How To Restore Episode 1 & 2 plus Lost Coast to you're games Library ( Workaround )
By Rich
If your like me and was extremely disappointed to see that Valve have removed standalone versions of the Half-Life 2 Episodes and noticed they are no longer available in your games library this is a work around I did so I can still see them in my library.

PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL NOT FIX THE FACT THAT THESE WILL NOT SHOW ON YOUR PUBLIC PROFILE OR DISPLAY ACHIEVEMENTS ECT.

Creating Non Steam Game and Adding Custom Artwork
Step 1: Download the Custom Art files from here:

Half-Life 2: Episode One : https://www.steamgriddb.com/game/8111
Half-Life 2: Episode Two : https://www.steamgriddb.com/game/9803
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast : https://www.steamgriddb.com/game/6190

Step 2: Click the plus for add a Game and select "Add a Non-Steam Game"

Step 3: Select any installed application and click "Add Selected Programme" for me it was 7-Zip

Step 4: Right click the game and go to "Manage" then "Add Custom Art work". Add files for the Thumbnail - banner, Background and Logo.

Step 5: Right click the game again and rename to respective titles ie "Half-Life 2: Episode One" , "Half-Life 2: Episode Two" and "Half-Life 2: Lost Coast "

Step 6: Change path to your Half-Life 2 installation Location ie "\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2.exe

Step 7: Curse at Valve, crack open your favourite beverage and bask in the glow of your monitor as you admire the Artwork.

If done correctly each one will open Half-Life 2 when you launch from the thumbnails.

Repeat these steps for each game you want to re-add!

Unless I'm missing something it only shows the games (In the tools section) in the drop down list on the left if you enable the tools checkbox.

The tools checkbox wont show them as part of the "All Games" Section.

Or, you know, just click the 'tools' checkbox in your game library, which reveals the games.
