Wheel Settings for v1.5x ATS and Simagic
By Pazzie
This short guide provides optimal wheel settings for the Simagic direct drive wheelbase, covering both in-game configurations and adjustments within Simagic's SimPro Manager 2 software. While the guide specifically focuses on Simagic hardware, many of the recommended settings can also be applied to similar direct drive wheelbases from other manufacturers. Whether you are looking to fine-tune your force feedback for better realism or enhance overall driving performance, these settings will help you get the most out of your setup.

Configuration
SimPro Manager 2 Settings

Optional: For a lighter steering feel, set the Mechanical Damper and Friction to 5%. For a stronger steering feel, increase both to 30%.

Note: Most modern trucks have a wheel rotation of around 1800 degrees. However, in this configuration, I use higher rotation (2160 degrees, or two times1080) as I find it way more enjoyable. Set it to 1800 in both the in-game settings and SimPro Manager if you prefer less wheel rotation.

In-Game settings

Important: Keep Terrain Surface at or below 25%. If you find the engine resonance (vibration feedback) too strong, reduce the setting or set it to 0% to disable it completely.
