Introduction
The Guide will try to cover everything there is to Snow Festival Event

although It will be only as actual/factual/and descriptive as the Author of the guide will be able to experience the Event, so keep that in mind.

The guide is provided as is with any guarantess to the information provided here.

The sole creator of the Guide is Niyumiya from Pyrros server

[♾️] Sign/Mark will be used to Point Out Daily/Repeatable Quests
Dancing with Dragons!
Snow Festival seems to be tied with the Dancing with Dragons! Event which is like the extension/additional event to it.

And there's a special/exclusive Icon to take you to this screen which is located on your bar next to the Collection icon and between the Premium Shop icon, right there! :

and from there after you get acquainted with everything that screen have to provide, you can use an Icon there to Travel directly to Event NPC Nicholas Colaus! :

or you can continue to read! or get there by yourself! who knows, maybe you already there...
How to Participate/The Way to Snow Island
To officially start your participation in Event you need to go to Varlone, Capital City

At the center of the City,

there will be
Nicholaus Colaus (NPC)
waiting for you!

Take your first quest from Nicholas Colaus, he will give a Chain of Quests that you will need to do in order to progress with your Snow Festival Journey

Important Note: before we continue - a lot of players are asking about this Quest all around, how to do it and what it is about, well the thing is... This Quest is just simply about the last Quest in the Chain, and the name of this Quest might be a Quest that you don't have yet... you will get there while doing other Quests from the same Chain which is Snow of Yesteryear. and as long as you continue to do those Quests you will get to the one in Question and Confusion. You can look at the Sections of this guide to roughly know where's the mentioned Snow of Yesteryear. Dancing under the Christmas Tree and what is this all about, but it's not recommended.

Important Note 2#:

Also, if you keep kind of „Stuck” or rather „Confused” What to do next if you don't have any Snow of Yesteryear. Quests, then do any other that you got, especially the ones from Island Keeper, Master of Ornaments, Innkeeper Janvier and so on... They have a lot of Introductory Quests that are circling all around the Event that are supposed to keep you on Track, but can also Keep you out of the Loop if you disregard some Smaller but much needed Quest.

New Year Bash

Important Note: This should be your first Quest given but keep in mind that this Quest is pretty much the Beginning and the Ending of the Chain, what do I mean by that? That you will keep this Quest for a pretty long time. This Quest requirements is for you to do a last Quest from Snow of Yesteryear. Chain without the one at the End which is a Repeatable Quest. (Repeatable Quest mentioned is the Snows of Yesteryear. Christmas Trees in Elenia it's at the very end of a Chain, and you're not even required to do it. So worth to keep that in mind)

So well... let's go to the Snow Island, shall we?

You might be puzzled as to how to do it, as there was and still is a lot of confusion around players regarding this, but there's nothing difficult in that... There's a Maiden Veronica just behind the Christmas Tree, and you can ask her to take you to the Snow Island.

And there she is, just ask her if "Is there any Holiday celebrations going right now on Elenia?"
and then kindly tell her "Please, take me to Snow Island!"
Snow Island

Island Keeper
Your quest was to talk with Island Keeper, and here we are, and here he is!

I don't know if there's some Error or not, but the mission names are either different, or there's some factual error in those, but you don't need to worry! I think that's the correct one anyway! as the name seems similiar haha.

As I don't want you to spoil the content nor the quests itself, you may decide if you want to go on with the rest of my guide or not!

I wouldn't be as descriptive as I used to be, but well!

Maybe it will help you with something along the way!
So yea! Meowy Christmas, Good Hunting and Happy Gaming! to you! or... just scroll down with me!

Snows of Yesteryear. Old Christmas Tree

We neeeed to find new Christmas Tree to replace the old one, ya? Do you know where we could get that? Yea... I don't know either... but we will manage!

Whoooo would have know? The Keeper is just meowkin lazy... It's right there! In plain sight! ready to be our new Christmas Tree!

Get in on your shoulder would ya? I'm too fragile for that...

Well we kind of did it? It's a wrong TREE! but it's still A RIGHT TREE! he both liked our efforts but wanted more... what a lazy little bum...

Snows of Yesteryear. The Inspector is watching you

Do you think what I'm thinking? NO?! Oh right... how could you know what it is... Sorry

Just hit him with some snow... just kidding, just go to talk with him; you would need to take a stroll though...

While making your way to the Inspector you want to interact with the Block of Ice along the way, cause who knows, maybe they could come in handy later!

After you take a much needed stroll and lie... to the Inspector, you need to come back to Island Keeper for some more Criminal deeds... so there's a small tip from me! Don't you dare to tire your legs, just use the Event Menu again to Travel to Nicholas, then talk to Maiden and come back to the Snow Island! That would be much faster than you... going through all the way back... and...

Snows of Yesteryear. Criminal Traces

No body... no Crime... Wait... what?! Nevermind, don't mind me... just clean your mess...

