Introduction:

Achievement Breakdown: (28)
Story Related: (9)
Challenges: (3)
Miscellaneous: (16)

Hellsinger is an amazing rhythm game where you slaughter hundreds of demons while listening to heavy metal music. For 100% achievements, you need to complete the entire storyline plus all the Torments (challenge missions). There are no difficulty-related achievements so you can complete this game on the easiest difficulty if you're having trouble, but the harder the difficulty, the more enjoyment you get out of it.

There are no DLC achievements.
Long Term Achievements

Achievements: 12/28

These achievements don't necessarily need to be completed in any specific level. Keep them in mind as you progress through the game so that you can get them in tandem with other story achievements.

NOTE:
There are no difficulty-related achievements. As such, if you're having trouble, you can set the difficulty to the easiest.

In addition, if you're struggling with remaining "on-beat", there is an accessibility setting "Always On Beat" found in the Accessibility > Rhythm Assist Mode section. Once enabled, all actions you perform "off-beat" will be counted as "on-beat".

Achievements can still be obtained while this setting is on.

Achievement #1:
This Pounding Heart
Reach Hit Streak: 10.

    Achievement #2:
    This Pounding Heart II
    Reach Hit Streak: 20.

      Achievement #3:
      This Pounding Heart III
      Reach Hit Streak: 35.

        Achievement #4:
        This Pounding Heart: IV
        Reach Hit Streak: 50.

You should get these achievements naturally by playing the game. Rely on the visual arrow indicators to help remain "on-beat" as it becomes difficult to hear the audio queues when the guitar and vocals come in.

          Achievement #5:
          Highway to Hell
          Got 666 kills (game total)

You should get this achievement naturally by playing the game. This is generally obtained while in the Stygia or Yhelm levels depending on whether you do the Torments.

            Achievement #6:
            Queen of the Underworld
            Killed 50 Behemoths

This should come naturally during your playthrough. The Torments especially like to spawn in Behemoths (tall bipedal monster carrying a sword) so this should be no problem to grab.

              Achievement #7:
              The Empress
Killed 25 enemies while maintaining a Hit Streak.

You should get this achievement naturally. Raise your hit streak by attacking "on-beat" and don't get hit (this resets your streak).

                Achievement #8:
                Soaring in the Deep
Soard (Dash + jump) 100 times

This is easy to miss if you didn't realize this was an actual ability. As the description states, dash and then immediately press jump to launch yourself a great distance. This can easily be obtained in a single level if you spam it. Although not required, I recommend dashing "on-beat".

                  Achievement #9:
                  Pazifist
Cleared a Hell using only Paz.

As straightforward as it sounds. From the beginning of any mission, you need to use Paz (skull) to kill all the enemies. The achievement pops upon defeating the boss. I recommend using the Easy difficulty on the Voke level. Paz is pretty weak so it'll take a while to whittle down the boss.

                    Achievement #10:
                    The Sword is Sharper
Killed a Judge's Aspect with Terminus.

The killing blow is all that matters for this achievement. You're allowed to deal damage to the boss in any other way so long as the final hit is with the sword.

                      Achievement #11:
                      Not Shaken, Nor Stirred
Never hit off-beat in a Hell.

This is a very tricky achievement to get. I recommend completing the rest of the game before coming back to attempt this. I also suggest using the easiest difficulty on the Voke level, allowing you to focus on the beat rather than anything else.
You must never attack "off-beat". You're allowed to miss reloads, but be very careful that when you decide to attack, it MUST be "on-beat. I find the Vulcan crossbow to be the best item for this achievement because not only does it have very high AOE damage, but it's also very obvious when you hit "off-beat" (there isn't any big blue explosion) signaling that you need to restart the run.

If you're struggling with this achievement, take a look at the "NOTE" at the beginning of this section.

                        Achievement #12:
                        Who Wants to Live Forever
                        Died 20 times.

