How to solve the "craft maniac" achievement glitch

for anyone unable to unlock the achievement or complete the bomb challenges in game due to this glitch

follow these easy steps

Basically, there is a glitch with the in-game counter when it comes to dealing with bombs, if you're trying to get this achievement last like i did none of the bombs you craft will count so what you need to do is:

1- load sequence 3 memory 5
2- go to a crafting table and craft 1 bomb of each type (lethal, tactical & diversion)
3- still in the crafting table chose the "add bomb" option to add 1 more bomb in each pouch (you should have 6 bombs in total)
4- exit the crafting table & craft 1 bomb of each type using the weapon wheel
5- go back into the crafting table and disassemble all your bombs, repeat all steps until you unlock the achievement. crafting different bomb types is recommended but I'm not 100% sure

the same goes for the bomb challenges, do them in sequence 3 memory 5 and they will unlock, i could not unlock the challenge for crafting all shell types and crafting all effects unless i was in this sequence.

tip: you can buy all the bomb ingredients from Piri Reis

EDIT: in case it was not clear, when repeating the steps you must craft bombs of different types

27/04/25 Can confirm still works just fine. If on mouse/keyboard, use arrows to craft bombs when Q'ing, it's way faster

can confirm it still works. this achievement was the bane of my existence and for whatever reason, it had to be this level to do it on for the achievement to pop. It's nothing to do with bombs but the author is a life saver,

I can confirm that comment of Frank 7 Jan @ 8:18pm works. You need to precisely follow all the steps. steps like wait a second after using crafting branch and also important is being fast while adding bombs in weapon wheel. If you're struggling with keyboard/mouse, i'd suggest using arrow keys to quickly select a bomb slot and then pressing space very quickly and letting go of "q". This worked like a charm!

I tried Frank's thing from December as well as what's in the guide but I still didn't get the bomb challenge to craft each effect type

Finally got it to pop. I was already doing it Frank's way, but maybe I wasn't fast enough in the quick craft menu or something. Didn't pop the first time after watching the video, but got it after trying it again.
