Prime Parts are components for Prime Warframes and weapons, highly sought after by players who are willing to pay Platinum for them.

  • What Are Prime Parts? – Prime Parts are found in Void Relics, which drop from missions throughout the Star Chart. Each Prime Warframe or weapon has specific parts, and many of these can be sold for Platinum.

  • How to Farm Prime Parts – - Best Missions: Capture, Exterminate, and Defense missions are usually the fastest for farming Relics, especially in Void Fissure missions. - Efficient Farming: Use frames like Nova for fast Capture runs or Banshee for high-damage Defense runs. Join public squads to increase efficiency and Relic rewards. - Relic Refinement: Gather Void Traces and refine Relics to increase the chance of getting rare parts. This improves the value of the parts when trading for Platinum.

  • Best Prime Parts to Sell – - Rare Parts: Rare components (e.g., Rhino Prime Blueprint, Akbolto Prime Barrel) generally sell for more Platinum. - Unvaulted Parts: When a Prime Warframe or weapon is "unvaulted" (temporarily available), its parts see high demand. Focus on farming these, as their rarity will rise once the relics are removed again.

Tips:
Run Void Fissures with a team to increase Relic efficiency. Track upcoming unvaults and prioritize farming them for future resale.
  • Use Warframe.market to check current prices for Prime Parts.

1.1. Best Nodes for Farming Relics
The Void Relics drop from various missions across the Star Chart, and each type of Relic can be more efficiently farmed from specific planets or nodes. Here are some recommendations based on Relic type:

Lith Relics: These are the starting relics and are relatively easy to farm early in the game.

Recommended Nodes:
Earth: The Sabotage or Exterminate missions are quick and reliable for Lith Relics.
Mercury: Exterminate or Capture missions are fast and efficient for farming Lith Relics as well.
Meso Relics: These are mid-tier relics and often contain more valuable parts.

Recommended Nodes:
Venus: Survival or Interception missions are a great option for Meso Relics.
Mars: Defection and Excavation are solid choices for farming Meso Relics.
Neo Relics: These Relics drop in mid-to-high level missions, often containing valuable components for Prime Warframes and weapons.

Recommended Nodes:
Uranus: Capture or Interception are fast options for farming Neo Relics.
Ceres: Survival or Interception missions provide a decent drop rate for Neo Relics.
Axi Relics: These are high-tier relics and usually drop the rarest and most valuable parts.

Recommended Nodes:
Void: The Void Fissure missions on this node are excellent for farming Axi Relics.
Plains of Eidolon: The Fissure missions here drop Axi Relics, and they also have a decent chance of yielding other valuable resources and Prime parts.
Warframe Abilities That Improve Farming Efficiency

Certain Warframes have abilities that can increase the number of drops you get, speed up farming, or provide additional rewards. These Warframes are ideal for farming specific Relics, and their abilities can significantly boost your efficiency:

Hydroid – Pilfering Swarm: Hydroid’s ability, Pilfering Swarm, greatly increases the chances of resource drops, including mods and rare items. This ability is especially useful in Survival and Defense missions where enemies keep spawning, ensuring you get the most out of your kills.

Nekros – Desecrate: Nekros' Desecrate ability re-rolls enemy loot tables, increasing the chances of additional drops. This makes Nekros one of the best Warframes for farming resource-heavy missions, such as Excavation or Survival, where you need to maximize your loot.

Khora – Pilfering Strangledome: This ability works similarly to Hydroid’s Pilfering Swarm, as Khora’s Strangledome trap causes enemies inside to drop additional loot, including mods and rare items. It’s excellent for farming Survival or Interception missions.

Vauban – Minelayer: Vauban’s Minelayer can place mines that deal damage and stun enemies, allowing for quick kills. This is great for speeding up missions like Exterminate or Defense, where time is of the essence.

Trinity – Energy Vampire: Trinity's Energy Vampire restores energy, ensuring that you can keep casting abilities in long-duration missions like Survival and Defense without worrying about running out of energy.

Using These Abilities for Optimal Farming

For Lith Relic farming, faster missions like Exterminate and Capture can be made even more efficient by using Warframes like Banshee (for high damage output) or Nova (for crowd control), allowing you to quickly eliminate enemies and move to the next mission.

In Meso Relic farming, Warframes like Nekros or Khora are incredibly useful due to their loot-enhancing abilities. Pair them with Interception or Survival missions for the best rewards.