Toten is here, if you would have difficulties with finding him

Snows of Yesteryear. The Right Christmas Tree

Ready to cut some wood? AGAIN?! You talked to the Keeper right? turned in your previous quest and yadda yadda? NO?! then what are you waiting for! Cause I'm waiting for you!

You did everything already? then go on... but if not... then try to catch up... come on...

You might have problem with getting directions in this quest, cause as you were asked to get a new Tree, there's no directions where you should go... well, kinda...

There's is a marker placed on the Map, but I swear to Santa, I didn't see this at first glance... but here, let me help you!

Remember about our little Trick! for traversing from earlier, it's really much faster to just use Teleport back to City and then back to Snow Island, don't ask me why... it just is!

Snows of Yesteryear. The Right Ornaments

And that's wheeeeeeeereeeee the reaaal effort begins...

Let me do a list! especially for you! and you only! :

Christmas Ornaments
0/10
Sparkling Christmas Ornaments
0/5
Winter Dreamcatchers
0/2
Magic Mirrors
0/5

Pretty fancy right?

Let's break it down!

Christmas Ornaments
I hope that you already know how and where you can get Christmas Ornaments, you should already have the required amount by now by doing these previous Quests with me, unless... unless... you picked up Snowballs instead of Christmas Ornaments...

...

...

Don't worry tho... not all is lost! These are pretty easy to get, you would just need to do some more different Quests or just roam around and Kill some Mobs, especially the Festive ones, as they're drops the Ornaments pretty often, as it's their usual loot!

Sparkling Christmas Ornaments
and this is where it get's complicated... cause to get Sparkling Christmas Ornaments you need to craft these Ornaments, and to craft them, you need a Recipe for them, and to get a recipe for them you need to go to NPC who would sell it to you, and to craft those, you would need Snow Dust as well... aaaand to craft Snow Dust, you would need another recipe... and on top of that... you would need something that you probably don't have... which is... Confectioner's Sugar... to craft Snow Dust, from a recipe that you would need to buy, then to craft a Sparkling Christmas Decorations from the recipe with the Snow Dust you just got from another recipe!

You still here with me, right? I didn't lost you there? But you know what? I was serious...

Don't panic tho! I got you!

Find this guy! He's nearby the center of the Snow Island on the right and also in Capital City nearby the Christmas Tree and alsoooooo in like a gazillion of other places during Christmas, you probably know about him... and if not! I already told you about him!

He got everything... well almost everything that you need...

Buy all of the Recipes he got, it's a little bit of cash, but I think you're pretty Majestic and Wealthy fella...

If you're not familiar with crafting tho, just as I am... then well... let me help you once more.

The Recipes you bought are sadly one-time only, meaning they will be used after Crafting, so you need to buy the required amount of each, to craft the items, but for now you should have/buy :

5x
Recipe: Sparkling Christmas Decoration
3x
Recipe: Snow Dust
7x
Recipe: Magic Mirror
2x
Recipe: Winter Dreamcatcher

but only if my math is not wrong! and if you didn't act too much on your own!

Next to the Master of Christmas Ornaments there's a Alchemical Cauldron and if you don't know much yet about crafting, then it's the thing that it's needed for using Recipes and Crafting! overall.

You just need to put or drag the choosen recipe to the Alchemical Cauldron window, check if you have everything and go on with Craft! although, you probably still missing some Materials...

There's some NPC's all around the Snow Island, especially all around the Christmas Tree on the center; not far from the place that you're now, and Island Keeper, there's a Inkeeper Javier, he's between all of these Holiday Tables that you probably seen already - go to him, and check his stock, he got some Confectioner's Sugar that you would/might need. (I think you would need 9 for current Quest! if you don't have any... just a small tip though!)

You should be able to Craft enough of Sparkling Christmas Sugar now, and if not, you already know what to do and when to find it!

Winter Dreamcatchers

You will need two though! so you should double the required amount of these items by x2! unless you already have some Winter Dreamcatchers! You could got/get one from Master of Ornaments by doing some sort of a Introductory Quest for him earlier, and he will let you keep one as a Quest Reward!

Fibril
2x
River Pearl
5x
White Feather
3x
Reed Branches
1x
Magic Mirror
1x

Fibril - Can be found in Cocoon's the ones that Meadow Bumblebuzzes spawn from, but can also looted from Spiders for e.g. Forest Spider, Poisonous Spider.

River Pearl - Can be obtained from Block of Ice on Snow Island.

White Feather - It's a Reward from one of the Quests on Snow Island, given by J.F. Corrigan on Snow Island, but can also be bought outside the Snow Island from Ronda (NPC) in Iris [15-20].

Reed Branches - You can collect those by Foraging them on Maps like Croaknick [40-45], Trilakes [25-30].

Magic Mirror - You should already know how to craft it by now.

