A Visual Guide to all the items in Mindcop

Greetings, everyone! This is a short and simple guide that explains where to find all 18 items in Mindcop. This is my first every guide- and I've made sure to add as much as I possibly could, including visual guidance and hints, to help you find what you need! All the hints and potential spoilers have been censored for a better experience :)

‎1. Lantern

Can be obtained when you are investigating Rebecca's house. Within her office, investigate the lanterns on the desk... the Mindcop should just snatch one for himself lol.

2. The Note

Can be obtained when you are investigating Rebecca's house. Within her office, just by the office desk, should be a trash can on the ground. Investigate it and the Mindcop should grab it.

3. Rebecca's Keys

Can be obtained when you are investigating Rebecca's house. Within her bedroom, there is a chair holding all sorts of clothing. Investigate it and the Mindcop should grab it.

Where to use keys:

One key of use is for the shed in the back garden of Rebecca's home. Another is for the staff room in the hostel.

4. Camcorder - credits to isaac in the comments!

Rebecca's Keys [3] is required in order to obtain this item.

In the hostel, there is a staff room just to the right of the reception desk that is locked. Using Rebecca's keys, unlock the door and enter the staff room. To the right of the entrance, there is a table with a small plant... examine it and the Mindcop should obtain the item.

5. Game Cartridge

Can be obtained if you are still investigating Rebecca's home. Downstairs, to the left of the yoga mats, should be a pile of boxes you can investigate. Search through them (if you have the time) and you should obtain the cartridge.

Hint:

You can ask Zachory to play the game in Benji's house. You can get the Police Boy achievement for this :D

6. Cat Food - Credits to isaac in the comments!

Can only obtain this from Saturday onwards.

During Saturday, a black cat will appear on the Bombo gift shop, which the Mindcop will try and mindsurf but fails as it runs away. You can ask Olivia about the cat (if you haven't arrested her) and she will provide you with the item.

Hint:

Inside the gift shop, placing the cat food in the bowl allows you to mindsurf the cat.

7. Keys - Credits to random123 in the comments!

Can only be obtained Friday onwards.

Underneath Josh's caravan, investigate the bottom right and the Mindcop should grab it.

8. Bill of Sale

A search warrant for Josh's caravan is required in order to obtain this item.

Can be obtained when searching inside Josh's caravan. Investigate the pile of papers just above the drawer to the left and the Mindcop should grab it.

Hint:

Ask Josh for more info about it.

9. Sean's Fine

A search warrant for Sean and Olivia's house is required in order to obtain this item.

Can be obtained when searching inside Sean and Olivia's home. Head upstairs and go into the bedroom. Once you're inside, investigate the drawers to the very left of the room... the Mindcop should be able to grab it.

10. Adoption Papers - Credits to isaac in the comments!

A search warrant for Robin and Paul's house is required in order to obtain this item.

Can be obtained when searching inside Robin and Paul's home. Head into the bedroom and investigate the large chest to the far left of the room... the Mindcop should grab it.

11. Piece of Glass - Credits to isaac in the comments!

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD FOR FRIDAY ONWARDS.



Can be obtained on Friday - the day of Sean's murder. Investigate his corpse by Bombo... and the Mindcop should be able to find it.

12. Blackmail - credit to isaac in the comments!

A search warrant for Gabe's house is required in order to obtain this item.

Can be obtained whilst searching Gabe's house. Go upstairs and enter the door to the right (Eliot's Bedroom). Investigate the desk in the middle of the room and the Mindcop should acquire the item.

13. White powder

Rebecca's Keys [3] is required to find this item.

After obtaining Rebecca's Keys, head to the back garden and search inside the shed. The Mindcop should be able to find the "white powder" there.

Hint:

Hand this to Marry and she may provide you with results.

14: GPS Tracker

Can be found in the bushes to the right of the "In the Rocks" bar. Investigate it and the Mindcop should get it.

Hint:

You may ask Alex about the item and she will tell you who used it last.

15. Gym Bag

A search warrant for Sean and Olivia's house is required in order to obtain this item.



First Method: Can be found in the main hallway of Sean and Olivia's house. Investigate the black drawers positioned before the living room door... the Mindcop should find a safe behind it. If you have time, break the safe and the Mindcop should be able to obtain it.



Second Method - credit to isaac in the comments: If you are unable to find this before Friday, another way to find this is through Gabe's house using a search warrant. Upstairs, in Gabe's bedroom, investigate the bed and the Mindcop should grab it.

Hint:

Hand this to Marry and she may provide you with results.

16. Hair Tie

Knowledge of the treehouse is required in order to find this item.

Head into the forest and towards the treehouse. Investigate the grounds outside the treehouse and you will find the hair tie on the floor by the pulley mechanism.

17. Twig - Credits to Itz Kronoz in the comments!

Can be obtained when you choose to explore the forest at random from Tuesday onwards. Upon entering the clearing, the only thing you will find is the twig... the Mindcop should grab it.

18. Sean's Fake ID

You cannot obtain this if Sean has been murdered on Friday.

The quickest way I got this item is by heading over to the hostel on Day 1. Head upstairs and interview Adam... (you may also choose to mindsurf him if you want). Then, after that, you should find Sean waiting downstairs by the reception desk. Talk with him... and when he gives his ID, the Mindcop will confiscate it.

An extra note about 15.... If you don't get it at Sean and Olivia's House, you can find it in Gabe's house upstairs in the room by the workshop (Gabe's room) under the bed after the second murder .

10. Adoption Papers

A search warrant for Robin and Paul's house is required in order to obtain this item.
Search the chest at the far end of the bedroom in Robin and Paul's house (Robin won't let you in the room without a warrant).

11. Piece of Glass
Search the body at the second crime scene on Friday.

Hint: Hand this to Marry and she may provide you with results.

12. Blackmail

A search warrant for Gabe's house is required in order to obtain this item.
Search the desk upstairs in Gabe's house in the door on the right (Eliot's room).

04. Camcorder
Search the table by the door (with the planter on it) in the Staff room in the Hostel. You need Rebecca's Keys to get inside.

Hint: You can ask Alex about it and she will tell you what she knows about it.

06. Cat Food
Look at the cat on the roof of the Gift Shop after the second crime scene, then ask Olivia about Black Cat, and she'll give this to you.

Hint: You can use this in the food dish inside the Gift Shop.
