Basic Quest Information
People and items associated with quests have an exclamation point (indicating that a quest can be learned) or a question mark (indicating that a quest can be advanced) above them. The color of the exclamation point or question mark depends on the type of the quest. There are six different types of quests:

Yellow Quests:
These are story quests and will advance the story line.

Green Quests:
These are the side quests and are not necessary to advance in the game, but are useful for experience.

Blue Quests:
These quests are related to professions.

Orange Quests:
These quests can only be advanced while running a group instance.

Red Quests:
These quests are elite quests, typically involve defeating boss-rank creatures.
Gray Quests:
These quests are for higher levels.
Daily Quests
Apprentice trainers for all professions give out daily quests. The quests are the same every day, so sometimes it may be convenient to gather or craft the quest items for some of the following days too, unless it means you're going to run out of storage space.

As you level up in a profession, the apprentice trainers will give out higher level quests in addition to the lower level quests. The items required for each quest will be listed here.

Rewards: All skill quests reward 6 bronze, some skill and some character XP. The XP rewards increase with higher level quests. (The 'Quest Complete' popup mistakenly shows all quests as earning 45 character XP but this is correct only for level 1 quests). Additionally:

  • level 1 and 5 skill quests reward one Artisan Award

  • level 10, 15, and 20 quests give you a choice between a Small Bag of Artisan Awards, a Small Bag of Prestige Points and a Small Bag of Coins

  • level 25 and 30 quests give you a choice between a Regular Bag of Artisan Awards and a Regular Bag of Coins
  • level 35, 40, and 45 quests give you a choice between a Large Bag of Artisan Awards and a Large Bag of Coins