Magic Mirror

The things needed for crafting Magic Mirror are as follow :

River Pearl
3x
Icy Silver
2x
Mirror Shard
5x

and as you will need to craft 5x Magic Mirror in Total then it's 15x River Pearls, 10x Icy Silver and 25x Mirror Shard

All of these items you could get pretty easily but with some minimal effort all around the Snow Island from Block of Ice

I have marked some if not all of the possible Block of Ice spawns just for you! (just kidding, I didn't mark them, I got these marks from another random Quest ehehe)

Good Luck with Collecting all of the Items and Crafting the Required stuff!
If you do, then Island Keeper would will wait for your return!

and you might think that's actually over, but...
He will give you another Quest in Chain though...

Snows of Yesteryear. Setting up the new Christmas Tree

In case you would end up confused on what to do... just press the Christmas Tree with your Right... or Left Click? Crap! I don't know exactly!!! You will figure! You must!

Island Keeper will be pleased anyway!

but you wouldn't be... He's sending you on a Trip! and not the kind of trip you would want...

and with this He gave you 2 Quests at once :

Snows of Yesteryear. Dancing under the Christmas Tree

and

Snows of Yesteryear. Christmas Tree in Elenia

Which I would cover in next sections!

Snows of Yesteryear. Dancing under the Christmas Tree
Pretty self-explanatory right?

and if it's not, just Press (Left Click!) the Christmas Tree beside Island Keeper to make the Christmas Tree to... well... „dance?”

That's it... there's nothing else to it...

Really... that's it...

Your Remote How-to-Dance with a Tree Course is now Concluded!

Do you want a Certficate or something?

Go Get the Reward from Island Keeper instead...

He will you give more than a Reward though... you're gonna get a Present! No matter if you was Bad or Good Boy! Go get it!

It's worth to Note that after you do this introductory Quest about touching Spruces... the one you got at the very Beginning of your Christmas Journey will be also Completed and that Quest name is New Year Bash which is the one you got from Nicholas Claus pretty early on without explanation what to do and what is this about...

After you do turn-in the New Year Bash Quest, there will be a lot of New/Repeatable Quests available at Nicholas Colaus. He will also clutter your Journal with entries about bringing him the Dragon Scales, even if you didn't played before Steam Global Launch so you don't have any... I'm not sure if it was intended, but I guess some of us got to live with it...
[Daily] Collect your gift
After you get your present from under the Christmas Tree for the First Time in previous Quest, then you can come back every day for yet another one! You can only do it for the remaining days of the Event sadly... it's worth though! The Giftbox (Present) could have some nice Rewards in it!

 Collect your gift.jpg]

To claim your gift you need to talk with Island Keeper then select "Collect your gift" Quest and accept it, then your Gift Box will spawn just nearby.

 Collect your gift1.jpg]

then just Press it, and collect it from there!

Then remember from now on, to Claim it everyday! You never know what goodies you can get!

Gift Box Possible Drops:
The Amount of items you get is Random, but I think it's from like 1 to 5 Items at once
- Holiday Cake (0-5?)
- Herbal Tea (0-5?)
- Snowball (0-7?)
- Vial of Mana Potion (0-4?)
- Orcish Invigoration Potion (0-3?)
- Mystical Fireworks (0-3?)
- Card of Winter

- ???
- ???
[♾️] Snows of Yesteryear. Christmas Trees in Elenia
So... you're up for a Trip? It wouldn't be all around the World, but kind of all around Elenia...

You would need to „touch” a total of 6 Christmas Tree in 6 different places all over Elenia.

The first one is in Varlone, which you probably already touched... most of us did... and mostly by accident...

Touch the Christmas Tree in Varlone

Touch the Christmas Tree in Teuton

The next Christmas Tree is in Teuton [50-55], and if you never was there, or you're early on in-game, then it's a bit of an Adventure!

It's up to what path you will take, but I will go from Varlone to Illayr [15-20] then to Dancing Forest [25-30], and Interluve [45-50], Elona [50-55], and I will head to Teuton [50-55], just a little stroll!

I had some difficulties there, so I changed the Path... I will go from Varlone [Capital City of Elenia] to Quedock [20-25] then Mistgan [35-40] and Mooshroom [40-45] and I didn't make it! I died along the way, without proper level and let's say some Stealth Skill, or enough of a Movement Speed, you will get stoped by Monsters along the way.

In the end I didn't made it as well... so I changed the way and approach again, I got some more levels (27), got a Mount (Snow Croc from Snow Festival) and Speed Boost Consumables (Grass Chewing Gum), then I go from Varlone [Capital City of Elenia] to Illayr [15-20] then to Interluve [45-50] and through Elona [50-55] i would end up in Teuton finally, but no...

I died in Elona because of Hostile Mobs that killed me sadly, I wasn't able to outrun them...

You may wonder why I even wrote about all of this? well... to finally maybe do it, and to find out what you need to get there, preferably safely, for the first time, and maybe as a new player, or as a beginner...

No luck though... the Path to Teuton to inexperienced heroes is kind of harsh...

Touch the Christmas Tree in
Source of Joy. Snow Dust
Master of Ornaments asked us to make some Snow Dust

To make Snow Dust we would need a Recipe for Snow Dust which we can buy from Master of Ornaments itself.

