FlatOut 4: Total Insanity - 100% Achievements

This is a guide to help you get 100% achievements in FlatOut 4: Total Insanity. You will need one boosting partner for some online achievements, and it should take you around 30 hours for completion.

Career

Road Attack

Description: Beat a Time Trial in Career Mode.
How to Unlock: Complete any Time Trial event in Career Mode. This achievement will unlock naturally as you progress and aim for gold in all events.

It's Just the Beginning

Description: Complete your First Cup in Career Mode.
How to Unlock: Finish all races in any one Cup. This will likely be your first achievement in Career Mode as you work through the initial class (Derby, Classic, or AllStar).

Speed Junkie

Description: Complete Career Mode.
How to Unlock: To unlock this achievement, you need to earn gold in all events across the three Career Mode classes: Derby, Classic, and AllStar. Each class consists of 8 Cups, 4 Time Trials, and 4 Arena Survivors. In total, you will need to earn gold in 48 Cups, 12 Time Trials, and 12 Arena Survivors.
Tips for Completion: For Cups, it is recommended to use Chevrolet cars for better stability or the 1969 Ford if you prefer speed. In Arena Survivors, focus on causing as much destruction as possible to maximize your points. Time Trials can be challenging, so you may find this video (not mine) helpful for tips on achieving gold.

On Podium

Description: Finish consecutively 10 times on the podium in Career Mode.
How to Unlock: To achieve this, you need to finish in the top three positions 10 times in a row. This applies only to Cup races, not Time Trials or Arena events. You can repeat the same easy Cup if needed. If you’re about to finish outside the top three, hit pause and restart the race. I have personally unlocked it using the 1969 Ford of the AllStar class.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSMOKIN'!

Description: Upgrade a car once.
How to Unlock: This will unlock automatically while working toward the Paint Shop or the Hot Rod achievements.

Paint Shop

Description: Get all available skins for a Derby car.
How to Unlock: Each car has five different skins. The first skin is unlocked automatically when you buy the car. Skins 2–4 are unlocked during Career Mode progression, and Skin 5 is unlocked by fully upgrading your car.

Hot Rod

Description: Upgrade an AllStar car to the maximum.
How to Unlock: To unlock this achievement, you need to buy an AllStar car and upgrade all six categories to the maximum in your garage under "Upgrades". Fully upgrading an AllStar car will cost approximately 100,000 cash.

Undercover

Description: Win a race with the maximum car parts on your car.
How to Unlock: After fully upgrading a car for the Hot Rod achievement, simply win any race to unlock this achievement. This will likely happen naturally while grinding for the Jay will be Proud! achievement.

Collector

Description: Buy at least two cars in each class (Derby, Classic, and AllStar).
How to Unlock: This will unlock naturally while aiming for the Jay will be Proud! achievement.

Money Money

Description: Earn 123,456 cash in Career Mode.
How to Unlock: This will unlock naturally while aiming for the Jay will be Proud! achievement. FYI, The total cash earned since starting the game counts, so you don't need this amount at one time.

Jay will be Proud!

Description: Purchase all cars in the game.
How to Unlock: To achieve this, you need to buy all 9 Derby cars, 9 Classic cars, and 11 AllStar cars. You will need approximately 1,000,000 cash to purchase all cars. It is recommended to fully upgrade an AllStar car first to make grinding easier. The easiest way to grind cash is by following this guide (not mine).

FlatOut Mode

Stuntman Newbie

Description: Complete all stunts with Bronze in FlatOut Mode.
How to Unlock: This achievement will come naturally when aiming for the Stuntman Master achievement.

Stuntman Master

Description: Complete all stunts with Gold in FlatOut Mode.
How to Unlock: This will come naturally when aiming for the Lightning Master achievement.
Additional tips: This guide (not mine). helped me a lot with this achievement.

Road to Glory

Description: Complete FlatOut Mode.
How to Unlock: This achievement will come naturally when aiming for the Lightning Master achievement.

Lightning Master

Description: Complete FlatOut Mode with all gold.
How to Unlock: To unlock this trophy, you need to get gold in all 42 events: Stunt, Beat the Bomb, Carnage, Deathmatch, and Keep the Flag. The hardest ones are Beat the Bomb, where you have very limited time to reach the next checkpoint, and the stunts. Here is a helpful video (not mine) for Beat the Bomb.

That Came as a Surprise

Description: Eject your driver 100 times.
How to Unlock: This achievement should come naturally when aiming for the Stuntman Master achievement. If not, simply hop into a stunt game and spam ejecting your driver.

Genius or Lucky?

Description: Make the perfect score in a stunt game.
How to Unlock: This achievement should come naturally when aiming for the Stuntman Master achievement during the Finnish Pins stunt, as this is the only stunt where you need to get the exact score to acquire gold.

Filthy Rich

Description: Score over 100,000 in a race.
How to Unlock: Replay Carnage levels in FlatOut Mode until you achieve the required score. Focus on destroying as many opponents as possible during a single race. Good options include "NW Loop 8B" or "ICP Corrosive Liquids Storage" Carnage races.