This is probably the last achievement you'll get depending on the difficulty you used during your playthrough. You can grind this out by selecting the easiest difficulty, entering a torment, and allowing the monsters to kill you. Reserructing and then dying again counts as another death.
                          Story #1: Voke

                          Achievements: 15/28

                          Hell Run:
As this is probably your first time playing the game, the best tip is to do all your actions "on-beat". This is easily identifiable when the white arrows flying in from the left/right sides match up with the greyed-out arrow permanently on your HUD. You have a little bit of leeway with what counts as a "successful" beat-match but try your best to land the arrows perfectly overtop one another. Your actions become more powerful if you perform them "on-beat" and it also increases your hit streak.

                          Actions include:
                          • Shooting/Attacking
                          • Reloading
                          • Dash-attack (shift)

The music can only kinda help you stay "on-beat" while you're on lower multipliers. Once the guitar and vocals came in, I found it very difficult to rely on the audio and instead had to rely purely on the visual arrows.

Persephone (shotgun) will be unlocked in this level which is the first of 4 weapons (ignoring the two you get from the tutorial) needed to get the "Material Girl" achievement later on. I highly recommend sticking with long-range weapons for this entire game. Later on, mobs will have nukes that are very difficult to avoid if you stay close to them (so avoid melee where possible).

                          Achievement #13:
                          Breaking The Law
Destroyed the Red Judge aspect in Voke.

                            NOTE:
The beat speeds up when you start fighting the boss. This is generally true for all boss fights.

After killing the boss, the "Breaking the Law" achievement will pop.

                            Torment Run:
                            Achievement #14:
                            Heavy Metal Is the Law
                            Completed a Torment.

                              Achievement #15:
                              Three of Pentacles
Achieved the top result in a Torment.

After killing the boss, you will unlock 3 "Torments". A Torment is essentially a small timed challenge level that upon mastering, will grant you a sigil. You "master" a Torment by completing all 3 requirements (generally it's about killing a certain number of monsters in a specific way). A sigil is a passive ability that you can equip during your "loadout" phase before entering a hell.

These two achievements are easiest to grab during the first Torment "Killing with Rythem".

Going forward, complete all Torments with 3-star ratings (thus unlocking the sigils). Not only will this give you more options for your loadouts, but it unlocks the higher-tier Torments in different levels. In addition, it makes progress towards the "No Rest for the Wicket" achievement.
                                Story #2: Stygia

                                Achievements: 17/28

                                Hell Run:
During this level, you will unlock my personal favorite weapons "The Hounds" (pistols). They have an excellent range and a relatively large magazine allowing you to keep sustained fire without missing a beat. On higher streaks, you can one-shot the Marionettes (weakest demons).

The levels here onwards are just slightly longer versions of the first level designed to get you to hone your rhythm.

                                Achievement #16:
If I Can Make It Here
Destroyed the Red Judge aspect in Stygia.

This achievement pops upon defeating the boss.

                                  Torment Run:
                                  Achievement #17:
                                  Piece of My Heart
Died in a Chaos Crystal explosion.

After defeating the boss, you will unlock the "Giant Slayer" Torment. This Torment has 4 crystals on the map, but these aren't enough to kill you alone. Let the monsters attack you until you get to ~10% health and then go around to the crystals, walk up to them, and then blow them up. Upon dying from a crystal explosion, the achievement will pop.
                                    Story #3: Yhelm

                                    Achievements: 19/28

                                    Achievement #18:
                                    Kill Your Demons
                                    Multi-killed 2 enemies.

You unlock Vulcan (crossbow) in this level and this is easily the best AOE/room-clearing weapon in the game. Firing the crossbow "on-beat" will make the arrows have a small blue explosion hurting any enemy caught in the blast. Pile together a few Marionettes and fire "on-beat" to kill them all at once.

                                      Achievement #19:
                                      Smoke on the Water
Destroyed the Red Judge aspect in Yhelm.