We would also need Snowballs which is a pretty Common Drop during Snow Festival from all Monsters out there, and a Confectioner's Sugar, which you can buy from Innkeeper Janvier on Snow Island, not far from Master of Ornaments and Christmas Tree in the Center

It's good to keep the Reward from this Quest, as it's needed in another Quest during Snow Festival, so if you don't have a need to use it or sell it, I suggest you to keep it. The Item in question is Snowy Delight which is a Food Item that you would need later during different Quest, so it may save you some time.

After you turn in the Quest and Take the Reward, Master of Ornaments will give you another Quest in the Chain.
Source of Joy. Christmas Ornaments.

He would ask you to make Sparkling Christmas Ornaments out of Normal/Regular Ones, and to do that you would also need to know how to make Snow Dust, which you already know!

To do a Sparkling Christmas Ornaments you will need to buy another Recipe from Master of Ornaments, Recipe: Sparkling Christmas decorations and yea, don't ask me why he would say Ornaments, and here is the "decorations", I don't know either...

You already know how to make Snow Dust from the Previous Quest and as of how and where to get Christmas Ornaments, you should also know... but if you're lacking those, you can always do something else, and you will get it as a Regular Drop from nearly all the Monsters out there in Elenia, especially the Festive ones.

After you do the required Collecting and Crafting, and by the time you turn in your Items for a Quest to complete, that would be the End of Quests from Master of Ornaments in this Quest Line
The Miror of Winter. Silver Frame

Icy Silver
5x
River Pearls
3x

This is a bit of a Side Quest from Darin the Blacksmith

in Varlone

and you can get both materials from Block of Ice on Snow Island

After you're done with this Quest, the Blacksmith will give you another Quest as it is a bit of a Chain Quest the next Quest in Chain is The Miror of Winter. Fragile Things
The Mirror of Winter. Fragile Things

You can find Master of Ornaments in a various places but the fastest would be a Teleport to Nicholaus Claus from the Dancing with Dragons Menu

And he's standing nearby a Christmas Tree at the center of Varlone.

Talk with him about Winter Dreamcatchers and he will give a Quest to Craft one
The Mirror of Winter. Winter Dreamcatcher

He will give you a Recipe: Winter Dreamcatcher (You can find it in 4th Tab in your Backpack which is Crafting Tab)

Let's break it up!

Fibril
2
River Pearl
5
White Feathers
3
Reed Branches
1
Magic Mirror
1

Fibril - Can be found in Cocoon's the ones that Meadow Bumblebuzzes spawn from, but can also looted from Spiders for e.g. Forest Spider, Poisonous Spider.

River Pearl - Can be obtained from Block of Ice on Snow Island.

White Feather - It's a Reward from one of the Quests on Snow Island, given by J.F. Corrigan on Snow Island, but can also be bought outside the Snow Island from Ronda (NPC) in Iris [15-20].

Reed Branches - You can collect those by Foraging them on Maps like Croaknick [40-45].

Magic Mirror - You should already know how to craft it by now.

After Collecting required items, Crafting the Winter Windcatcher, and talking to Master of Ornaments the Quest and this particular Quest Chain will be completed!

It's also worth noting that he doesn't take the Winter Dreamcatcher from you! You will end up the Quest with your Winter Dreamcatcher still in hand!
Corrigan's Wildlife Musem
There's a Wildlife Museum lead by J.F. Corrigan and he would also would be willing to give you some Quests!

Here's where you will find him along with his Monstrouuus Exhibition! ekhem... Museum!

Orc Beast Show. Poultry House Catastrophe

Corrigan wants you to Catch some Kerocs for him, Kerocs are agile little birds

which you can capture with bare hands (just click on them with your RMB) I would advise to catch more than he wanted in the first place (at least 10 to be exact instead of only 5, you will know why in a moment!)

aaaand here's where you would find them!

and the reward would be much needed White Feathers for Crafting Winter Dreamcatchers

he will also give you yet another Quest which would require exactly the same thing from you, starting another Quest in Chain, but this Quest is Repeatable! You don't have to do it if you don't want/don't need to!
[♾️] Orc Beast Show. Bird Fuss
Orc Beast Show. Monstrous Cheater

You will not get anywhere with completing his request though, as Ildvar would give you another.
Orc Beast Show. Ildvar's Secret

and it will turn to yet another...
Orc Beast Show. What Bumblebuzzes Buzz About

and now you will end up with a need of a Snowy Delight (well two... to be exact)

If you don't know where you could get one, then let me help you. There was some Holiday Food Tables when you were running all around island, do you remember where it was? If not... then it's nearby Christmas Tree on the center of the Snow Island, and if you're still clueless...

There's also Inkeeper Javier which would be more than Happy to sell you a Recipe for a Snowy Delight (Well... I think he will be...) you would need to turn to a second page though while browsing his wares... (pretty hidden...)