When farming Axi Relics, consider running Void Fissures with Warframes like Trinity (to ensure energy regeneration) and Hydroid (for additional drops). The Plains of Eidolon is also ideal for Axi Relic farming, where Khora can help increase loot chances while you focus on completing the fissure.

Tips for Maximizing Efficiency

Target low-traffic nodes where the mission type is less popular to avoid unnecessary waiting times. Use Relic Refinement to increase the chances of getting rare parts. Refine your relics to improve the drop chances for valuable Prime components. Join Public Squads: Group up with other players to increase the speed at which you complete missions and get the Relics you need. Switch between Relics: Don’t just focus on one type of Relic. Switch to different relics as you farm to keep your inventory diverse and maximize your chances of getting highly sought-after parts.

2. Selling Mods
Mods are a valuable source of Platinum, especially those that are rare, essential for popular builds, or specific to endgame content.

  • Types of Valuable Mods – - Primed Mods: Mods like Primed Continuity, Primed Flow, and Primed Point Blank are valuable. These can be obtained from Baro Ki'Teer, Warframe’s "Void Trader." - Rare Mods: Mods like Condition Overload, Narrow Minded, and Overextended are in high demand due to their powerful effects and use in meta builds. - Riven Mods: Rivens are personalized mods that roll unique stats. Players are willing to pay more for Rivens with good stats for popular weapons.

  • How to Get Valuable Mods – - Farm High-Level Missions: Mods drop from high-level enemies in missions like Sorties, Arbitrations, and Kuva Survival. These missions are also good for Riven Slivers, which can be traded for fully-fledged Riven Mods. - Sorties for Rivens: Daily Sorties give a chance to drop Riven Mods. Even Rivens for less popular weapons can sell for decent amounts of Platinum.

  • Selling Mods – - Popular Mods: Mods used in common Warframe and weapon builds tend to sell quickly. Examples include Streamline, Vitality, and Serration for Warframe or weapon builds. - Fair Pricing: Check Warframe.market for the current going rate, and price slightly below to ensure a quick sale.

Tips:
Avoid overspending on trades for mods and instead farm them yourself. []Popular mods for popular Warframes or weapons usually sell faster and for higher Platinum.

2.1. Full Prime Sets vs. Individual Prime Parts
Selling Full Prime Sets:
Selling an entire set of Prime parts (e.g., Rhino Prime Blueprint, Rhino Prime Chassis, Rhino Prime Neuroptics) can be more lucrative in some cases. Buyers looking to complete their Prime Warframe or weapon will often pay a higher price for the convenience of getting everything they need in one go.

Pricing Strategy:
Consider pricing the full set at a slightly higher rate than the sum of its individual parts, as buyers value the ease of acquiring the full set quickly.
Faster Sales:
Full sets often sell faster because they attract players who want to avoid the hassle of hunting down individual parts.
Selling Individual Parts:
On the other hand, some players may only need a specific part to complete their set. If a Prime Warframe or weapon is highly sought after, selling individual parts could help you target those players who are looking for that one missing component.

Maximizing Profit:
Sometimes, individual parts may sell for more than they would in a full set, especially for rarer components. For example, the Prime Neuroptics or Prime Blueprint of a popular Warframe may fetch a higher price than the Chassis or Systems.
Market Demand:
Always check Warframe.market to see if certain parts are in higher demand than others. You may find that some individual pieces, like Prime Barrels or Prime Handles, are worth more than complete sets at certain times.
Strategies for Selling Prime Parts and Sets

Full Set Pricing: When listing a full Prime set, consider pricing it slightly above the individual market prices of the parts combined. You can also add a small premium to encourage the buyer to opt for the convenience of a complete set. Individual Part Listings: If you’re selling individual parts, aim to price them competitively, especially if the Prime Warframe or weapon is currently in demand. Keep in mind that prices may fluctuate with each unvaulting event or update. Bundling Strategy: Sometimes, it’s effective to list multiple related parts (e.g., Chassis + Neuroptics + Systems) as a bundle at a discounted rate to entice buyers. This can appeal to players who need multiple pieces but don’t want to buy everything individually. []Track Unvaulting Events: Keep track of upcoming unvaulting events. When a Prime Warframe or weapon is unvaulted, the demand for those parts spikes. Consider listing both individual parts and full sets during this period to maximize your sales.

Selling Mod Sets for Resale

Similar to Prime parts, selling mod sets can be a profitable venture. Some players prefer buying mod sets that are ready to use for popular builds, while others may only need a specific mod.

