How to get geode in geometry dash 2.2074

for people who want mods in geometry dash but dont know how (pc guide)

1st step (install geometry dash)

install geometry dash, you cannot install mods without geometry dash
just hit the button where my "Stop" button would be and continue the new steam window to install

2nd step (download geode installer)

after installing your geometry dash head on over to geode-sdk.org
after clicking the link hit the funny download button
scroll down a little bit and choose windows
then run the installer

3rd step (installation)

run the .exe on windows and it will say windows protected your PC however its completely safe and open source (i even have geode myself and ill put an image of the button there for me and the UI of it
ingame)

if you would like to proceed with the install of geode hit the more info then run button then it will open up something that says "select your language" then choose your language and hit "OK"


dont worry about the next popup and hit "Next"
then it will show up with a terms of service thing and then click "I Agree"
it will next pop up with check boxes just dont worry about those and hit "Next"
Next it will show up with your directory to geometry dash and hit install then it will start unpacking the files into your geometry dash and you just wait.


after that check your bar at the bottom and click the windows defender icon then hit yes or no (either worked for me when i installed it but hit yes if you wanna be safe)
then once its done installing hit "Finish" then the installer should close.

step 4 (finishing up)

after you've finally installed your thing and it didn't error then boot up geometry dash and look at the bar on the bottom then click on it.
if you would like to download a mod look at the area a little above the middle and you will see 5 buttons, click on "Download" and click on "Get" on any mod then click "install" on the left and restart your game.
IF THE GAME UPDATES YOU WILL HAVE TO GET A NEW VERSION OF GEODE AND REDO THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
if you would like mod menus there are some good ones like "GDH" "QOLMod" "Prism Menu" and "Mega Hack" <(paid menu)

if your installation errored in the process go into the geode discord which is linked at HTTPS:/geode-sdk.org and ask for help there (i am not a developer just a geometry dash player)

step 5 (idk)

but either way, its extremely hard to get banned like you would have to purposefully try to get banned

it completely depends so long as they arent things like noclip or instant complete if your using things like uncap fps or limiting them or unlocking the icons those are legal and wont get you banned

i have a question. is QOL mod considered cheating even if i dont use any cheat features like ignore spikes? same goes for prism menu
