Foreword

Ein herzliches Willkommen to the ANTONBLAST Collectibles / Hints Guide! This game has got some junk to find, so let’s get right to it! This guide is aimed at giving you hints to where said junk is hidden, not outright revealing their location. That’d be boring.

Also, do your required reading and beat the game first, or at the very least complete a level before looking at the hints.

FULL SPOILER WARNING FOR THE ENTIRE GAME!
What is there to find?
Every level has 4 main collectibles that are of interest, which are as following:

Collectible
Info
SPIRIT
This one’s a freebie, as it’s unmistakably placed in the level and outright required to beat the game. Still required for 100% which is why it’s mentioned here.
JUNK
Annie left her junk lying around. That isn’t very nice. Gotta get to it and pick it up now.
SPRAY CAN
Lead-infused paint for these two bastards to cake themselves in. Disgusting.
TAPE
Brulo’s long lost tapes with all sorts of funky tunes. They smell weird, and can be listened to in the designated cassete room in his casino.

This guide is everso changing. Should you be using these tips, and feel like they are too weirdly worded, or think they could do with a bit of a better description, feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments! With that said, let's fire away!
BOILER CITY
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
That apartment in the intro looked kinda nice. Maybe there’s a way to get back to it?

Anton forgot his keys so you’ll have to go through the window. You need something that’ll launch you into it.

Uncovering the way to jump back in there requires slamming your literal head into it.
SPRAY CAN
Roll it back. Bowl the track.

It’s called Anton”Blast”. Something’s gotta blow up first.

Getting into a ball may seem not as obvious at first. See if you can find a steep slope to use the ball rolling transformation.
TAPE
Some paths open only once the walls start coming down. Brulo blocks change once the countdown starts.

Why not go dumpster diving one last time before this place explodes?

Did you make that jump down in the sewers? Don’t feel bad if you didn’t, but you probably couldn’t do much down there with those detonator crates blocking the way.
SLOWROAST SEWER
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
An ominous looking door that’s just sitting there - with no obvious way to enter - sure looks suspicious!

That platform is for more than just avoiding electrocution.

Getting to this door will require some brute force…
SPRAY CAN
This shark is INCREDIBLE! It can Break Through Walls!

Look for a weighty wall out of reach.

You’re also gonna need to time this one right… or get really lucky if you miss the platform.
TAPE
This one’s in sight during normal progression. Use some SPEED and some expert clutch timing to gain the height to reach it!

If you break the bricks and miss it, you’re cooked. Restart from the checkpoint and have another go at it!
CINNAMON SPRINGS
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
These mountains have so many nooks and crannies that are so tempting to squeeze through.

Whatever dweeb was here before you decided to block some of them off with really crappy wood.

You might miss it if you’re busy trying to keep your balance on those tiny platforms!
SPRAY CAN
Who the hell puts tornado blocks in a vertical section of the level?

Take that tornado for a spin somewhere else. Some precise platforming will be needed, but you’ll get it for sure, soldier!
TAPE
The construction work in this place is shoddy, but at least they were nice enough to place all these convenient steep slopes in the corners.

That dopey seal is in the way, again!

You can jump while in the ball transformation.
BOMB CANDY MINES
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
You can’t pick these bombs up. There are other ways to send them flying that don’t involve swinging a large metal object into them.

Get that bomb over the gap with a good placed slide. Then, prepare for a thrill.
SPRAY CAN
That spray can sure is tempting! Too bad a bomb wall is in the way, and that crab isn’t gonna help you.

If at first you don’t succeed, run around the rest of the level until you can backtrack.

Take the bomb transformation to where it isn’t meant to be.
TAPE
This one is placed pretty much in the open. You should be able to find it somewhere within the first few rooms of the level.

Hammer vault on the color brick walls on the ledge, that will make it guaranteed to reach the other side.
THE BIG BATH
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
There’s a synchronized swimming session being held behind that door. Too bad it’s blocked off…

That ceiling is too hard to brute force your way in with your hammer. Didn’t you destroy these heavy weights with something else just now?
SPRAY CAN
It seems that not everything about the room you were in stayed the same after jumping into the mirror. You can use that to enter a room otherwise inaccessible.

Pay attention to what you can and cannot get on top of while inside the room.
TAPE
There’s something uncanny about this place… these walls are restless.

Walls that move drop their secrets with enough persuasion.

The best way to keep your sanity in this place is to run left and right every chance you get. It should help you keep your bearings, or at least find some sick tunes. More specifically, do that in the Changing Rooms.
CONCRETE JUNGLE
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
Go dumpster diving. No, really. Jump down to see what secrets lay down in the jungle.

Wherever this controller is hidden, I’m sure the little pippo’s would have a good sense of where it may be. That’s to say there are a lot of them where the junk is also hidden.