Bundling Mods:
You can bundle popular mods like Primed Continuity, Primed Flow, or Condition Overload into a set to make the trade more attractive to buyers who need multiple mods for a single Warframe or weapon build.

Set Pricing:
Bundling mods that are frequently used together can increase your chances of making a sale. Try to list the bundle at a slightly discounted rate compared to buying each mod individually to give buyers an incentive.
Use Popular Meta Builds:
Target mods that are popular in meta builds. Mods for high-demand Warframes and weapons (like Vitality, Streamline, and Serration) will sell quickly if priced competitively.
Syndicate Mod Sets: Consider selling full sets of Syndicate mods, which can be highly desirable for endgame players. These sets often cater to specific builds, making them valuable for players focused on optimizing their performance. Selling Specific Mods: If you’re not able to sell a full set, consider breaking it down and selling the mods individually. Rare mods like Narrow Minded or Overextended can be worth a lot, especially for those focused on specific builds.
  • Market Adjustments: Watch the current prices for mod sets and adjust accordingly. If the demand for certain mods increases due to changes in game updates or community trends, you can raise your prices accordingly to maximize profit.

Tips for Both Prime Parts and Mod Sets

Check the Market Trends: Be sure to keep an eye on the current market trends for both Prime parts and mods. Prices fluctuate based on events like unvaulting or new updates. Tools like Warframe.market and community forums are great resources to help you stay updated.
Be Patient: Whether you’re selling individual parts or full sets, sometimes it takes time for the right buyer to come along. Don’t be discouraged if your listing doesn’t sell immediately; patience often pays off.

2.2. Mods
Mods are a key element in Warframe, enhancing your Warframe’s or weapon’s capabilities and allowing for unique builds. Understanding which mods are valuable can make a huge difference when it comes to trading for Platinum. Below is a more in-depth look at different categories of mods, including Primed mods, rare mods, and Riven mods, along with examples and important factors to consider.

Primed Mods

Primed mods are upgraded versions of standard mods. They provide higher stat bonuses, making them highly desirable in the market. Since these mods significantly improve gameplay, they are sought after by players looking to optimize their builds.

Primed Continuity: Increases the duration of your abilities. This is crucial for Warframes focused on long-duration abilities, like Nova, Nekros, or Trin.
Primed Flow: Boosts Energy capacity. A must-have for Warframes that rely on abilities, such as Nova or Octavia.
Primed Pressure Point: Enhances melee damage, making it a go-to mod for players focused on melee combat.
Primed Vitality: Boosts Health, essential for Warframes that need to stay alive longer, such as Rhino or Valkyr.
Primed Morphic Transformer: Enhances your mod capacity and is an essential mod for expanding your customization options.
Rare Mods

Rare mods are mods that are typically harder to find and are valuable because they significantly impact performance in specific builds. These mods are highly sought after and can often be sold for substantial amounts of Platinum.

Condition Overload: This mod provides a large damage boost based on the status effects on enemies. It is critical for builds focused on maximizing damage output, especially for melee weapons.
Narrow Minded: Increases Ability Range but decreases Ability Duration. It is ideal for Warframes that benefit from more control over ability range, such as Trinity or Octavia.
Overextended: Boosts Ability Range, but it reduces Ability Strength. This mod is valuable for Warframes that rely on large-area effects, such as Nova and Mirage.
Transient Fortitude: Increases Ability Strength, which is perfect for Warframes that rely on powerful abilities to defeat enemies quickly, such as Zephyr or Saryn.
Riven Mods and Disposition

Riven Mods are a special category of mod that can be rolled to create custom stats for specific weapons. These mods are unique because each one can have different attributes, such as increasing damage, critical chance, or fire rate, depending on the roll.

Riven Disposition: One important aspect of Riven pricing is the weapon’s Riven Disposition. This system determines how much a Riven can improve a weapon’s stats based on the weapon's performance in the game. Weapons with lower disposition are less powerful with Riven mods, while weapons with higher disposition are more powerful and thus the Rivens for those weapons are more valuable.

Example: A Riven for a weapon with a high Riven Disposition, like the Kuva Bramma or Ignis Wraith, will usually sell for a higher price because the Riven is more impactful. On the other hand, a weapon with low disposition, like the Boltor, may have a Riven that is not as valuable, even if the stats are good.
Popular Riven Examples:

Kuva Bramma: A highly sought-after weapon, and its Rivens are valuable, especially those with rolls that boost damage or multishot.
Tigris Prime: Rivens for this shotgun can fetch high prices due to its popularity in both normal and Steel Path content.
Ignis Wraith: A fan-favorite weapon, and its Riven can drastically improve its already high damage potential.
Essential Mods for Endgame Content

Endgame content, like Steel Path and Arbitrations, requires specific mods to maximize survivability and damage. Having the right mods for these challenging missions can make all the difference.

