General info

It's a really simple ideal game in your library. I don't sure what anyone needs this guide, but I hope the developers will fulfill their promises and will support this game with new content updates in future (meanwhile not all achievements from Apple Arcade are present in Steam right now).

I will updating the guide in future if devs added something new. Right now it's more just completed structure of walkthrough with all achievements en route.

If you see factual or grammatical errors, write about it in the comments. Thanks for reading!

  • Total achievements: 79
  • Required walkthroughs: around 8 runs minimum for complete storyline
  • Time for completion: ±35 hours
  • Seasonal achievements: None
  • Bugged achievements: None
  • Missable achievements: None
  • Online achievements: None

Before Start - Tacktic and Tips

Let's first figure out who is better for us to play. In fact, it all depends on your playstyle, but I will write my opinion:

S-tier
Michelangelo - a very weak but really fast attacks; huge range, while affecting all enemies in this area; the best ability for hitting a huge area, and a good standard tool for additional damage and micro stun enemies. Multi-Hit chance (or just double damage) - really good passive skill (Inspiration)

You will could upgrade Inspirations in future but not change it.

B-tier
Leonardo - not so fast, but with good damage and range. He has the stupidest ability in game, which can help you dodge an attack or just get under it. At the same time Inspiration give you +1 charge of useless ability... Meh... Master strike is better but it can not compensate it. The standard tool is shurikens - just okaaaay.

A-tier
Raphael - a very strong attack, but on a critically small range, but multiple chance crits. Also has not the best ability, which is focused on really close target, but together with the standard tool allows you to quickly clear rooms of small enemies. Inspirations are fully focused on Critical Damage.

E-tier
Donatello - the worst character in the game. Capable of only getting punched in the face in every room, can heal it back by his Inspiration. He has not the worst damage and attack range, ability is about the same as Michelangelo, but with a smaller area. Standard tool is a shield that blocks any damage for a short time. But why he's the worst? Because after Dash attack take so much time and can be targeted in wrong direction (not at enemy at all by bugs with auto targeting)

You can change your turtle before the start of run in shelter. Anyway you will must play for all 4 turtles to receive a resources from bosses for have access for upgrading some skills.

If you're want to play with a friend, it is better to limit to completing achievements in two, because when playing in three or four players, the enemy health multiplier becomes inadequately large, and you cannot revive an ally in the arena only after survivors clear the room. IMO the easiest way to unlock all the achievements is solo play.

Back to the mechanics. Because TMNT is a roguelike now, from the start focus on farming in-game currency to level up characters between runs for faster unlock all achievement.

There are main 2 currencies:
-dragon coins are immediately available
-dreamer coins will open after several death

The main currency is dragon coins, because for it you will be leveling up characteristics such as health, damage, resistance and revives.

Dreamer coins will be needed to increase the influx of both currencies from bosses, leveling artifacts and increase luck with random at the end of the room.

After this point you're have a target to take so much dragon coins as possible for every run, doesn't matter succeed run or not.

First what you need to upgrade will dash (all 3 lvl), revive (1 is enough, but you can take 2 for more safety), and of course health bar (for early game 10 lvl sounds enough), and of course all what link with pizza and restore health after revive (max all this perks). And only after upgrade all this perks when you can live and take damage with no risk you can starting upgrade all attack skills: attack damage, critical damage, critical chance, dash attack will be main for you (honestly said you can beat Shredder at first time without upgrading any attack perks).

This is only my way for leveling, your can be different - all depend from your style of game and gaming skills.

EarlyGame - First Shredder's execute

And now we can start!

You're can safely skip tutorial - Steam don't have this achievement

First what you unlock after entering at world 1 (Sewers) will:

Home Sweet Home
Enter the Sewers

Every world consist is rooms: usual room (area with usual enemies), merchant room (for buying things for this run), mini-boss room (random but the same rosters in each world) and boss room (the same all time for each world). Complete all 4 worlds you'll complete finish the run.