Lodged into a wall as this were some kinda ancient relic. Typical.
SPRAY CAN
Life has many doors, Anton-boy (or Annie-girl, whomever you’re playing as).

If you spend so much time swinging and grinding rails above the jungle floor, you’ll miss everything that’s down below.

Act now! This paint can is only available once the clock starts ticking!
TAPE
That jelly sure sends you flying, huh? Some devious secrets await you.

The spirit really smells foul. You should go backtrack a little after you pick it up.
PINBALL MIRE
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
To the side path we go. The junk is hidden early in the level, before you enter the outhouse with the many pictures of Satan in the background.

Take note of cracks in the ceiling, excluding the outhouses. It’s very easy to miss the visual cue.

The crack can be seen right over a regenerative block.
SPRAY CAN
Sick trick you just pulled there bouncing off the shot pinball! Try it again!

Before getting here, you slammed your head into another 1t weight.

If you entered a room and just saw the Happy Hour Detonator, the entrance to the spraycan challenge room was just hidden in the previous one.
TAPE
It’s like Sonic! You’re rolling around real fast in a ball, and then ya take the higher route before you fall to the lower one!

Don’t go further down the path where you just squashed Danton.
THE MAD MALL
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
A rooftop rampage awaits those who can make a mighty leap.

Hey, why did someone leave their lone empty drinking cup in the shooting gallery?

There is a singular 2-3 tile gap in the ceiling that feels out of reach at first. Once you clear the first yellow room, pay attention in the 2nd room where that gap is.
SPRAY CAN
Finally, something those gremlin dudes in the blue shopping area were not able to steal. Get away, it's MINE!

The entrance to the spray can room is hidden after the first room where you blasted all those goblins for the first time.
TAPE
Getting to that door where the tape is must be nearby. It is not placed outside the red shopping area.

You gotta play ball once more to get to the tape! What did you use before to knock down some pins?
CRIMSON FACTORY
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
Ever wonder how there are no deathpits throughout the entire game unless it’s clearly shown?

Micro demons throwing shade? There is a direct way to get to him! Don’t overthink here, the easiest answer you’re probably thinking of is the right one.

Fall down a pit where you don’t see any green fire.
SPRAY CAN
This factory’s been here a while. Some of the walls are showing their age. It’s not very obvious though. Squint your eyes.

Why not ram your head into some walls? Certainly couldn’t hurt, and it’s fun!

If you saw/found the junk… the can is not too far off.
TAPE
Gross, that jetpack dropped you right into a garbage dump! You should go back and ask for a refund!

It’s hard to climb ladders when you’ve got a jetpack blasting you at high speeds.

If you haven’t gotten the idea of backtracking in your head at this point, I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe you rammed your head into too many brick walls.
THE MYSTERIOUS GLASSHOUSE
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
Hey, look! It’s the trophy that Annie won in a Punch Ball tournament!

Where the junk is, and the path to get to it, is very obvious. It will literally fall into your eye by playing this level normally.

Use a bit of speed to reach the end of this platforming challenge.
SPRAY CAN
Try to feel where the level is trying to guide you towards. Isn’t it odd there are just two piranha platforms going off to the right side?

A well placed hammer vault is needed to reach the piranha platforms to get to the spraycan room. Time your jumps with the piranha platforms that are white.

Sniff out an Angel. That's to say, pay attention to the room names as you enter them.
TAPE
Playing pool is the secret to this one.

Very rude of the developers to just put a very specific form of explosive green boxes in such a way, don’t you think?

The 8-Ball’s gotta go low, low, low, low…
DEVILLED GARDENS
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
That Moontis fella seems like a swell guy, not to mention he’s pretty tall. Wonder is how he gets inside, that room seems pretty small!

“I’m taking a break from jamming after sending the red guy to change the clock, he should know best and not intrude to steal my possessions ad hoc.”.
SPRAY CAN
Thanks for the free party work, now run home, you little jerk!

You must carefully prune with your mech suit on the hedge, otherwise you will scream like a fledge.
TAPE
A cement cannon stands off to the side. Open your eyes, and open them wide.

Prepare for a large slam-dunk, with passing an even heavier chunk.
HELL MANOR
Collectible
Hints
JUNK
As all collectibles are pretty much out in the open, a general tip: you do not have to get every collectible in one level run. Just doing one challenge room at a time, then beating the level, will suffice. Do it again for the other two.
SPRAY CAN
see above
TAPE
Failing here does not require a level restart. Re-enter the room to reset the crates.
That's it!

Thanks for checking in! Hope you had a BLAST hunting!

@The Noble Idiot
Glad it helps, trying to come up with good ones that draw a fine line between nudging you into the right direction, and not outright revealing where it is, was a challenge.

@Duhh
You're partially correct, I was part of a community playtester group alongside the other contributors listed in this guide. Not a dev per se, but we did have access to the game months before release to report oddities and bugs. This guide was prepared to go live as soon as the game came out.
