How to get extra Prismatic Shard for free from the top of the Volcano Dungeon

I’m not sure if someone has posted this method before. Forgive me if it has already been shared.

1. Once you reach the top of the Volcano Dungeon, do not open the treasure chest. Instead, step on the pressure pads to open the gate at floor 0. Then, save your game.

2. The next day, return to the top of the Volcano Dungeon via the gate on floor 0. Right-click the treasure chest (or hold right-click) as you approach it. Make sure to destroy the chest before the message "You have gained a prismatic shard" appears.

3. Now, go to floor 9, then return to floor 10. You will find that the treasure chest has respawned.

You can repeat these steps as many times as you like, and the chest will continue to respawn whenever you need it. Just make sure to follow these steps carefully.

Two tips:

1) It’s a good idea to save your game before opening the treasure chest (Step 1).
2)) If you fail to destroy the treasure chest before the message appears, the chest will no longer respawn. So, be careful! :)
