Optimal detector usage for artifact collection
By Arctic
The Hilka detector has the longest range of any detector. This short guide will explain how to use it in tandem with another detector for optimal artifact collection.

Using the Hilka detector
Keep your Hilka in your hand and your Bear or Veles in your backpack as you run from place to place completing missions. When you pass an anomaly, it may start to beep, which obviously indicates the presence of an artifact. The Hilka has a screen to display your distance from the artifact as a number from 1 to 99. Keep moving around until you can tell the direction of the artifact, then move toward it.
When to switch to the Bear or Veles detector
If you have the Bear detector, switch to it once the Hilka displays "49"
If you have the Veles detector, switch to it once the Hilka displays "59"

Using the Hilka's long-range detection isn't a bad idea when you're hunting a new area, trying to determine what anomaly-rich areas have artifacts and which ones are just environmental death-traps. The extra range makes it less likely that you'll miss an artifact hiding in the middle of a widespread anomaly ground.

Once you know where the artifact spots are in an area, it's just as well to keep your directional detector equipped for return visits. You won't need the Hilka's range when you're looping through known spawn sites, and the time it takes to go into inventory and swap detectors adds up.

If you want to sell stuff for the highest price, then sell them to people who sell guns, so people like Hamster in Zalissya for example. Bar dealers will buy it at a reduced price so dont sell to them. And do not sell your things to Ragman at Rostok unless it is a broken weapon.
