How to get RIPPED (playing Brighter Shores) - Beginner

A beginner guide on using Brighter Shores as an excuse to finally workout.

Part 1 (Pre-workout)
As this is something everyone in the game will have to go through, we will pick our choice of workout skill as "CARPENTRY".

Getting to level 32 carpentry is important for everyone since you get some sort of banking spell that lets you bank in multiple spots throughout the map.

(Consume pre-workout here, if in real-life inventory)

If you're already past this point or just earlier on in the game, you can do this with anything else that requires picking up materials (from your storage or shop) and then spending time at a crafting station.

First, if you'll be buying your logs, you need a fat stack of money that you got from killing enemies up to this point and not spending the money on stupid gathering tools. Everyone knows the BEST way of getting money is actually manning up and just killing anything you see (source required).


This npc is about 5 seconds away from the carpentry stations. (remember you can apply this to any other skill such as buying cooking materials and running to the kitchen, especially if you're tradwife material)

Fill up your inventory with the best log you can afford and make your way to the Carpenter's Workshop.




When you enter the Workshop, bank half your inventory in the lumber storage seen at number 1 on the picture below and prepare mentally for what you're about to do for the (hopefully not) first time in your life.


Part 2 (The Workout)
This is where the workout actually begins, stop solo working out your 1 hand, stand up from your SECRET LAB GAMING chair and click on the "CIRCULAR SAW" to begin.



As soon as your character starts working out in game, start doing as many push-ups as you can before the sawing phase is over.

Once your logs are chopped into sticks, proceed to number 2 (not bathroom) and start processing the sticks even further.
You should not sit down here since as soon as you start working on number 2 (not bathroom), you'll get down and start doing sit-ups. (if your belly doesn't allow for this, you'll start running in spot, assuming your floor can handle you, until you lose the belly and able to do sit-ups.)

When you're character is done, sell the processed timber to the correct merchant of the skill you chose (carpentry is 1 step away from your workout spot) and un-bank the rest of the 12 lumber you stored from the shop run.

Start repeating this section from the start until you run out of logs and use the time that you spend in running back to the SHOP in order to rest between sets and drink water.




Part 3 (The shower)
When you're done getting a bunch of levels, set your character to the offline skill of your choice and go have a shower since you probably haven't had one in about 5 days before reading this guide and anyone that has seen you has already noticed your hair is oily af. (They can smell you even though you can't)




Make sure your activity has the offline box below before you log out.


The End
Congratz, you've FINALLY done something instead of just stare at your favorite twitch streamer playing the same game he made you start playing, while playing the same game that the twitch streamer is playing as he looks at a chat and doesn't even tell you he's proud of you. (Cause he's really not)

Me? I'm actually proud of you step-person.



Important end-notes:

For people who have other workout instruments in your room, just use things such as a bicycle or workout bench (or just weights) after advancing the simple workouts.
If you have already done enough reps for the day, a chill time on the workout bike is perfect to stay conditioned while you sit there and enjoy all the big-macs you deserve.

Remember, the game isn't a race, there's no leaderboards and the only winner is the person who can go out lookin fresh after spending hours gaming.

@Sniclops For short tasks like mining or combat you can use weights and do as many as you can before you have to click again
