, no-bs feel to it having no awkward gimmicks other than its unique trait of there being split paths to choose from late into the level (which in my experience don't change much, there's no benefit to choosing either so you can just choose the easier path pretty much).

At around 65-66%, there is an incredibly difficult section where you have to jump over a set of 3 spikes with half speed which feels significantly more difficult than any other clicks in the level, which I noticed soon after getting far into the level. Despite this, they really aren't that difficult in hindsight since (at least in my experience) the visual indicators for when to jump are literally just when the glow of the icon touches the corner of the spike. I wouldn't really consider this a flaw with the level anyway, there's a huge break part right before this section giving you time to breathe, so nerves aren't the biggest issue here.

In terms of playing experience and walls, I felt like I wasn't ever really stuck anywhere in specific, each attempt past the last essentially made me nervous far later than before, giving me room to be consistent with the previous parts of the level. I've never played an XL (or XXL, who knows) this difficult, being almost 3 minutes long, but I didn't expect the level to be forgiving especially in regards to the nerves which is what I was most worried about.

Going forward, I think I'll be playing more list levels featured on the 1.9 list due to how fantastic the gameplay felt in this instance, and I've heard people say sky shredder is good too so who knows, I'll try that one out next. I also have 39% on Deadlier Clubstep (#33 on the list) from randomly trying it out as soon as it was placed on the demonlist, and I don't think any other level would have compelled me to waste my attempts on a level I know I wasn't ready for lmao. To me personally, modern gameplay gimmicks bloat levels with artificial difficulty and I'm glad there are still some levels on the list that focus on skill almost entirely.
