System requirements
  • For android: at least 8 GB of RAM
  • For iPhone: It will probably work everywhere, if you manage to install it
Download
  • You must own At Dead Of Night in Steam
  • Download At Dead Of Night for Android mod (check comments for this guide)
  • Choose either APK (Android) or IPA (iPhone)
  • Prove that you own the game with Steam
  • For android, you can just install it and run. For iPhone, you must use AltStore or Sideloadly.
Common problems
The game crashes after I run it
You don't have enough RAM. Try closing other apps and cleaning up a bit of space on your device. If that doesn't help, check your phone characteristics online, it must have at least 8 gb of RAM.
The game slightly freezes when I move or rotate
This is especially noticable on iPhones. Safari does not let you load videos and audio to buffer (ram) so on iPhone they are streamed from disk, which has some latency and thus delay when you change animations (move/interact with hotel).
On Android I didn't notice this on my phone but if it does freeze on yours, comment and I'll add info to performance spreadsheet.

Check your device compatability in this table: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oyyau5VPeA4obLWvlPKQQSB8kgIYfQoX7xH1DXmIr6A/edit?gid=0#gid=0

p.s. notice to Tim Follin and whoever it may concern: in these releases I obfuscated decompiled app.js that is loaded in browsers, so I'm technically not redistributing the game's source code, as it's impossible to deobfuscate it

It worked, thank you! I had my games on private, now it works as I changed it!

Your library of games must be open. Also your Steam profile must be open and visible and At Dead Of Night must not be hidden from library. That is a technical limitation from Steam's openid, because openid only returns your steam id so that then backend can request your public profile and see library, Steam disabled OAuth for some reason which would have allowed backend to actually get access to your library even if it's hidden. I believe you should've received a toast message on the mods website in bottom right corner when you're redirected back telling you this, let me know if it didn't pop up.

I tried this, but when I try to sign in with steam, it only throws me back to the page where I can download the mods. What do I do?

Iphone users: if you own Mac (by the way you can play my macos port too), you can ask me for xcode project copy if you own the game in steam library and install at dead of night port directly on your iphone, but please only contact me if you know how to install and use xcode for this kind of things