Adaptation: This mod increases resistance to incoming damage based on the type of damage recently taken. It’s extremely valuable for survivability in high-level content like Steel Path, where enemies hit much harder.
Primed Continuity: Duration mods are essential for keeping your Warframe abilities active longer, particularly for Warframes with crowd control or healing abilities. It’s invaluable for Warframes like Trin, Octavia, or Nidus.
Vigilante Armaments: This mod increases the chance for secondary weapons to deal critical hits, which is essential for boosting DPS in endgame scenarios, especially for builds relying on secondary weapons for consistent damage.
Enemy Radar: This mod helps you to detect enemies within a given range. It’s useful in missions like Arbitrations, where enemies are dispersed, and locating them quickly is crucial.
Primed Flow: Increasing your Energy pool is vital for endgame content where constant ability usage can drain your Energy quickly.
General Tips for Selling Mods

Check Market Trends: Always check the market value for the mod before listing it. Popular mods may increase or decrease in value based on current meta changes or updates. Price Competitively: While it’s important to price your mods to make a profit, make sure you aren’t overpricing, as this could lead to slower sales. Price your mods slightly below the going rate for quicker turnover. Riven Rolling: If you're rolling a Riven, focus on rerolling for desirable stats that are sought after by players. High-stat Rivens for popular weapons can be sold for substantial amounts of Platinum. Mod Bundles: Selling mods as bundles—like a set of useful mods for a specific Warframe or weapon build—can help sell them faster and at a higher price.

3. Trading Riven Mods
Riven Mods are special mods that can be re-rolled for different stats, and they're highly customizable for specific weapons, making them lucrative.

  • How to Get Riven Mods – - Sorties: Complete daily Sorties for a chance to receive a Riven Mod. - Kuva Missions for Rolling Stats: Players can reroll Riven stats by farming Kuva. Look for high-level Kuva Survival or Kuva Flood missions for more Kuva.

  • Best Riven Mods to Sell – - Popular Weapons: Rivens for popular weapons like Kuva Bramma, Tigris Prime, or Ignis Wraith often have higher value. - Good Stat Rolls: Riven Mods with rolls like +Damage, +Multishot, +Critical Chance are more desirable.

Tips:
Use Warframe.market to gauge the demand and value of specific Riven Mods. Consider the weapon's popularity when buying, selling, or re-rolling Rivens.

4. Farming Void Traces and Forma Blueprints
Void Traces are used to upgrade Relics, while Forma Blueprints are highly desirable items used to reconfigure Warframes and weapons for more mod capacity.

  • How to Farm Void Traces – Run Void Fissure missions regularly to obtain Void Traces, and use them to refine Relics for better drops.

  • How to Get Forma Blueprints – Forma Blueprints can drop from Relics or be obtained from certain events, and players need these regularly for builds, making them an excellent source of Platinum.

Tips:
Refine Relics for rare drops and to make your items more valuable in the market. Forma sells consistently because every player needs it for builds and customization.

5. Event-Exclusive Items
Certain Warframe events offer unique items that become rare and valuable once the event is over.

  • What to Look For: Tactical Alerts, Nightwave, and seasonal events (e.g., Operation Plague Star) introduce unique rewards like exclusive mods, cosmetics, and gear.

  • How to Participate: Check the Nightwave station and the in-game news for event information, participate fully, and obtain all possible rewards. Store event rewards as these will become rare and valuable over time.

Tips:
Stock up on exclusive items during events; they can sell for high Platinum when they’re no longer available. Check event rotations to plan ahead and maximize your time.

5.1. Time Management for Farming
Efficient time management is key to maximizing your Platinum earnings in Warframe. With so many farming methods available, it’s important to allocate your playtime wisely based on how much Platinum you aim to make. Whether you’re just starting out or are a seasoned veteran, organizing your farming sessions and setting goals can lead to more consistent and profitable results.

Suggested Farming Schedules for Different Goals

To help you plan your farming sessions effectively, here’s a breakdown of different activities and the time investment you might want to make depending on how much Platinum you want to earn. Each method has its own time investment and potential reward, so you can choose how much time you want to dedicate based on your available hours and Platinum goals.

