Default Paintings
All the default paintings are available from the very beginning

The Carnival of Speckren Vale
A jolly little scene, aint it? Well, you cant take these things at face value. A painted wagon hides all kinds of horror.
And theres more than one reason to dance around a flame.
~ Aldo Richter ~
Hunter of the Wastes
Its bloody murder up on the Kislev borderlands. A thunder of hooves, and a severed head soon after.
You should ask Olesya - shes lived it.
~ Anonymous ~
The Beast of Bögenhafen
Looks like the privy decided to start fighting back. If nothing else, its a reminder not to drink the water around Bögenhafen.
~ Anonymous ~
Act 1
All of Catrinne's (Patrik Rosander) paintings are level prototypes that, in some cases, didn't reach production (like Halescourge's 'Heresy in Chains', which was replaced with Burblespue).

Bastion of Faith
Now this is a cheerier one. Sigmars temple shining in the sun. The dawn always comes, if we make it through the night.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Righteous Stand
The Three-Mawed Hound
I like a good, loyal hound. That creature has the look of being maybe one of those three at best.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Righteous Stand
In Search of Peace
Given whos standing front centre, I reckon Catrinnes having a bit of a laugh with the title.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Convocation of Decay
Thynge of Appetite in Womans Flesh
I keep hearing how beautiful these daemonettes are, but I dont see it. Must creep over you when they get close,
so Im happier with them a long way off.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Convocation of Decay
The Loneliest Vigil
I keep telling her that you were all there, but no. Victor Saltzpyre, alone against the world. Still, cant fault the likeness.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Hunger in the Dark
Shrieking Herald of the Dark Prince
If thats the messenger, I can love without finding out what the message is.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Hunger in the Dark
Heresy in Chains
Artistic licence being taken again here. Or is it a metaphor for Ghûlmagaks influence over that Helmgart mess? Why she cant just paint things as they are, I dont know.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Halescourge
Harvester of the Soulfyldes
All those blades, rushing towards you? Not for me, thank you. A problem for someone else while old Franz Lohner oversees the matter.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Halescourge
Act 2
Fallen Pride in the Temple of Winds
I asked Catrinne about this one. Itll be our turn next. Thats what she said. Im starting to worry about her.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Athel Yenlui
Eternal Service
Necromancers aint that different from nobles. Both want to keep you working long after your parts and pieces have all worn out.
~ Anonymous ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Athel Yenlui
In the Lair of the Flesh-Shaper
Old Albrecht Durnest painted this one. Saw a lot of ridicule for it too because, as we all know, skaven dont exist, do they?
~ Albrecht Durnest ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in The Screaming Bell
Flameryder, Herald of the Great Sorcerer
Weve quite enough problems around here without daemon-fire, thank you very much. Ive a good mind to set this to a flame, now I think on it.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in The Screaming Bell
Daemons Crossing
You should have heard the tale Catrinne told me about this place. Something about tentacles.
Seems you were lucky not to run into worse than ratmen and northlanders.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Fort Brachsenbrücke
The Cowl of Changelynge Faces
There are tales of a daemon trickster who steals faces to hide his own. He can look like anyone. Might even be in this room right now. Hang on a minute...
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Fort Brachsenbrücke
Empire of Decay
Weve seen a few places like this, havent we? I much prefer them in oils and canvas than in timber and bone.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Into the Nest
Fateweaver, Winged Prophet
So legend goes, this ones blind to the present, but sees the past and future clear as mint on mutton.
Lets hope we never find him around here.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Into the Nest
Act 3
The Beast of Helgrams Farm
I swear that thing gets larger every time I cast an eye on it. Still, where theres light, theres hope.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Against the Grain
Plagues Messenger
Look at that the size of that bug. Larger than the flies buzzing around Bardins secret stash, and those nearly have my eye out.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Against the Grain
The Price of Tolerance
Tolerance? What does this have to do with tolerance? I might just need to have a word with that girl. I think she might be getting cynical.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Empire in Flames
A Thyng That Slaughters Without Reason
Ive heard of Marius. His family said he went on a long walk through his dream. Saw all kinds of ghastly things.
Locked him up, and with good reason.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Empire in Flames
The Tree that Devours Dreams
I dont remember you mentioning anything like this in Helmgart. We might want to watch Catrinne,
Id hate for her to end up on a witchs Pyre.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Finding 3 Ravaged Art in Festering Ground
Kugath, Seeping Apothecary
You remember that business beneath the hospice? Well, what you stopped looked too much like that for my beauty sleep.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Finding 30 Ravaged Art in Festering Ground
Study of a Northlander Camp (Number 3)
You know the thing I like best about this? That those murdering buggers are very small, or at least a very long way away.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Find 3 Ravaged Art in The War Camp
The Blynde Scribe
I had a paymaster looked a bit like that. Well, not the candles - thats a bit much. The leer though? Identical.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Find 30 Ravaged Art in The War Camp
Skittergate
The Virulent Sea
I feel a shudder every time I look at this one. Its not the cold. Its not the horde of merciless northlanders making landfall.
But those skies? They aint natural.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~
Find 3 Ravaged Art in The Skittergate
The Shadow of Rage Unbound
Never crossed paths with a bloodthirster. Never want to. If youve any sense, youll pray one never crosses your path.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Find 30 Ravaged Art in The Skittergate
Ravaged Art Milestones
A Study in Virtuous Nobility
Theres a little heart etched on the back! I really do need to have a word with that girl, dont I? This is why I never became a father.
~ Catrinne of Aldenstein ~

