Hoxton Breakout
Intervention/Investigation?

If you pay attention to your surroundings, you might have noticed that on any of the signs in the FBI building on day 2 of Hoxton Breakout, it says Intervention instead of Investigation.
Now, you may be thinking it's because of the typical copyright jibber jabber, but what if I told you that the monitors on the same day show the real FBI logo, with investigation on it?
Payday Gang References

Well, I think its safe to say at this point that we all know the forensic DNA that Hoxton needs is labeled "Clown Case", right? But there more references to them out there, one I have found is Dallas.

You might have passed this board a couple of times.

But have you taken a close look at it? If you examine the board closely, you will find Dallas' picture near the bottom left corner.

Shouldn't have worn those Infamy glasses, Dallas. Now they know your face.

"Zombie Hunting"?

If you have played Hoxton Breakout you most likely have been in this room.

Now while we are on the topic of "secrets", lets talk about this file you can find in the FBI forensics evidence room, which can only be acessed when Hoxton asks you to go find the traitor's DNA. If you look a bit around you might come across this file labeled "Zombie Hunting", which has a biohazard symbol on it. Is this a reference to OVERKILL making the next The Walking Dead game, or is it more?

What are you hiding from us, FBI?

Director's password

This is a minor easter egg, if it even is one. Occasionally after hacking the director's computer on day 2, Hoxton will tell you what the director's password was.

Guns of the special units
The Cloaker

The Cloaker is, along with the taser, one of the most annoying law enforcers out there. Despite being fairly easy to kill, they have some crazy kicking (but not quite hiding) skills in store for you. Now, however, he has joined the ranks of PAYDAY 2's hackers and game-breakers.

Just look at this... He has a unique retracted adjustable stock, and a special straight magazine. He also joined the ranks of PAYDAY 2's DLC-too-expensive whiners, and modded his gun to have a regular laser and flashlight at the same time.
I didn't think you would sink down to this level, Cloaker.

The Sniper

Have you ever taken a close look at these guys? Well, not that I expect you have, but take a look at this. These guys carry M4A1s with holosights and lasers? I mean, I know they are supposed to be so far away that it shouldn't matter, but sniper rifles are now in the game, so they should be carrying them instead, right?

With the distance they put between you and them, they might as well be using aimbot to hit us. And don't even get me started on those quickscopes!
Hotline Miami references
Before the Hotline Miami DLC was released, PAYDAY 2 already had references to it. This might not be the biggest content, but it's still worth mentioning.

The Hog
The Hog is a pig mask. Not just is the secondary signature mask of Hotline Miami's protagonist a pig (Aubrey), but the description of the Hog really gave it away.
"You have a new message! *BEEP*

Salutations, this is 'Almir' at OVERKILL. The Mask that you ordered should be delivered by now...

A list of instructions is included...

Make sure that you read them carefully!

Do you like hurting other people? Then this mask is for you."

Peter

It doesn't take a master detective to see where this mask (from Bain's "private collection"? What?) is based on. This white unicorn is quite obviously based on the white unicorn of the same name in Hotline Miami. Now you can attack the FBI HQ with the same mask you attacked a police station with!

Safehouse
As feature-less the safehouse feels, there are still plenty of little things hidden around it. Let's have a look.

Boxes
There are many cardboard boxes placed around the safehouse. This is due to the crew just recently having arrived. The boxes all have a piece of paper with the contents written on it, but some of them have some noticable names.
These names include counterfeit, green bridge, and other names of the heists from PAYDAY: The Heist. The most noticable box, however, is the one labeled "Baldwin". This is a reference to "the secret" of PAYDAY: The Heist, otherwise known as overdrill, the overvault, and other names.
The box labels all have the same barcode, which, when scanned, would read "I love secrets".

Sattelite dishes
The safehouse has unique sattelite dishes scattered around the level. These dishes can be shot down, although some are harder to hit, and this does not seem to have any effect.
A mysterious user on the PAYDAY wikia left a possible hint towards something secret, although it is unlikely to be real, and has since been removed. The "hint" stated that standing at certain positions and shooting the dishes in a certain order does not do anything, "or does it?".

Graffiti
In the back yard of the safehouse, graffiti can be found. The same graffiti can be found in various other levels, but they are still worth mentioning. One of the noteworthy "writings" is "Pick up the phone!", a reference to the heist Counterfeit in PAYDAY: The Heist. In Counterfeit, the police would be sent to check up on the house you are heisting after the phone is left unanswered. The phone cannot be answered, but it was often suggested during playthroughs of the heist to "pick up the phone".
Wolf has a brother?
It is already well known that Wolf owned a successful company before his days of crime. But unless this is a huge coincidence, Wolf has a brother.

Need i explain more?
Big Bank
Ah, the Benevolent bank. I'd wish people would stop finding out-of-bounds glitches and stop making ridiculous Breakin Bad/PAYDAY2 fan-fictions.

