Hey everyone, if you're struggling to unlock the Loner Shooter achievement, this guide is for you.


Before we dive into the achievement, here are a few things you'll need to do:

1) Play normally until you wake up after prologue.

2) Make your way to Zalissya.

3) Go inside the bar and wait for the cutscene to finish. After the cutscene, talk to the bartender again.

4) Ask him for work, and he will give you a mission called "Warlock's Debator." He will ask you to go to a specific location.


5) Once you get there, you'll see some thugs demanding their money from the guy who also owns the Warlock (the bartender).

6) Talk to the thugs, and they will force you to speak with the guy to get the location of his loot. Don't threaten them; just do as they say for now.

7) Go to the right window and talk to the guy. He will tell you about his loot on a nearby water tower (do a 180 if you're facing the window).

8) After climbing the tower, you'll find a bag containing an AR with a scope (you'll need this AR for the achievement later on).

9) Snipe the thugs, then climb down and talk to the guy to finish the mission.

Achievement

After getting the AR and finishing the mission, make your way to the Tech and apply any upgrades you want. If the AR's durability is too low, be sure to clean it.

Next, head to this location:


Place your marker just like I did to ensure you're 75m away from the tower.



Even though the achievement says "No-Scope Peeking," there is a way to use the scope and still unlock it. To make it work, make sure you're at least 80m away.

Now, you need to shoot the guy (see the screenshot below). As soon as you take the shot, quickly lower your scope. Essentially, you’ll be aiming through the scope when you fire, but you'll hit the target while not in ADS (aiming down sights).



This can be a bit tricky, but the key is how far away you are. The farther you are, the more time you'll have to lower your ADS.

Aye, glad it worked for you. Although it might be easier to use the Vintorez, but just like you said, 'late-game missions,' the Vintorez won't be available to anyone who has just started the game. My guide's goal was to help players get the achievement as soon as possible right after starting a new game/save. But thanks for letting me know that, I haven’t gotten the gun yet✌️

Worked for me, though i only went for achievements after completing the game. So i'm playing right before important late game missions. I perfected your method by using the vintorez (which uses way slower ammo overall thus giving more time to lower scope) and going to duty's base and climbing to the very top of their barrack place and firing at the guards looking at the cooling towers
