How to change the game language from Chinese to English.

Sometimes (particularly on the Steam Deck) the game will fail to recognize the system language and default to Chinese. To change the language to English, do the following:




On the main screen, you'll see 5 or 6 buttons (depending on whether you have a save file to continue from). If you count from the bottom, Settings is the third option.




Go to the third tab, then click the arrow next to the first option. The text in the option will change to "English". To apply the changes, click the red button at the bottom.

I'm having trouble with some of the later content being in Chinese. I don't know if it's part of what the next update will fix or if it's something on my end. I've been using Google Translate on my phone. It's not always easy to do because the text becomes too small to read. So end up having to take a pic and blow it up and then move on to the next one. It becomes a little time consuming.

I did this and it didn't work. I changed to English but it didn't hold. In order to get off that screen I had to press the top button and it didn't start in English. Help please.