Ahh and! buy two! these are one-use only

You can buy some of the things from him as well if you're lack those, such like: Maple Syrup and Confectioner's Sugar

and Milk... well how to put it... I searched hard and wide and the only place I would find Milk was in Maragorne [1-10] bought from Thomas the Merchant (NPC)

Right there in Maragorne [1-10], Village

If have everything ready to Craft then go to any Alchemical Cauldron, and use your Recipe!

and These are the rewards for turning the Quest in :

Orc Beast Show. Sunk in Translation
If you go back to Illdvar after doing previous Quest in line, he's already got a next Quest for you.

After some talks you will get another one... in Chain

Orc Beast Show. Analyze it

To get the thing that Jarra the Monster want we need to go to Innkeeper Javier for a Recipe: Side of Haul in Maple Syrup it's on the second page while browsing though his wares for [45g] but we need 3! so buy 3, as the recipe is a single-use only.

So in terms of materials in total you would need:

Maple Syrup
6x
Haul Ribs
9x
Cheese
6x
Honey
3x

Maple Syrup - You can buy it from Innkeeper Janvier for [30g] each.
Haul Ribs - Possible Drop from Haul's in Taskona Valley for example.
Cheese - Can be bought from Thomas the Merchant for [31g] each in Maragorne [1-10].
Honey - Can be bought from Innkeeper Janvier on Snow Island for [600g] or Elder Cornelius for [600g] each in Croaknick [40-45].

After you done Collecting and Crafting, go back to Jarra to turn-in your items and Complete the Quest!

The Quest Chain is not Over though! You can go back to Illdvar and he's got another!
Orc Beast Show. Boar Translator

As you may guess already, it's another Craft for us to make... and the Required Recipe (Recipe: Squelchian Grub) is waiting for you in Innkeeper Janvier stock, ready to be bought for [45g] per piece, so buy 3, cause that's the quantity we will need.

There's a small table of required items to Craft a batch of 3x needed for the Quest!

Porcino Mushroom
9x
Dirtydine Extract
3x
Snow Dust
3x

and as for where to get them if you happen to not know and maybe willing to know...

Porcino Mushroom - Porcino Mushroom is mostly a Overworld Item that you can Forage from Nodes with the same Name, they're just Mushrooms!

Confirmed Locations with Porcino Mushrooms : Iris [15-20]

Dirtydine Extract - Uncommon Drop from Forest Warrior, you can Find and Hunt Forest Warrior in Elgore [10-15]

You can also buy it from Quach (NPC) in Trilakes [25-30] for [58g] per piece which I recommend... dropping it from Monsters or rather hoping that It will drop from the monster that I know for a fact they can drop it, doesn't seem to be a good idea... It take me a lot of time, and I wish I would know about it earlier.

Snow Dust - and Snow Dust is a Crafted Material; you can get a Recipe for it from Master of the Ornaments and the required Items for it are: 2x Snowballs and 3x Confectioner's Sugar (That you can buy from Innkeeper Janvier)

To Craft the Required items you can Use the Alchemy Cauldron on Snow Island, nearby Master of Ornaments at the center of the Island, and from there you will be close from getting your Reward.

Go back to Heraal and give him the thing

This Quest will be Completed although... There will be yet another to claim from Ildvar

Orc Beast Show. Birds of a Feather
After some talks with Ildvar, it should be... well technically... his last request

He ask us to deliver the letter to his Sister, and she could be find in Varlone [Capital City of Elenia]

The funny thing is though she will send us for another Journey...
Orc Beast Show. Final Diagnosis

After some Initial talk she will also send you to visit another relative of hers, which is her Father, Baldur, along with some Gifts for him, but also Rewards for you.

Her Father Baldur is in Taskona Valley with a Fisherman Takeshi, right there:

The Rewards are:
- 1200 Experience
- 697 Gold
- 5x Toad Spawn
- 5x Frog Legs
- 1x Frosty Rag

and the Quest, along with the Chain is finally over!
Innkeeper Janvier
You can find Innkeeper Janvier along with Lottery Organizer at the center of the Snow Island near the Christmas Tree

He got some repeatable Quests like

Taste Holiday Dishes
Taste Holiday Drinks

Decide for yourself if you want to do those, they're rather easy and fast to do, but I think they're a bit of a filler.

Still nice though! I couldn't find a need in me to do those for such Rewards, as I'm not doing any content yet that would be needing those, so it's entirely up to you, if you're in a need of those!
Daily Tasks [Snow Island, Innkeper Janvier/Lottery Organizer]
You can get Daily Tasks from Innkeeper Janvier and Lottery Organizer which are all about Crafting Food and Drinks every day.
[Daily Task] Squelchian Grub

You can get a Recipe: Squelchian Grub from Innkeeper Janvier for [45g].

To craft it, you would need:

Porcino Mushroom
3x
Dirtydine Extract
1x
Snow Dust
1x

and as for where to get required items if you happen to not know and maybe willing to know:

Snow Dust - is a Crafted Material; you can get a Recipe for it from Master of the Ornaments and the required Items for it are: 2x Snowballs and 3x Confectioner's Sugar (That you can buy from Innkeeper Janvier)

To Craft the Required materials and Squelchian Grub itself you can Use the Alchemy Cauldron, nearby Master of Ornaments at the center of the Snow Island, and from there you will also be pretty close to Janvier to turn your Craft and get the Reward, but...

