info about the game

just stuff the game should tell you (ive never made a guide so it will probably suck) please tell me in the comments if i should add anything to the guide

how the phones in 8 person subs work

basicly theres a phone on the top floor and bottom floor if you go to a phone and hole it with right click then hold e the phone will switch to blue when its blue you can speak and the other phone will play the sound but only one person can have a blue phone at a time the other person doesnt need to be using the phone to hear it they just need to be near it

the question mark things on the sonar

these can be one of 2 things (maybe more but i dont think so) they can either be a giant mannequin thing next to a bunch of crashed ships and dead whales and stuff or they can be a massive whale il talk about the mannequin first basically when you go towards it, it will wake up and reach out its hands facing upwards in its left hand it will have loot if you put ducks (which you can find in locations) in his right hand and he will give you that loot it takes 2-4 ducks but dont try grabbing the loot before he reaches forwards with it otherwise he grabs you and kills you the whale thing ive only found once but basically you just go outside your airlock then it appears and swims around it circles then it stops its eye right outside the airlock if you go towards the eye it makes tentacles appear on your screen then it teleports you back to your sub with a curse im not all the curses are or even if there are any but the one i got said there would be more body parts but also more traps

dont instantly choose the 8 person sub if you havent got all your freinds ready to play

the sub size doesnt mean better the 8 person subs stations are rly spread out and literally need the phone (mentioned earlier) to talk from the top floor to the bottom floor and vice versa it doesn't have more health so just choose the sub depending on how many people you have

what the submarines stations actually do

first of all the stations are the things that you grab and control with the feet symbols below them on the floor there is a few and they vary depending on the sub size (vary location not station tho the large sub does have a phone station) first up the sonar station on the 1 to 2 person sub it isnt a station but rather a giant screen but for the other subs you can look at it and see locations like wrecks or the mystery locations but also things like enemys polish fish or experiments basicly just look at the yellow dot that apears when something is near your sub and make note of the letter and number above the dot you can then go to another station which should be right next to the sonar it has 2 rows with lines on both of them and a few dials basicly use q and e to adust the top row to the dots near you its kinda hard to explain but you can switch between the dots that are on your sonar then the top bar will have some lines all you have to do then it use a and d to switch the bottom bar just make the bottom bar lines the same as the top and it will say what that dot is it will also have a symbol for it on the right of the station green means you should try driving into it because it gives you money yellow means it wont try hitting you but if it hits you it will still do damage and red means it will try hitting you (i just realised how long this one part is) the next one is pretty simple its just a lever that adjusts your speed holding w increases speed and holding s decreases it you then have steering which uhh turns your sub you can also punch it to activate the horn i think thats basicly all the normal stations

what modules/batteries are and how to use them

batteries are things you can find at locations you basicly take them back to your sub and put them into slots in your sub (slots are at stations) your sub then drains the battery to fill that upgrade up once it is full it is upgrades and if your battery has more charge then it needs then it gives the battery back with whatever charge it has

moving on to modules you can get them in 2 ways ( i think) either buying them from your vending machine or getting them from the black market guy as loot you basicly go into the shower thing in your sub and insert the module into the hole thing it then adds it to your suit you can have 2 modules in your suit at a time and you use e and q to use them but some are passive and dont need to be activated i forgot all the modules but the ones i remember are

flashlight:literally just a flashlight

shell:makes your health 200 percent instead of 100 percent

agent nut:spawns a squirrel thing? that leads you back to the sub but apparently it doesnt always work

grapple:ive never used it but its like a long ranged grab its just like a harpoon that grabs items

emp:stuns enemies near you

xray: lets you see your crewmates through walls

body detection:lets you see body parts(evidence)

the little computer things that say abomination 12 or something like that can be destroyed and count as evidence

BUT DO NOT LOOK AT THE SCREENS WITH FACES IT WILL TORMENT YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE(until you leave the location)

2: everyone ive ever played with they were realy nice and actually answered my questions despite my realy annoying mic (aside from you jr and that random person that kicked me within 2 seconds of me joining without an explanation)

ok so i may have forgotten everyone elses name but uh literally everyone was a massive help in first starting the game and if you are reading this because you just got the game then ask people on what to do (and if cold cookies joins your crew you have acquired infinite knowledge)

what you are supposed to do in the game

basically just go to locations (which usually are a dotted circle with an anchor on the sonar) and pull the lever in your sub to go there the lever is red and in a yellow circle it will only let you pull it down once you are in the location circle once you arrive you just swim into your airlock and punch the switch which will close one door and open the other after the outside door opens just swim outside and look for evidence such as the screen thing that you can punch but the main pieces of evidence are have like a green glow or are kinda green if you swim up to the evidence most of it you can grab using one hand by holding right click but some you have to hold by holding down both mouse buttons at once after you have the evidence just swim back to the submarine and put it in the grinder which looks like a shredder in the sub (it will be on a wall) but because its the Halloween event at the time of making this then it looks like a mouth just bring the evidence to the shredder and let go of it for it to be shredded you will see the evidence metre thing below the screen where is says your money there will be a red arrow on a bar every time you destroy evidence that bar fills up you need to destroy evidence until it reaches the red arrow once it does you can leave by pulling the lever up

how the tool belt works

basically your belt has 2 slots one for items and one for tools when you are holding an item (Which are generally items that cant be used while being held) press x to put it in your belt at the bottom of your screen the left slot is your item slot when an item is put in your belt it disappears from your hand so you can grab another item once an item is in you belt you can press x again to basically drop it which takes it out of your belt you can only have one item in your belt and once and you cant put 2 handed items in your belt

the tool belt is basically the same but only tools can be put into it (tools are things that can be used while holding them) instead of pressing x you press c

!SPOILER! :how to get all the suits

first of all you can equip suits with the washing machine in your submarine

1.default:everyone has it

2.super diver: just invite and have 10 of your steam friends join your crew

3.elite:just survive 5 games without anyone dyeing and making quota while in a red zone (the most difficult zone)

4.trickster:stun someone with a taser grab them with the grappling module and then hit them with a cutter (i don't know if you have to do these at the same time or in order)

5.skeleton:have 500 life points drained by either the gulpers (giant clear things with a circle mouth or parasite

6.eggtastic:when someone is swallowed by the gulper you can punch it a bunch of times until it spits them out just make it vomit 10 times for the suit

7.virus:play with someone using the virus suit

8.flusher:use a toilet 10 times (you can find toilets in locations they emit a purple glow and teleport you to the surface

9.time diver:just explore every room of the location Atlantis

10.neir duckomata:the black market guy sometimes offers a dead diver wearing a duck suit as a trade just buy the diver and shred them

10.white lady:find a tv in a location and stare at it until a snake thing comes out once it does just leave the location without dying

11.grooving zombie:emp or tase the chain saw enemies then press 5 to do the dance emote next to them

12.pumpking:just shred the pumpkins you can find at locations

!SPOILER! I DONT RECOMMEND YOU READ THIS SECTION :secret ducks

there is one secret rubber duck in every submarine for the 2 person sub it will be at the very front behind the sonar by the net battery upgrade

for the 8 person sub just swim down to the bottom floor and at the front of the submarine there is a pool of purple/blue liquid just swim into the pool and you will see the duck