  • 30 minutes of Void Fissures: - Best for: Beginners and intermediate players looking for quick, consistent rewards. - Focus: Lith and Meso Relics for easier Prime parts. You can also focus on farming popular Prime parts like Rhino Prime or Akbolto Prime. - Reward: With a squad, you can quickly farm Void Fissures for a solid number of Relic drops, including rare parts. - Time Efficiency: 30 minutes can net you several Relic runs, increasing your chances of getting valuable Prime components.

  • 1 hour of Arbitrations:
    - Best for: Mid- to high-level players looking for high-value mods and Endo.
    - Focus: Arbitrations drop high-demand mods like Adaptation, Corrosive Projection, and rare Prime parts. They also reward large amounts of Endo, which can be sold for Platinum.
    - Reward: High-quality mods and Endo. However, the missions are tougher, so be prepared to face higher-level enemies.
    - Time Efficiency: Arbitrations can take 30 minutes to an hour per mission, depending on your team and difficulty, but they reward you handsomely with Endo, rare mods, and sometimes Riven Mods.

  • 2 hours of Steel Path and High-Level Fissures:
    - Best for: Experienced players aiming for significant Platinum returns with higher-risk, higher-reward missions.
    - Focus: Steel Path missions offer the potential for Steel Essence, rare mods, and Axi Relics, which contain high-value Prime parts.
    - Reward: Steel Path offers lucrative drops, including rare mods and full Prime sets, and can reward you with the rare items that fetch a high price.
    - Time Efficiency: Steel Path is harder and requires more preparation, but after two hours of focused farming, you can come away with several items to sell for Platinum.

  • 30 minutes of Sorties:
    - Best for: Players looking for Riven Mods and rare mods.
    - Focus: Sorties provide daily rewards, including Riven Mods, which are highly customizable and valuable.
    - Reward: Sorties also offer rewards like Endo and valuable mods, plus you’ll earn Riven Slivers that can be used to reroll Rivens for higher values.
    - Time Efficiency: Sorties are quick (usually taking less than 30 minutes) and can provide good returns on Riven Mods, which can be sold for substantial amounts of Platinum.

Prioritizing Time Investments Based on Your Platinum Goals

Your Platinum farming strategy should be tailored to the amount of time you have and your desired returns. Here’s how you can break down your farming to suit your goals:

Low Time Commitment (30-60 minutes): Focus on Void Fissures, Sorties, or daily tasks. These methods are quick and provide steady returns with minimal effort. They’re ideal for short farming sessions that fit into your busy schedule. []Moderate Time Commitment (1-2 hours): Arbitrations and mid-level Fissures (like Meso or Neo) are perfect for an hour or two of dedicated farming. You’ll get a good mix of Prime parts, mods, and Endo, but you’ll also face tougher enemies that require a bit more time investment.
  • High Time Commitment (3+ hours): Longer sessions, like Steel Path or high-level farming (Axi Fissures, Elite Sanctuary Onslaught), are best for those who have more time to commit. These sessions can yield high-value items, including rare Prime parts, Rivens, and Steel Essence. They’re more challenging, but the rewards can be substantial.

Maximizing Efficiency with Warframe Abilities and Squad Composition

Efficient farming isn’t just about the time you spend in a mission, but also about how efficiently you complete it. Certain Warframe abilities can make a significant difference in how much you farm in a given period:

Hydroid's Pilfering Swarm: Great for farming additional drops from enemies. Hydroid’s Pilfering Swarm ability increases the drop rate for items during missions, making it especially useful in Void Fissures or Arbitrations where you want more rewards from each kill. Nekros’ Desecrate: This ability increases the chances of getting extra loot from dead enemies, making it ideal for farming resources, mods, and Prime parts. Khora's Venari and Strangledome: Her Strangledome can control enemies, while Venari can provide added buffs and help clear mobs quickly, speeding up farming runs. Chroma’s Elemental Ward: Ideal for boosting the damage output of your squad. With a high-damage setup, you’ll be able to complete missions like Void Fissures and Arbitrations much faster.

Choosing the right Warframe for the job can significantly reduce the time it takes to farm valuable items, especially in higher-level missions.