Upon killing the boss, the achievement will pop.
                                        Story #4: Incaustis

                                        Achievements: 22/28

                                        Hell Run:
                                        Achievement #20:
                                        Material Girl
                                        Obtained all weapons.

You unlock the Hellcrow (throwing scythes) in this level. They are a very powerful thrown weapon that can pierce through multiple enemies before returning back to you. The benefit is that they don't need to be reloaded but I found it very difficult to keep rhythm with these tools as the boomerang effect kept throwing me off.

This is the last weapon you will get in the game and the achievement unlocks upon picking up the scythes.

In addition, a new annoying enemy is brought in, "Siege Behemoths". They're buffed-up versions of the original "Behemoth" you fought in the first level. Try to keep your distance and be careful of their nukes which have insanely large AOE's. The first hit is unavoidable if you are close to the enemy, but you can jump over the shockwave. This enemy also has long-range attacks, but you can see it prepping the shot before actually firing allowing you to dodge it relatively easily.

                                          Achievement #21:
                                          Rise, Rebel, Resist
Destroyed the Red Judge aspect in Incaustis.

Upon defeating the boss, this achievement will unlock.

                                            Torment Run:
                                            Achievement #22:
                                            The Ferrywoman
Killed 8 enemies in 4 seconds.

I found this easiest to get during the Giantslayer II Torment in this level. The Hellcrow's piercing ability lets you cut down a significant number of mobs, and in this Torment, a crap ton of Marionettes spawn.
Alternatively, try using the Vulcan crossbow in any of the hells and do your best to target large groups of enemies.
                                              Story #5: Gehenna

                                              Achievements: 23/28

There aren't any new weapons introduced in this level. Seraphs (angels) are brought in, but they are pretty easy to kill pistols. Don't get too close to them as they have a AOE nuke that they can and will spam.

                                              Achievement #23:
                                              Dead and Buried
Destroyed the Red Judge aspect in Gehenna.

Upon defeating the boss, this achievement will pop.
                                                Story #6: Nihil

                                                Achievements: 24/28

Nothing of note in this level.

                                                Achievement #24:
                                                Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Destroyed the Red Judge aspect in Nihil.

Upon defeating the boss, this achievement will pop.
                                                  Story #7: Acheron

                                                  Achievements: 27/28

                                                  Hell Run:
There aren't any new weapons or enemies introduced in this level. This is the last fight before the final showdown with the Judge in Sheol.

                                                  Achievement #25:
                                                  Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Destroyed the Red Judge aspect in Nihil.

Upon defeating the boss, this achievement will pop.

                                                    Torment Run:
                                                    Achievement #26:

Killed two Seraphs in one attack.

I found this to be a very difficult task to get naturally during the playthrough. You need to kill two Seraphs (angels) in a single attack. You could try to do this during one of the later hell's via the shotgun's ultimate attack, but because the angels move around quite a bit, it's easier to get this achievement during the Slaughter Master 3 Torment (unlocked after beating Acheron).

Kill the first wave of enemies and try to slaughter 2 enemies to keep the timer high. When the angels spawn in, shoot them each 4 times with your pistols and kill off any other trash mob in the way. Activate your ultimate with the pistols and hope that it can kill two angels in a single volley. This is very hit or miss depending on the AI, and you may need to restart the mission a few times to get this achievement.

Here is an excellent video describing the flow:
                                                      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWPi79PCZVo

                                                      Achievement #27:
                                                      No Rest for the Wicked
                                                      Completed all Torments.

If you've been completing all Torments from previous levels up to this point, then finishing off the last three unlocked from this level will grant you this achievement.
                                                        Story #8: Sheol

                                                        Achievements: 28/28

This is the final fight with the Judge. It will be the most "bullet-hell" style fight yet as the Judge will spawn an ungodly amount of fire projectiles. When fighting the boss, I recommend using the pistols as they let you keep your distance while also having very high accuracy when targeting the Judge's weak points that get progressively smaller as the fight continues.