Rewards:
- Absolutely Nothing in terms of material things.

[Daily Task] Cucumber Juice with Cherry on Top

Just like with other Food and Drinks required for other Daily Tasks, you can get the Recipe needed to Craft Cucumber Juice with Cherry on Top from Innkeeper Janvier (NPC) for
[45g]

[Daily] Total Snowflakefication

You get Points for every Snowflake that you will get, and you can get Snowflakes exclusively from Frost Ants; you can check the amount and time to melt of Regular/Melting-Snowflakes at your Status Bar (If you carrying any of those) and you can also check on Status Bar (Different Icon/Status though) how many Points you already have for handing those in to Nicolas.

Maybe I approached this thing whole thing wrong but every Frost Ant that you kill gives you 1x regular snowlake (always) and refresh your other „regular” / „melting” snowflakes time back to 5 minutes (doesn't matter how many you have), and it doesn't matter how many you got when the timer runs out - as you will lose all of them...

So I was having a hard time collecting those as that would require killing 1x Frost Ant every 5 minutes to keep your melting snowflakes intact... or to come back to Nicholas just in time, to get like a few points... (depending on your Streak of course)

Racking these bonusses for collecting more at once seems to be difficult and rather inconvenient... I completed this Quest only once sadly... as most of my points came from Non-Melting Snowflakes which are kind of Uncommon/Quite-uncommon drop from Frost Ants but (They do not Melt, give you 10 Points, take 1 Slot in your Loot Tab) they much more convenient and made much more sense to me.

So yea...

[Daily] Velcrond's Old Tricks

Nicholaus want us to Defeat 100 Frost Monsters such like (Frost Grolling, Frost Ant, Frost Klug) to Lure out Velcrond and to Take Him Down!

and actually we don't really need to Defeat that many most of the times cause the Velcrond could be lured out anyway, you could approach him randomly everywhere with the exception of Varlone, I guess other players are luring him out and don't defeat him, or he just spawn itself or randomly when some requirements on the particular map are met... I don't know for sure, but I know that you don't need to kill 100 Frost Monsters, unless you want to lure him out while being unlucky to stumble upon him!

It's also worth to kill Frost Monsters anyway cause you would need a lot of Snowballs to Defeat him.

He has 700,000 Total HP and your Snowball could take him 2500 DMG when fighting him solo, and then your Damage will be cut in half for every player nearby that will also attack Velcrond, you can know it by the fact that he's gaining Non-melting armor of Velcrond (The higher the danger, the stronger the armor) stacks for every player nearby.

To fight with Velcrond you need to approach him and Talk to him, then he will become Hostile towards you, although he will not take more than 1 DMG per hit from you, the only Serious Damage that he could take it's the one from being hit with a Snowball.

Take your time, cause it would take some... and be aware that he can despawn if it would take you too long to Defeat him. I don't know the exact time but it's possible to Defeat him alone before he Despawn.

It's also crucial to only Use your Snowball to deal DMG to Velcrond, don't use your Basic Attacks between Snowballs as those will waste your time and would only hit for 1 DMG, deselect him as a target whenever you find that your character is attacking him with weapon and start throwing the Snowball at him.

You can pretty much stand face to face with him, and he wouldn't kill you, just focus on Throwing Snowballs at him.

I advise you to put your Snowballs on your Quick Bar and let's say change your First Skill (The one that you can use 1 Number on your Keyboard) with the Snowball temporarily, that will make your Fight more comfortable, cause all you would need to do is to Aim Snowball at him once, then if it hits, you can just press 1 over and over again to throw another Snowball.

I'm not good at math but you would need somewhere around 280 Snowballs and every Snowball should take him 2500 DMG which should sum up to 700,000 HP he has, that is if you would fight with him alone.

Every player there would be nearby you and Velcrond, but only those who will attack Velcrond as well, will make his Armor buff stack go up by 1x and your Damage will be cut in half.

He can lose stacks when you or other players will go away and stop attacking him for a while, I recommend him fighting him either alone or with your friend, as random people seem to not get the fact that they don't help you that much when they aren't throwing Snowballs.

The whole fight it's like well... more or less from 3 to 5 minutes, so Good Luck!

It's also worh to note that the Quest will be Completed after you Defeat Him without you having to kill those 100 Monsters that Nicholas mentioned, but of course that only counts when you would be able to approach him before that... and taking into account that you would need around 280~ Snowballs to take his HP from 700,000 to 0...

If you happen to find that someone is already fighting with him, you can help, but I'm not sure if your Quest will be done that way as well, whenever I see someone fighting him I help cause I see people fighting with him while and also attacking with their Basic Attack and Skills, and I know for a fact they wouldn't be able to kill him in time that way... so I help them counting that I would be enough of a help for them to suceed anyway.

