Getting illusion stones through notepad

Are you tired of grinding for illusion stones?
Is the transmog too inconvenient and expensive?
Well for my friends and I, trying to get something that really *clicks* can empty the coin purse when you have to experiment.

Lots of words

You'll need a text editor, notepad, preferably Notepad++
Trust me it's easy.
First you need at least 1 illusion stone, if you don't, hit the shop.

Open your local files for the game, if you right click it in your library and go to properties, then installed files you'll be able to click local files and it will take you there.
I'm going to show you how to do it with the character inventory but it works the same way for the bank too.
From the local files you go to Atlyss_Data, then profileCollections, and, with either notepad, open ''atl_characterProfile_0'' (the number at the end changes depending on what slot this character is on).

In the open notepad scroll down till you see a section starting with ''inventoryProfile'' or hit CTRL + F to open a search prompt, and type that in instead. Under that section it will show your current characters inventory, find the illusion stones and change ''quantity'' to 20 (not maxquantity).
After that you just hit save, you'll certainly burn through it fast if you experiment like we did.

So if you want to build a few more stacks at a time, you already have it set up to do so.
After you're back in-game you'll need to split the stack using the bank, it's best if you do this in singleplayer so others can't snatch your stones.
How do we do that? While next to the bank, drop 19 of the 20 stones from your inventory, it will ask you how many to drop. Put the single stone in one of the other 2 categories in your bank to avoid confusion. Those will be the ''atl_itemBank_01'' or ''atl_itemBank_02'' for reference.
Now do it again, drop 18 of the 19 and put the single stone in a separate slot from the first one, rinse and repeat until you're satisfied or run out, remember each of those single stones will be another 20 later.

Hit save and exit notepad

Bank method is the same way

Drop 19 of 20 stones on the ground. Put the single stone in the bank, pick up 19 stack, repeat using different slots each time. Then do first method's notepad editing for each illusion stone you see.
