Basic Setup
Much like with Jackbox games, it is entirely possible to play fake games by yourself, as long as you have enough devices or a halfway decent laptop or desktop computer.

Getting Enough "Players"
You only need three unique connections to the game to earn most of the achievements. If you have a laptop or desktop, you can join as multiple players simply by visitng playwtd[dot]com from multiple unique browsers. I was able to play in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox simultaneously, and I believe other browsers can be added as well. Otherwise, joining with multiple phones, tablets, etc can also work. Multiple monitors is preferred but not necessary if using a desktop.

Game Settings
For the achievements to work as outlined below, here are the game settings that matter:
  • Number of Rounds: 3
  • Bad Word Filter: All (For an achievement)
  • Negative Announcer Quips: Off (Saves time)
  • Progressive Scoring: On

Playing the Setup
If you are playing with three connections, you will generally be creating quick, junk responses for each of them and then voting so that the primary connection wins (usually whichever one has the option to continue the game with same or new players). You will want to be sure you are working towards achievements from the Specific Answers/Scenario section, especially those that require voting. You can earn a majority of the achievements by playing 10 games with 3 connections in a row with the same players if you do it right. I highly recommend playing with the sound off. The game audio gets annoying after awhile.

I Already Have...
Most players will already have some of the achievements, but it is still recommended to play the games as outlined to earn everything as easily as possible.
Game 1 - Blacklisted
Game 1 is a breakaway from the later formula of playing the first 10 games. You will be losing on purpose.

Rounds 1-3:
Make sure you primary connection gets 0 votes.

Achievements from game 1:

And We're Rolling
Submit your first dub.

Snubbed
Receive no votes in a round.

Moppet
Play a game with the bad word filter on (assuming you enabled this feature, easily earned another time if you didn't).

In the Can
Complete your first game of What the Dub.

Blacklisted
Finish a game with a score of 0.
Game 2 - The Comeback Kid/Scene Stealer
Play with the same players from the first game. This one you have to play just right to get everything to work out, but it's not really hard as long as you keep track of your three connections. Progressive scoring must be on.

ROUND 1
You will be tying the vote; just make sure each response gets one vote.

ROUND 2
  • Your primary connection should get 0 votes.
  • Your secondary connection should get 2 votes.
  • Your tertiary connection should get 1 vote.

ROUND 3
  • Your primary connection should get 2 votes.
  • Your secondary connection should get 0 votes.
  • Your tertiary connection should get 1 vote.

Achievements from Game 2:

Second Banana
Tie for the highest score in a round

Toast of the Town
Receive all of the votes in a round

Scene Stealer
Win a game with double the points of the second place player (easily earned later if it doesn't work out this game, just make sure your primary connection gets all the votes if not earned in game 2).

The Comeback Kid
Win a game after staring the last round in last place.

Cameo
Play two games in a row with the same players.
Games 3-10 - Rat Pack, Etc
Games 3-10 you will be playing with the same players.

TIPS:
  • Be sure to win 3 games in a row.
  • Work towards all the achievements in the next section while playing these 10 games.
  • Be sure not to exit at any point or select "new players" instead of "same players"

Achievements from games 3-10:

Break Out
Win three games in a row.

Ensemble
Play five games in a row with the same players.

Super 8
Play eight games.

Rat Pack
Play 10 games in a row with the same players.
Specific Answers/Scenarios
You can earn all of these achievements while playing the first ten games for Rat Pack. Just make sure you still win three games in a row. Ordered from rarest to most common as of time of writing.

One Hit Wonder
Win multiple rounds with the same response. Length does not matter.

Doppleganger
Multiple people submit the same response. Single word or single letter responses work for this.

Hollywood Darling
Win every round of a game.

Rushes
Submit your answer within 5 seconds. Just type anything and click fast; you don't have to win.

Bio-Pic
Use a developer's name in a response. This was confirmed with Mark Zorn but should also work with Kurt Wojda.

Art House
Every word in a response starts with the same letter (I think this works with single word responses).

Tagline
Win a round with a one word answer.

Auteur
Win a round with a response at least 90 characters in length. For reference, the character limit for dubs is 150.

Nail-Biter
Submit your dub response at the last second.

Foley Artist
Use sound effects in your dub.
Games 11-70 - Technirama, etc
Once you have played the 10 games for Rat Pack and have earned all the answer-based achievements, you can earn all the achievements for playing games by playing single player games (with all the same settings as above). This makes playing 70 games much more feasible. I recommend doing these while doing something else, as you'll just be inputting a junk response periodically and then clicking same players until you have played 70 games. Aside from creating some sort of script, there is no way to be fully be AFK for these games, as the game will not proceed without at least one dub.

16mm
Play 16 games.

35mm
Play 35 games.

Technirama
Play 70 games.
Miscellaneous
The last few are the hardest as they may require actually finding other players.

Contract Player
Play a game with the max number of rounds (10). This may work in single player but has not been confirmed. If not, just use three connections like before.

Full House
Play a game with the max number of players (6). If you cannot create six connections by yourself, then I suggest trying to host a game through the official discord server. It only has to be for a 3 round game.

Blockbuster
Play a game with max audience (12). My best recommendation for this is to host a game through the official discord server, and then to join the audience with as many connections as you personally can after the game has started (It should just be your primary connection playing the main game). Please note this requires a minimum of 15 connections, as the audience is disabled in games of less than 3 players.
Conclusion
I hope that you have found this guide to be helpful. Please be sure to leave it a like and a favorite if you did. Hopefully you have some fun times playing this game with friends in and among grinding for the achievements.