Leatherhead has one another achievement:

Allow Leatherhead to get a Decakill on Sewer Rats

Leatherhead must kill Big rat (not sure can it be champion-Rat or must be only Boss-Rat) by his attack. Anyway, not attack rats at all just evade them.

Streets boss:

Rockin' the Block
Defeat Rocksteady & Bebop

Focus on shooter. This battle always has 3 stages: 1) Down health bar one of the bosses to 50% 2) Defeat 2 Mouser which blocked the road, you can ignore small Mousers. 3) Defeat the remaining health of the bosses (shooter has first prioritize but be careful about ground trap)

After entering at world 4 (Rooftops):

mini-bosses at Rooftops:

Defeat the Shadow Hand (Purple Ninja with Spear)

Rooftops boss:

Raze the Rooftops
Defeat Shredder

He has 2 stages. The easiest final boss ever in TMNT series.

Of Legend!
Equip a Legendary Turtle Power

You need combine few power-ups from different elements/mastery. You can unlock it randomly at any run. You will most likely open one of these when you successfully reach Shredder.

There is no list anywhere of what powers are combined with what, and I myself have not tracked this. Therefore, if you know some combination - write in the comments, I will add it here.

MidGame - Resources and Portals

After the first victory over Shredder, we can start real farming of resources for leveling. Now Shimmering portals and Gauntlet challenges for bosses are opening for us, which will give us more coins + we will be able to open all the achievements for portals, which we can activate separately until we have not enough power to go through all the portals at once.

There are 2 types of Shimmering portals and to get the first achievement you need just go though one of portal:

Living The Dream
Enter any Shimmering Portal

1st type: Portal of Power of 4 grades which do our enemy more dangerous and give them more HP (works as multiplier)

Ambitious!
Complete a run with Portal of Power active
Driven!
Complete a run with Portal of Greater Power active
Power Hungry!
Complete a run with Portal of Immense Power active
Maniacal!
Complete a run with Portal of Ultimate Power active

There are a few conditions for those portals to spawn:
-can be activated only at first room of every world (which without enemy only with power up);
-if you don't activate first, next portals will not spawn at next worlds;
-for spawn Portal of Greater Power enough activate 1 more Shimmering portal in Sewer, but for spawn next Portals of Power you need to activate every single Shimmering portals in run.

I'm not recommended trying to activate Power Portal 3 and 4 until EndGame phase.

2nd type: gameplay Shimmering portals. From the simplest to the most terrible.

Infestation!
Complete a run with Portal of Mice active (Mousers now explodes after death)
Foot Clan Forever
Complete a run with Portal of the Foot active (Ninja goes stronger)
The One
Complete a run with Portal of Projection active (Enemy's damage area doubled)
Barrier Breaker
Complete a run with Portal of Protection active (Enemies now with sheilds)
Caffeinated
Complete a run with Portal of Pacing active (All enemy's attacks faster)
Storm Chaser
Complete a run with Portal of Storms active (Lightning Bolt deal more damage and beat more often)
Definitely Not Rupert's
Complete a run with Portal of Plundered Pizza active (Healing effect half as much)
Inflated
Complete a run with Portal of Paupers active (Merchant have twice expensive price)
Minimalist
Complete a run with Portal of Scarcity active (Choose between 2 in Merch and after cleaning room)

I'm not recommended trying to activate more than 2-3 Portals until EndGame phase.