Old Comrades
On the right? Countess Gertrun of Middenheim. Dont know the other chap - moustachioed noblemen arent exactly in short supply around here.
~ Anonymous ~
Find 260 Ravaged Art in any Mission
Tithebringer of the North
I dont much care for this painting. Has a whiff of corruption about it - still, thats what you get for daubing daemons.
Something unpleasant that creeps into the paint.

Rhargrak the Red
Nasty piece of work, so I hear. A despoiler of villages, a collector of skulls and a slayer of kin. Avoid.
~ Adriannus the Smith ~
Skulls for the Skull Throne 2019
Slaughterborn
Don't know a great deal about this fellow. Maybe we'll get lucky, and it's just some addle-brained painter's imagination?
~ Anonymous ~
Skulls for the Skull Throne 2019
Skulltaker, Blood God's Champion
This one pops up, now and again. Finds a mortal hero, chops 'em to fishbait, and makes off with their skull as a trophy.
You couldn't make it up.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Slay Bödvarr Ribspreader during the Skulls for the Skull Throne 2019 Event
The Last War of Bastonne the Bold
Knightly honour's one thing, but a bellowing brass daemon-steed's always going to tip the balance in favour of the other fellow.
~ Anonymous ~
Completing the Weekly Event during Skulls for the Skull Throne 2020
Onslaught from Beyond
Don't often see Khornate and Slaaneshi daemons working together. Won't last, but it'll end worse for someone else first.

The Alabaster Line
I hear those swordmasters are so fast they can cut arrows out of the air. They're gonna need every bit of that speed.

Never been exactly sure how one crushes blood, if I'm honest. But I suppose anything goes flatter if you stomp it hard enough.
~ Marius Holseher ~

I like this one, despite the subject matter. Those eyes - that eye, rather - really follows you round the room.
~ Spyre of Albion ~

Epidemius, Proctor of Pestilance

Too many ales, I suppose.

Soulrender, First of the Blood
There's hierarchy, even amongst daemons. Whether it's blood or ichor in their veins, never trust a body who wants a throne.

Hard to be sure what Catrinne's based this on. You lot do spend a lot of time wandering around underground.

Find 3 Ravaged Art in Engines of War
Krell, Lord of Undeath
Nasty one, this. Krell you'll have heard of, but it's the tower behind him that bothers me.

Find the Lost Cameo Pendant
The Children of Chaos
Ain't a forest in the Empire not chock full of beastmen. There's always more of them than you think.
~ Anonymous ~
Recover the Beastmen Spoils
Bray-Reaver
Worst thing about the beastmen is they don't really have a goal beyond mindless destruction.
They yearn for the time before civilisation, apparently. Mind you, we've all had days like that.
~ Anonymous ~
Have 3 Gors die by warpfire
Cloven Archers
Not many marksmen in the brayheards. Most beastmen aren't too good at the old hand-eye coordination. But ungors?
They're daft enough - even if they steal more arrows than they fletch.
~ Thrask the Mad ~
Have Ungor Archers score the killing blow on a Minotaur
Study of a Bestigor
By and large, the more armour a beastman wears, the higher it is up the pecking order.
Strength takes all in the brayherds - loot's just a part of it.
~ Anonymous ~
Have a Bestigor charge a Chaos Warrior
Ungrol Hornthief
You've got to admire the front of this one. Lacking any real horns of his own, he bashed out the brains of his herd's leaders and took theirs for his own. It's cheating, but it's creative cheating.
~ Marius Holseher ~
Slay a Minotaur under the Oak on Against the Grain
The Beastlord
It ain't that the beastmen don't feel pain... Problem is, most of 'em simply don't care. Keep fighting until they've no blood left.

Here’s the list of all the paintings that you can’t have in the keep currently, but maybe some of them will be added in future updates.