Loan conversations

If you listen closely, you can hear the bank tellers talking with the customers about loans. It wouldn't be noteworthy if it wasn't for proposals such as flying to the sun.

Bain's heisting family

I guess you practically could call this a secret...
Occasionally as you start the timelock, Bain may ask the crew if he ever told them about his grandfather's "heisting days". This, along with one of Bain's quotes after assaults ("Reminds me of myself back in the day"), most likely means that it is a family tradition in Bain's family to heist.
To anyone wondering, yes I (Picodreng talking) wrote the same thing on the wikia's Big Bank page.

Bobblehead Bob
This is almost too well known to be an easter egg, but it's worth mentioning anyway.
I'm sure you all remember Bob (the civillian from the Big Bank trailer). As you can guess from the achievements, he actually appears in the level. He is the only civillian in the level who uses that model, just to avoid confusement. He will spawn after some time to the left of the bank (outside view), he will then walk inside the bank and blend in doing the same roaming as the customers.
Taking him hostage and moving him inside the vault unlocks the "Backing Bobblehead Bob" achievement.

Stockmarket
There are a TON of references and easter eggs here, such as Cheese Toast Inc. which is a reference to the surprisingly commonly found bitten cheese toast in safes and deposit boxes.

There are also many stocks referencing other games such as Team Fortress 2 (BLU [Stock name here.]) and Half Life 2 (Freeman's Airboat Tours). Other names include in-game companies such as Omni Exports and Murkywater.
Misc. details
The following jibber jabber is random little details scattered across the heists.

First World Bank gold
Every single stack of gold bars in the game (except for the gold in Shadow Raid) belongs to First World Bank! It's simply the glory of re-used models.

Dual coffee mugs
In various camera rooms, including the one in the bank heists, you might notice the 2 coffee mugs on the table for the one guard. HARDCORE COFFEE!

IDKFA
On various wireless phones across the game, IdKFa and some numbers can be seen written on the screen. IDKFA is a cheat code from the classic game Doom, which grants the player all weapons, all keys, and full ammo.

First World Bank article
Various newspapers can be found across heists. These newspapers show an acrticle about First World Bank, in which it is claimed the bank manager was killed.
Thanks to Frelan for the picture.

BRO magazine
A magazine named "BRO!" is a common discovery across heists. The bottom of the magazine reads "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot", which is shortened to WTF.

Ilija The Traitor
At the start of Hotline Miami day 2, while you are sill in the box you can hear the commissar's men talking about Ilija (the sniper asset) and how he betrayed them.
Movie References
The Dark Knight (2008)

In this movie a gang robs a bank wearing clown masks and get a lot of money...wait...where have we heard this before? (Keep in mind this movie came out before PAYDAY: The Heist which was released in 2011) Near the beginning of the movie the leader of the crew does this pose:

Some of you might recognise Dallas also doing this pose from one of the PAYDAY 2 trailers:

Heat (1995)

This movie's features ramming an armored truck with a tow-truck to stop it then blowing open the doors. The heist was not only added in as a DLC heist later during the life span of PAYDAY 2, much like the Hotline Miami reference, it was referenced on release day through the Hockey Mask!

The movie also shows the now free community mask, Hockey Heat:

Even the start of the movie is similar to the trailer for the DLC.

Fun Fact: This heist is also featured in GTA V on the mission "Blitz Play" using the same tow-truck method.

Star Wars (1977)

Due to popular demand, i present the Star Wars section.
Now this dlc was released recently:

Long story short, there are mods for the weapons that turn them into star wars guns.

Modified Broomstick Pistol

Han Solo's Pistol

Modified Patchett L2A1 SMG

Stormtrooper Gun

Overkill, we all love you.

In the back of the Jewelry Store / Ukrainian job, There is a wrecked out crown Vic style car. the license plate (sfcpl85) is a reference to Terminator where the same license plate is on a wrecked out car.

Discovered this one myself. Couldn’t find another mention of it anywhere

If you look at the front of the statue of Lady Justice in the safe house, "DORIS" is etched on her leg, and at the bottom, a plaque reads "Justice is Done". This is a reference to Metallica's own rendition of Lady Justice, named Doris, shown on the cover art of their 1988 album "...And Justice for All", and featured as a large crumbling statue in their 1988-1989 shows.

Has anyone spotted these white glowing rods that I've been noticing, they look like the teleporter from the Bad Motherf**ker music video. I'm including links to screenshots http://steamcommunity.com/id/OfficialNatMan/screenshot/218815564728619390 http://steamcommunity.com/id/OfficialNatMan/screenshot/218815564728616980
These are the only occasions I've encountered them

Have you guys seen the DC pictures on "Hoxton Breakout"? When Hoxton is hacking, they appear around the room and show a series of images depicting locations in DC. But, the reflection in the pictures, instead of just reflecting light, reflects the DC skyline. I thought that was pretty interesting.
