What is this?
These four maps + assets are a recreation of the Resident Evil 2 "Leon A" scenario. (The original game, not the remake, by the way.) It plays out very similarly to the original game in terms of progression, with changes here and there to make it work better in the Half-Life 2 engine.

How do I play this?
  1. Subscribe to this item, wait for Steam to grab the files
  2. Open the game
  3. On the main menu, select "Extras > Workshop"
  4. Double click the RE2 icon

Do you need to play the original game to beat this?
No, but it does help a lot. If you don't know what to do, explore and try pressing +Use on everything. And pay attention to what key items you pick up.

I test-played these four maps before making this public and was able to complete it with no issues.

My glass textures have purple error textures in them?
Try disabling mat_specular (put "mat_specular 0" in console).

What's with the tag spam?
Wasn't my intention. The game, when uploading custom content, seems to automatically take note of the assets that are modified and tags it accordingly. So for example, manhack is tagged because the manhack model is replaced with a custom one. I'd rather not have a bunch of tags on this when it's ultimately just a custom campaign, but I see no option to change it.

There's something going on with the smg specifically since it has its own weapon script, it's strange. For me there's no custom sounds but the default sounds still play. If you have any other content mods enabled that edit the smg script it might cause issues like silent gunfire.

I found the issue, it was the star fox krystal mod that was making it crash