After complete run with any of 1 active portal you will earn:

Heart of Dreams
Acquire 1 Astral Heart

And there are some random achievements with friendly Mousers which can arrive at any room except bosses room:

Simple Support
Receive a small care package from April and Metalhead (few small friendly Mousers)
Steady Support
Receive a large care package from April and Metalhead (one Big Mouser)
Super Support
Receive a super care package from April and Metalhead (one Human-Mouser, can arrived after few victories over Shredder)

At this category I can include the rarest achievement in game right now

Self-Sabotage
Get defeated by an allied MOUSER

Sounds easy but there are a nuance: friendly Mousers can't deal damage to player.
And here on help coming a Portal of Mice when Mousers explodes after death (friendly also). You need find and activate this portal in Sewers (if it not spawn - reboot run) and continue play until your friends will spawn at some next room. Second nuance - friendly Mouser must KILL you, not just drop down 1 revive. That's mean what you must not have revives before they will spawned (because you don't have enough time and damage at the same room before your friends alive). And you're must not only have 0 revives but you must have under 15hp at the same time because damage from Mousers explode is tiny at this stage of game. Already sounds not so simple as on start. My video of this achievement opening is below:

EndGame - Punishing of Hard Bosses

Let's return to the Portals. There is a one more type for bosses room - Gauntlet Challenge Portals. Bosses goes more deadly and powerful and many of then have a minions on area or second boss at the same time.
First achievement (as with Shimmering portals) just go through it:

Challenge Accepted
Enter any Gauntlet Challenge Portal

I'm not recommended trying go to world boss portal (only mini-bosses) until EndGame phase.

Gauntlet mini-bosses at Sewers:

Overthrown
Complete Lurking Menace Hard Mode (Big rat)
Pest Control
Complete Mouser Mayhem Hard Mode (Big Mouser)
Lost Cause
Complete Fencing Lessons Hard Mode (One White Ninja)
Blackout
Complete Illumination Hard Mode (One Red Ninja)
Killin' Geng-oleon
Defeat Punks in the Pipes Hard Mode (Two Mutant Toads)

Gauntlet Boss at Sewers:

Displeasured Disposition
Defeat Gauntlet Challenge Leatherhead

Now there will be spawn a Rat-boss and you must beat it first after Leatherhead will emerge back to the arena. This Rat-boss will respawn every time when Leatherhead will dive under and if you defeat it until he still under, one more Rat-boss will respawn. Be careful here.

Gauntlet mini-bosses at Docks:

Protecting Something?
Complete Nightwatch Hard Mode (Human-Mouser)
You Made it Harder?
Complete Bay Bombardiers Hard Mode (Big Mouser-bombardier)
Pressure Relief
Complete Pier Pressure Hard Mode (Big Mousers)
Grudge Match
Complete Dockside Diplomacy Hard Mode (Big Mouser and Human Mouser)
Fire, Fire, Everywhere
Complete Firewatch Hard Mode (Red NInja)

Gauntlet Docks boss:

"Dragon Awaken!"
Defeat Gauntlet Challenge Karai

The hardest Gauntlet Boss (honestly say, as usual ver) After 50% hp Karai will minion two Red ninja. Defeat them as fast as you can. They will respawn 3 time, it depends on Karai hp.

Gauntlet mini-bosses at Streets:

Kaiju?
Complete City At War: Mutant Showdown Hard Mode (Big Rat vs Mousers)
Be Gone!
Complete City At War: Foot Clan Faceoff Hard Mode (2 White Ninja vs Mousers)
StockGen Supremacy
Complete City At War: Power Play Hard Mode (Human-Mouser vs Mousers)
Rasp-tilla Killa'
Defeat Alleyway Punks Hard Mode (Mutant Toads vs Ninja)
City Secured
Complete City At War: Mystic Strike Hard Mode (Red Ninja vs Mousers)

Gauntlet Streets boss:

Fools' Circumference
Defeat Gauntlet Challenge Rocksteady & Bebop

The easest Gauntlet world boss. Only will spawn small Mousers at stage 3 - easy to evade.

