Beskrivelse
Warhammer Fantasy Universalis (WFU) is a total overhaul mod that brings the immersive world of Warhammer Fantasy into the Europa Universalis IV engine. Featuring hundreds of custom nations, thousands of provinces, and all-new mechanics, WFU brings the rich lore and epic conflicts of Warhammer to life. Warhammer Fantasy Universalis is immediately accessible by any EU4 player. No submenus and layers of custom UI - just jump right into the action!

New to the mod and don't know who to play?

- Want a standard Game? Play Khemri and unite the tomb kings. Arkhan presents unique challenges and unique rewards. Full Mission Tree.

- Want a defensive, economic heavy game? Play Karaz a Karak and push back the skaven and orcs while industrializing. Full Mission Tree.

- Want to push back Chaos? Play Kislev, and carefully manage your chaos corruption while pushing back the tide. Full Mission Tree.

- Like the HRE? Play Reikland and protect the empire. For a more challenging game of subterfuge and diplomacy, try Sylvania and turn the Empire Vampiric. Full Mission Tree.

- Love War? Play an orc faction, like the Red Fangs. They need to stay at war to survive, so you might be at war the whole game. Full Mission Tree.

- Want to Subjugate the World in Smoke and Chain? Play as Zharr-Naggrund and overcome a difficult start to conquer an unruly and disorganized world. Full Mission Tree.

- Want to play backstabbing vermin Catholics? Play the Skaven and raid your enemies! Full Mission Tree.

- Want to Play Tall? Play Athel Loren, they can go a whole game without conquering land and still be a great power, with the potential to become an end game crisis. Full Mission Tree.

- Want to Dominate Trade and Get Fat? Play as an Ogre Kingdom, unite your people, and extort all trade around you. Full Mission Tree.

- Love cavalry, vassal play, and want to evolve out of a Medieval state into a modern state? Play Couronne, or any other Bretonnian nation. [/i]Full Mission Tree[/i]

- Want a Chill Game? Play Eatine and unite the Elves to become a naval and trade powerhouse.

- Like Managing Vassal Diplomacy? Play the Sea Court (or the Celestial Regency for a challenge).

- Want to play the underdog who becomes the Endgame Crisis? Play as one of the Norscan (Scandinavian) nations.

- Like a Power Fantasy? Play Naggaroth and conquer the High Elves.

Mission Trees
- Big Mission Tree Factions are: Empire, Wood Elves, Dwarves, Skaven, Bretonnia, Tomb Kings, Kislev, Greenskins, Chaos Dwarves, Ogres, the Barrow Legion, and Cathay. *Everybody else* has mission trees based on culture and religion along side more generic missions, but some factions have bigger mission trees than others.

Core Features include

- Legendary artifacts to claim, such as Ghal Maraz or the Ring of Carstein.
- Faction-specific gameplay, like turning the Empire vampiric through intrigue and conquest.
- Racial mechanics, from terrain synergies and unique units to distinct bonuses and penalties.
- Grand quests, such as resurrecting Nagash by gathering Necromantic talismans.
- Skaven antics, including stealing Grey Seers and ravaging rival lands.
- Cathayan challenges, whether uniting the warring dominions as Emperor or seizing power as a minor faction.
- Devastating raids, where you can destroy enemy development and claim what is rightfully yours.
- Unique Modifiers and Events for all factions, from raising the dead to colonizing ruined cities.
- Unique Mechanics for all religions, from subjugating others as Hashut to casting rituals as vampires.
- Fall to chaos or vampirism, and embrace the unique benefits and penalties.
- Resurrect Nagash by collecting legendary artifacts, or Become the Everchosen in an apocalyptic endgame where Chaos corruption spreads.
- Go on a Grail Quest as a Bretonnian (and maybe even take home the fabled Chalice), or industrialize your nation as a Chaos Dwarf.

And much more!

The big 4 skaven leaders all start with immortal rulers but the immortal rulers can still die.

What might be a good middle ground is to have a pop up at the beginning of the game to set the difficulty of the everchosen, with one being as they are now, one being slightly weaker (not getting tech boosts or something) and one being slightly stronger (actually giving them artillery, some discipline buffs, some army professionalism, improving their combat width (that'd be a huge boon to them I think) etc) or more levels if you're feeling so inclined.

I understand they are super scary but coalitions in base game are far more terrifying than this alleged existential threat to the entire world imo and I'd like to see it a bit stronger personally

I do just want to step in on the Everchosen debate, if anything I want them to be buffed. Sure they get a metric ton of infantry and manpower but combat width is a thing, you can roll up with 35k infantry and an equal amount of artillery with decent military quality from playing the game for about 150 years and easilly inflict 10:1 casualties on them. By the time they show up, you're rocking at least 200k troops yourself from expanding and being a warmonger, plus having taken good ideas and increasing your professionalism. Every major player in the game right now gets increased discipline from a few places while the everchosen gets none. Sure he has tons and tons of troops and tons of supply limit but that supply limit increase is a boon and a bane, you as the player can finally run your combined doomstack armies instead of smaller squads to minimize attrition.

first of all you're doing an incredible thing with this mod and your transparency and frequency of updates along with it's quality, now the wau eu4 works is you have to convert a culture to your religion and then after 10 years or more depending on rebellions you have to assimilate it, this reflects cultural diffusion in eu4, but in warhammer it's weird because orks demons and skaven can join a dwarfs government while being chaotic, and you have to convert a an ork population to your relgion which just wouldn't happen in 40k, and then after a decade they agree to get exterminated. what you could do is a decison to wipe out a hostile population in which you fight a rebel army and after that army is dead that province is instantly converted to your culture and religion.

@Shadow Dragon - I’m going to weaken the Everchosen in the next patch.

@Indigo Knights - Thank you! One of the main design philosophies is to keep it super accessible for vanilla players. A new world with new flavor and some new mechanics, but it shouldn’t be overwhelming with menus within menus.

@GregBugatti - Weekly updates are coming back soon! I was in Hawaii, but we’ll have one by the end of the week.

@Benobi - I don’t have the skill to do 3d models, but if a dev joins the team who does then absolutely.

@Swordwrath - Chaos Dwarves can only be everchosen if they switch to a different Chaos Religion. The monument use thing is 1:1 with harmonization, but actually I could change those monuments so you can use them. I’ll do that. Thanks for calling out the slave thing, I’ll fix that. I love the idea of calming the title of Everchosen after it spawn, I’ll look into that. The “Subjugated Lizardmen” is from the Hashut subjugation mechanic - you subjugated the Lizardmen and Ogre denominations.

@Hohenzollern - Thanks for all the praise! I’m going to weaken the everchosen in the next patch, but people do beat him. Come check out our discord for tips!

@Juhno - Great call, I’ll fix the password ogre missions

Are you even supposed to stop the Chaos invasion? I mean they have unlimited manpower, armies, generals, money, buffs and core provinces they occupy. I get that´s the lore of the world, but from a gameplay perspective?
The Eternal Herald 3. mai kl. 14.31
soooo only the nations of the description have a MT or did someone else got one since then?