Anyway whether you Defeat him before or after you kill 100 Frost Monster the Quest should be Completed and the reward should be yours! Go back to Nicholas when you do and take your Chest!

My luck was meh...

[Daily] Snowball Thrower, Stand By!
Notable Info: This Quest is only Available after doing the New Year Bash. Quest

The Nicholas want you to throw some balls... WHOAH...

...SNOWBALLS!

It doesn't sound better than it was... anyway... have some fun and throw some snow all around!
I know that it says that you need to hit opponents but what If I told you, you can just go around and hit all of those nasty Trading Stalls? WELL YOU CAN! forget about your opponents and throwing snow at faces of innocent passersby, just hit some stationary inanimate objects!

Really... those counts... try for youself... you would become next Santa if you would want to find 100 different people... really... no point in wasting time.

I advise you to put your Snowball on your Quick Slot Bar temporarily and change it with your 1 Skill, so that way you would be able to throw Snowball more comfortably while doing the Quest.

To throw the Snowball accurately at the Shopping Stall or well at anything... just move your mouse cursor over the Target then use the Snowball (It's up to you how would you do it, but I would assign it to Hotkey, just like I told you earlier.)

Repeat 100 times... (They're crazy... It's not even about the waste of Snow, but just imagine how much your shoulder would gonna hurt...)

Rewards:
- 390 Gold
- The one out two item rewards that you choose from the Quest
- 60 Holiday Energy
[Daily] Elixirs Are My Thing
 Elixirs Are My Thing.jpg]

Pretty nice and easy task; as all of the things Nicholas wants are easily obtainable in most of the starting areas but also some mid to high areas as well, as the Monsters which drop the required materials are occuring pretty commonly especially nearby the City, and Villages gates.

If you already forgot, you can get those items from Dewdrops and Stock

Wood Chip
15x
Green Leaf
10x
Dew
15x

Wood Chip - is a Common Drop from Stock
Green Lea - is also a Common Drop from Stock but also for a various other Creatures out there in Elenia, moslty Forest Creatures.
Dew - It's a Common Drop from Dewdrop! Those little tiny thieves!

You can also go there

If you want to know to know what else might drop you the required items!

When you're done Collecting, just go back to Nicholas for the Rewards!

[♾️] Gloomy Skies
Notable Info: This Quest is only Available after doing the New Year Bash. Quest

This Quest is requiring you to find and kill Frost Klugs, but most of the time they would find you... as almost majority if not all Snow Festival unique Monsters will be Hostile towards you and other players.

If you have this Quest in your Journal the Drop of the Item is Quaranteed Everytime whenever you're rightful owner to the Monster Drop

You can check all of the Snow Festival unique Monsters here

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3392743565
After you collect 10 or more of Antifreeze Reagent you can go back to Nicholas and ask him for a Recipe: "Frizzter", he will give it to you after you speak to him again and select the Gloomy Skies Quest, there's a dialogue option that you need to press to get it, then it would be end in your Bag in the Crafting Items tab.

Now you just need to find some Alchemical Cauldron and... try your luck... cause unfortunately the success rate of crafting "Frizzter" is only 20%.

The first time I was doing it, I succeeded after 3rd Try, but you may not be as Lucky as me... and this is a Repeatable Quest so you probably would gonna do it more than once.

Rewards:
- 1670 Gold
- Box of Excellent Elixirs
- A Whooping 260 Points of Holiday Energy
[♾️] Frozen in Elenia
 Frozen in Elenia.jpg]

Nicholas asked to collect Hoarfrost that you can gather from collecting Plants and Ores.

You can get 1 Hoarfrost from each Gathering that you do (Plants, Mushrooms, Flower etc.) and every time you would use your Pickaxe to Mine Ores (Iron, Verite, Mythril, etc.)

I suggest to pick and mine every one you would stumble on as 70 pieces is kind a lot...

Rewards:
- 1050 Gold
- 50 Holiday Spirit Points
[♾️] Thinking Big About Gifts
Notable Info: This Quest appear as normal/non repetable/unique Quest even though it's in fact Repetable... I could do it at least 3 times in a day while doing this Guide, it might be that it's Daily but you get 1+ more every day during the Event, or it's in fact Repetable Quest, but Developer made a mistake...

Nicholas Colaus wants you to spread joy but also to do it fast...
I wonder who would want to spread joy while being rushed to do so...
He want you to Deliver 40 Presents to Kids all around Elenia in 30 minutes...
and he wouldn't give you more than 10 Presents at once...

Those Kids could also get snatched by others Joyful Rushers (other players), just before you get to them...

It's managable to do it though even while not going anywhere, as the Kids are also joyfully running around Varlone all around inner and outer ring of the City, if you check the Journal for this Quest you can press it to track every Spawn Point? of Kids, but they're not quaranteed to be there, cause they have tendency to run off nearby and while also being relatively close to that point they could be pretty difficult to catch.

Whenever other player or you... approach them to give a Present they will dissapear for you and others, and you will have to wait a bit for them to spawn again.