Multiplayer

Anti-Social

Description: Slam 100 opponents in online races.
How to Unlock: While grinding the online achievements, try to hit your opponents as much as possible to earn this achievement. This is also a good tip in general, as you gain boost by hitting your opponents.

Destroyer

Description: Destroy 20 opponents online.
How to Unlock: Similar to the Anti-Social achievement, while grinding online achievements, try to destroy your opponents as much as possible. It shouldn't feel grindy, as other miscellaneous achievements also require destroying your enemies.

Welcome to the World!

Description: Win an online race.
How to Unlock: This achievement will come automatically while working toward the Online Master achievement.

The Coyote

Description: Win a race in Assault Mode.
How to Unlock: This achievement will come automatically while working toward the Lay Waste achievement.

Go Catch The Road Runner

Description: Use the 4 weapons in Assault Mode.
How to Unlock: While farming Assault Mode wins, build your nitro and use all four weapons available in the game.

Let's Play a Game

Description: Win 5 races in Assault Mode online.
How to Unlock: This achievement will come automatically while working toward the Lay Waste achievement.

Lay Waste

Description: Win 20 races in Assault Mode online.
How to Unlock: The game’s online community is largely inactive, so finding a boosting partner is highly recommended to achieve this. You can configure the custom game in "Redhook Invitational: Collision Course", with only one round to make things faster.

Online 1st Degree

Description: Win 10 online races.
How to Unlock: This achievement will come automatically while working toward the Online Master achievement.

Online Master

Description: Win 25 online races.
How to Unlock: After completing the Lay Waste achievement, boost 5 more games to complete this achievement.

SurviMinator

Description: Be both Survivor and Eliminator at the same time in 5 Arena Deathmatches.
How to Unlock: This is not exclusive to multiplayer, but it's recommended to grind it with a boosting partner. Play five 1v1 Arena Deathmatches, simply kill your boosting partner and let time run out. Repeat this five times, and the achievement will be yours.

Flag Thief

Description: Recover the flag 10 times in the Keep the Flag mode.
How to Unlock: It's best to grind this achievement with a boosting partner in a 5-minute Keep the Flag match. While doing so, you can also aim to finish the match by unlocking the Devil in 66 Seconds achievement.

Devil in 66 Seconds

Description: Keep the flag for 66 seconds in Keep the Flag mode.
How to Unlock: This achievement is nearly impossible in solo mode with bots. Grinding it with a boosting partner in a 5-minute Keep the Flag match is highly recommended.

Miscellaneous

No Speed Limits

Description: Burn nitro continuously for at least 5 seconds in a race.
How to Unlock: This can be done alongside the Reload! achievement. Completely fill your boost bar, then on a long straight stretch, hold the boost until your bar is empty.

Reload!

Description: Empty all your nitro for the first time, from full to empty.
How to Unlock: This can be unlocked while attempting No Speed Limits.

Sweetheart

Description: Win a race without crashing (100% Full HP).
How to Unlock: Start a quick race with damage disabled, finish the race without collisions, and the achievement is yours.

Trigger Happy

Description: Hit 3 cars with the same activated weapon in Assault Mode.
How to Unlock: This is easiest at the beginning of an Assault Mode race. Wait until you have enough boost to activate Shockwave, and look for a group of three or more opponents driving close together. Activate Shockwave while near them to unlock the achievement.

FlatOut Way

Description: Kill three opponents in the same race (offline).
How to Unlock: Start a Quick Play race on "Redhook Invitational: Collision Course" with 10 laps and a strong car. Drive in the wrong direction and hit opponents head-on at full speed until you achieve three kills in one race.

Straightforward

Ready for Junkyard

Description: Try again... you can do it! (Destroy your car for the first time)
How to Unlock: This will happen naturally the first time you wreck your car.

AirForce One

Description: Jump at least 100m long with your car.
How to Unlock: This will happen naturally during Career Mode as there are plenty of opportunities for long jumps.

Baby Hamster

Description: Complete your first race in Arena Mode.
How to Unlock: This achievement will unlock automatically when you finish your first Arena match.

Class Winner

Description: Win a race in Derby, Classic, and AllStar classes.
How to Unlock: This achievement will come automatically as you progress through Career Mode.

Hamster King

Description: Win 15 races in Arena Mode.
How to Unlock: This should happen naturally through Career and FlatOut Mode progression.

I'm so Sorry …

Description: Destroy your first opponent (offline).
How to Unlock: This will happen naturally the first time you destroy an opponent, which is straightforward to achieve in Arena mode.

Wreck-Fest

Description: Wreck 5 vehicles during a round in Arena Mode.
How to Unlock: This may happen naturally during Career or FlatOut Mode. Use a strong car, keep hitting opponents, and aim to wreck at least five of them in one round.

...But I Love it!

Description: Destroy 50 opponents (offline).
How to Unlock: This should happen naturally while playing Career and FlatOut Mode. If needed, farm this achievement in Arena Mode by selecting a strong car and focusing on destroying opponents.

Gold Crusher

Description: Destroy 2000 breakables.
How to Unlock: This will happen naturally as you grind through the game. Hitting breakables is also a good practice, as it fills up your nitro bar.

Crash Forest, Crash!

Description: Drive a total distance of 500 miles.
How to Unlock: This will come naturally while grinding through the game.
