How to fix "GPU hangs!" crashes! // Crash Reporter \\ Исправляем сбои игры! [RUS/ENG]

Многие игроки думают, что проблема заключается в работе их видеокарты из-за характерного сообщения "GPU hangs" ("зависание графического процессора").
Однако моё решение показывает, что причина на самом деле в работе процессора.
Дело в том, что движок игры настолько не оптимизирован, что любые "не идеальные" режимы работы вашей системы выливаются в сбои, хотя на самом деле это не критично и вы даже не никогда бы не подумали об этом, играя в другие игры.

The fact is that the game engine is so poorly optimized that any "less than ideal" operating modes of your system result in failures, although in fact this is not critical and you would never even think about it when playing other games. Because my computer is brand new and it would be weird if the problem was in it.

Решение:

1) Вам необходимо узнать множитель своего ЦП. Обычно он равен тактовой частоте процессора, разделённой на 100. В случае моего I5-12400 он равен 25 (2500 MHz / 100 = 25). Если боитесь ошибиться, то загуглите множитель своего ЦП на любом сайте-магазине.
2) Перезапустите компьютер и зайдите в BIOS.
3) Зайдите в параметры разгона (Overclocking) и найдите следующие строки:
CPU Ratio
CPU Ring Ratio.
4) Первая строка является тем самым множителем вашего ЦП. Скорее всего сейчас у вас там стоит АВТО. Жмём на неё и вручную пишем ваш множитель (напоминаю, в моём случае это 25).
5) Во второй строке мы пишем ваш множитель, НО на 3 единицы меньше! (25 - 3 = 22 в моём случае).
6) Также есть параметр CPU Ratio Mode - в моём случае я оставил динамический (Dynamic или Automatic), так как это более корректный режим для работы процессора.
7) Обязательно сохраняем настройки (по умолчанию клавиша F10) и перезагружаем компьютер.

Примечания:

1) В зависимости от производителя вашей материнской платы попасть в параметры разгона можно по-разному. У меня плата от MSI и мне нужно нажать F7, чтобы перейти на страницу Advanced и затем перейти в Overclocking. Загуглите своего производителя, если это затруднительно для вас.
2) Если вы не видите строки CPU Ratio/CPU RIng Ratio, то попробуйте поставить OC Explore Mode с Normal на Expert.

Здесь я перечислю альтернативные решения, которые помогли другим игрокам.

1. Установить драйвер NVIDIA версии 555.85.
2. Если у вас уже стоит разгон процессора, то попробуйте создать в биосе новый чистый профиль и использовать моё решение.
3. Включение XMP профиля. Если у вас мощное игровое железо, то изучите как настроить XMP профиль для вашей оперативной памяти. Иногда по умолчанию мощные модели ОЗУ работают не в полную частоту, а на минимальной, что может сказываться на общей работе.

And now the solution:

1) You need to find out your CPU Ratio. It is usually equal to the base processor frequency divided by 100. In the case of my I5-12400, it is 25 (2500 MHz / 100 = 25). If you're afraid of making a mistake, then Google your CPU Ratio on any store site.
2) Restart the computer and enter the BIOS.
3) Go to Overclocking settings and find the following lines:
CPU Ratio
CPU Ring Ratio.
4) The first row is the multiplier of your CPU. You probably have a AUTO there right now. Click on it and manually write your multiplier (I remind you, in my case it's 25).
5) In the second line we write your ratio, BUT 3 units less! (25 - 3 = 22 in my case).
6) There is also a CPU Ratio Mode parameter - in my case, I left Dynamic, as this is a more correct processor mode.
7) Be sure to save the settings (by default, the F10 key) and restart the computer.

A couple of notes:

1) Depending on the manufacturer of your motherboard, there are different ways to get into the overclocking parameters. I have a board from MSI and I need to press F7 to go to the Advanced page and then switch to Overclocking. Google your manufacturer if this is difficult for you.
2) If you do not see the CPU Ratio/CPU RIng Ratio line, then try to set OC Explore Mode from Normal to Expert.

Here I will list alternative solutions that have helped other players.

1. Try to downgrade the NVIDIA driver to version 555.85.
2. Enabling the XMP profile. If you have powerful hardware, then try to enable XMP profile for your RAM. By default powerful RAM models do not operate at full frequency, but at stock, which can affect overall performance.
3. If you have overclocking CPU, then try to create a new clean OC profile in the BIOS and use my solution at the beginning of the post.

but this is not overclocking it’s manual tuning to ensure fixed behavior.

Got it. My CPU is also the i5-12400, so the ratio should be 25. I’ll enter BIOS, set CPU Ratio to 25, Ring Ratio to 22, and keep the mode on Dynamic. I’ll also make sure to check OC Explore Mode if the options aren’t visible. Will try this setup and see how it performs thanks for the detailed steps.

Easier fix is to limit FPS. But that brough a whole new error and crash instead..... :/