I recommend using any Movement Speed Boosts and Bonuses that you have, it's gonna make the whole thing manageable, faster and less tedious as you would be running at a faster speed and doing the task at a faster rate.

There's a lot of Ways that you can boost your Movement Speed, be it your Class Skills, Equipment, Consumables (Grass Chewing Gum +20% Running Speed for 15min.) and Mounts.

It's possible to do this task in less than 20 minutes (16-17 to be exact) while running all around Varlone, but it's only seems to be possible when no other players are also running there, otherwise it might be difficult or even not possible to get it in time, as you would be snatching Kids from each other constantly.

You can also check how much present you already delivered and how much time you have left by looking at your Status Bar.

but I'm talking about this one:

The upper number is the number of the Gifts you still need to deliver, and the lower number is the time left (in minutes), so you don't need to focus on keeping track of it, just focus on spotting Kids and traversing fast!

Rewards:
- 260 Gold
- 40 Holiday Energy Points
- Snow Fireworks (1 per delivered Present to a Kid, 40 Total per successful Quest, they goes straight into inventory whenever you deliver a Present)
Maiden Lola
She has a lot of Quests to do from the previous years of Events, and which you can do if you missed playing those!

Requirements: 2022 Christmas Ornaments

2022 Christmas dexorations: Olaf

Reward: Olaf (Pet)

2020 Ornaments: Snow Crock

Requirements: 2020 Christmas Ornaments

Reward: Snow Croc (Mount)

30 ornaments: Gift Box

I got it once, and the rewards was... well... dissapointing...

- 4x Snowballs
and
- 4x Holiday Cake

and you can buy it again and again, as it's repeatable!

Amusement Ride Master
Not far from the Christmas Tree at the Center, there's also Amusement Ride Master (NPC), who will have to offer some repeatable (Dailies in this case) Winter Games Quests.
[Daily] Winter Games: Snowballs

After accepting this Quest you will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to throw Snowball at both Kerroc and Snowman, which is not that hard.

You can find Kerroc's at the lower part of the Island, and as of Snowman you can hit any you would stumble upon while you're on your way to Kerroc's such like Winter Guardian, Unusual Snowman or Snow Lady.

You should also keep in mind though that you have to go back to Amusement Ride Master as well, before timer runs out.

The Reward for this Quest is a Gift Box which could contain a lot of different Rewards, but mostly and often nothing spectacular sadly...

- ???
- ???
[Daily] Winter Games: Unusual Snowman

Unusual Snowman is actually a „Snow Lady” and she is indiscernible from other Snowmans around here, apart from her name, which would literally a „Snow Lady”, just look around, there's Snowmans everywhere, she could be running somewhere even as close as your current position or roaming somewhere nearby, and if not, just look for her all around, you will eventually stumble upon her.

Rewards:
- Gift Box

I feel the same, you can optimize a lot of the things in terms of Daily/Repetable Quests but it's still an effor that doesn't seem fit to the Progress/Rewards you get.
True Jan 8 @ 12:18pm
Jesus this is so tedious, the rewards dont seem to reflect how much effort it takes for the quests
yea, it was the level issue, also got lost with the "main" quests but its fine now. Thanks!
NiyuMiya  [author] Jan 4 @ 10:53am
I added some additional Info about this to maybe Help those after you and me, but maybe I will try to do recheck all of this at some later date.

Thank you for the comment! It could help others as well.

I'm on Pyrros (EU).
Cope Jan 4 @ 10:51am
Well they just appeared on ''available'' list though werent there before. It says they are for level 19 so i guess that wwas the issue. They appeared once i hit level 14. Thank you for all your work on the guide by the way, which server are you on?
NiyuMiya  [author] Jan 4 @ 10:40am
I don't think you're "Too Late" for the Event, I'm playing pretty slow and I started it pretty late as well.
NiyuMiya  [author] Jan 4 @ 10:39am
What other Quests do you have?

Do you have any other Quests like the ones from Master of Ornaments? Do those if yes.

The whole chain is between a lot of different NPC's

When the Quest Start from Nicholas then it's jumping from Island Keeper to Master of Ornaments and other Side Quest NPC.

I would check if you have any Quests from Master of Ornaments.
Cope Jan 4 @ 10:16am
Since guy before me who posted yesterday also couldnt start it i assume we are just too late for the event
Cope Jan 4 @ 10:07am
I also cant start the chain. I talked with Nicholas and have the ''dancing quest'' which as i understand is last in chain. I get various quests in the island like hitting snowballs and gathering invitations, but island keeper doesnt have any quests for me. :/

Im level 11 though, so maybe i need to progress the main story or lvl further,.

As far as I know, you can't get the Scales at this moment if you didn't played in Royal Quest before it came to Steam, Scales were Rewards from Past Events, and Players who played the Royal Quest outside of Steam on B.A.S.E Platform could get them.

If you just started playing on Steam Global Re-Launch then it's impossible to get them.

I think they may be available to get through the year to come by playing and participating in other Events like Snow Festival, and then when the Snow Festival comes again in December you might have some if not all the Scales required