Gauntlet mini-bosses at Rooftops:

Astral Asymetry
Defeat the Twin Assassins Hard Mode (Red and Purple Ninja)
DeFooted
Defeat the Ninja Elite Hard Mode (White Ninja with Spear)
Snuffed Out
Defeat the Mystic Council Hard Mode (Red Ninja with Spear)
Tell Your Boss We're Coming
Defeat the Hand of Shadow Hard Mode (Purple Ninja with Spear)

Gauntlet Rooftops boss:

Perfect Power
Defeat Gauntlet Challenge Shredder

Has 1 stage. He will respawn few ninja sometimes and have a few more new attacks. Not the hardest Gauntlet boss (again).

After 5-6 victories over Shredder you will receive War staff artifact which deal on 100% more damage to you from everything but at the same time give you on 100% more coins. After receive this artifact you must upgrade it and equip for every run for faster grinding resources and you'll unlock first achievement with War staff. Gauntlet Challenge not needed.

Make It Harder
Fight a boss with the War staff artifact equipped

And 2 achievements with War staff and Shredder: War staff must be equipped at shelter and not swapped while run. One achievement - just for beating Shredder without any portals, other one - with activated all Shimmering Portals:

Dark Soul
Defeat Shredder with the War Staff equipped through all chapters
Darkest Soul
Defeat Shredder with all Shimmering Portals active and the War Staff equipped through all chapters

AfterGame - Сrap out of Player

And the hardest the last the most obscure achievement in game - Perfection. WTF is this?!

Perfection
Complete the Perfect Run
There are all simple: War Staff equipped through all chapters from the beginning, you must activate all Shimmering Portals, you must defeat all Gauntlet Challenge bosses. IN ONE RUN. But you can use revives. Not impossible, but really hard.

Some tips from my run:
-play at Mickey
-Portal of Scarcity must be one of the last activates portal (because after this portal game start play against you)
-hardest bosses is Karai and mini-boss on Rooftops (75% what it will be a Twins) and for easy defeating I used Light Astral Power Illumination on 3 lvl which reflect projectiles back to enemy with 60% of player's health (Ninjas will kill themselves on their own shurikens)
-if you have not enough clear damage until reach Karai - just reboot run
-video of my perfect run, mb can help someone

DLC Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam

Right now here is only 1 new achievement with new DLC#1 released Feb 5, 2025

The Cutting Edge

This achievements unlock after defeating a new stage finale boss.
To get to the this new stage, you need to after defeating the Karai in the docks, you'll see a branch to go to the next stage. You can choose the streets as before or choose the junkyard as a new stage 3.

For getting to the junkyard you don't need to have the DLC. Only the host of your run is must to have this DLC.

Finalize

And that's it for now! The perfect game is in your library!

My advice and walkthrough may differ from yours, these are just tips on how to optimize the games run. I am not a speedrunner and not pretend to be. There is very little material on the web, so everything that was written was taken from my personal experience. If you have your personal lifehacks or different strategy - be sure to write them to help other gamers.

Thank you for reading! Stay connected!

Thanks for the guide! I just hit 100% and this guide was super helpful. The hardest was Perfection but honestly the most tedious was definitely Self Destructive.

this is first boss of the floor encounters. absolutely random.
ILLUMINATION can spawn at sewers.
FIREWATCH can spawn at docks.
MYSTIC COUNCIL and SHADOW HAND can spawn at roofs.

At my walkthrough I had problem with Mystic Council at roofs. I always had a Twin at this point.

P.S. and this is good what we don't have all achievements from apple arcade, because trying to spawn a special version of shredder will be more terrible.
XBONEXSCARX 14 stycznia o 1:12
Ok so I can confirm SUPER SUPPORT is random. unless I blindly achieved it. My question is FIREWATCH, ILLUMINATION, MYSTIC COUNCIL, and SHADOW HAND? How do I unlock these achievements?

:michelangeloTF:
thebuhaka  [autor] 13 stycznia o 6:43
yeah... this sht extremely rare...
I had only twice for 30 hours of playing. I'm not sure but it looks like for playing Donnie chance to spawn allies higher :? ofc nobody can proof or disprove it