Time Management Tips for Consistent Platinum Farming

Set Time Limits: Try setting a time limit for your farming session to avoid burning out. For example, dedicate 30 minutes to Void Fissures and then switch to Arbitrations for another hour. This keeps your farming sessions varied and interesting. Take Breaks: Long farming sessions can lead to fatigue and decrease your efficiency. Take breaks between your sessions to stay sharp and avoid frustration.
  • Stay Focused on Your Goal: Keep track of what you need and adjust your farming accordingly. If you’re after specific Prime parts, focus on Void Fissures or specific Relic farming. If you want Riven Mods, target Sorties.

By setting a structured farming schedule and optimizing your time with the right Warframes and abilities, you can maximize your Platinum earnings while minimizing wasted time. Be mindful of your available playtime, and adjust your farming strategy to meet your Platinum goals.

6. Use Warframe.market for Efficient Trading
Warframe.market is an external website where players list items and check market prices, essential for fair pricing and smooth trading.

  • How to Use Warframe.market – - Create Listings: List items you want to sell at a fair price. - Check Prices: Look at the average prices for items to avoid overpricing or underselling.

  • Strategies – Price slightly below market value to attract buyers quickly and use concise, clear messages to improve communication with buyers.

Tips:
Respond promptly to buyers to close trades quickly. []Check prices periodically to stay updated on market trends.

6.1. Additional Tips for Pricing and Negotiation
Pricing and negotiating the sale of your items in Warframe can be a tricky aspect of trading. While some items, like rare Prime parts or valuable mods, may seem worth a high price, there are a few important tips to keep in mind to ensure your items sell quickly and effectively.

Understanding Price Fluctuations

In Warframe, item prices can fluctuate based on several factors, including supply and demand, the rarity of the item, and the current state of the market. While it’s tempting to set a high price for items like rare mods or Prime parts, it's important to consider the current market trends before doing so.

Check the prices of similar items on Warframe.market to get a rough idea of what your item is worth. This will give you a baseline for your pricing and prevent you from pricing too high or too low. Consider the demand for the item. For example, Prime parts from older Warframes or rare mods may have a high demand but a limited supply, allowing you to price them higher. However, newer or less desired parts may not have as much value and should be priced competitively.
  • Keep an eye on market oversaturation. If there are a lot of similar items listed for sale, it may be worth adjusting your price downward slightly to stand out and attract buyers.

Negotiating Prices

In Warframe, most trades take place in-person within the game, where you can directly negotiate with potential buyers. Some players prefer negotiating in private trade chats rather than using Warframe.market. Here are some tips for negotiating effectively:

Be open to offers: If a buyer makes an offer that’s slightly below your asking price, don’t be afraid to make a counteroffer. Negotiation is a two-way street, and being flexible can lead to a successful trade. However, know when to stand firm on a price, especially for rare items.

Counter-offers: If a player offers you less than your asking price, you can try countering with a price that’s more acceptable to both parties. Be respectful and polite, as maintaining a positive relationship with potential buyers can lead to future trades.

Avoid being rigid: While it’s important to value your items, being overly rigid on price can turn away potential buyers. If someone offers a reasonable price that’s close to what you’re asking, it may be worth accepting, especially if the item has been sitting on the market for a while.

Use Warframe.market effectively: On Warframe.market, you have the ability to adjust prices, list your items as "negotiable," or even mark items as being on hold. Use these tools to help guide negotiations. If you’re looking for a higher price but are willing to negotiate, you can list a "starting price" that gives buyers room to haggle.

Avoiding Price Inflation

When selling rare mods or Prime parts, it's easy to get caught up in the excitement of their perceived value. However, pricing your items too high can lead to several issues:

Slow sales: If your item is priced too high compared to similar listings, it may take much longer to sell. Most players will avoid overpriced items and look for deals at a more reasonable price.

Market oversaturation: Overpricing also leads to market oversaturation. If too many sellers list the same item at high prices, the market becomes flooded, making it even harder for any one item to sell. Pricing more competitively can help your listing stand out from the rest.

Loss of trust: Players who frequently encounter inflated prices may start to distrust sellers and avoid trading altogether. Setting reasonable prices will help maintain a fair and positive trading environment in Warframe.

Tips for Setting a Fair Price

Research current market trends and prices on Warframe.market or other trading platforms to determine an appropriate price range. Take into account the rarity of the item, as well as its demand and the amount of supply available. Offer bundles or discounts for multiple items, such as Prime parts or mods, to incentivize buyers to purchase more from you at once. Be patient and willing to negotiate. Sometimes the best price comes from being flexible and willing to meet in the middle.

By keeping these tips in mind, you can price your items fairly and negotiate effectively, helping you to sell faster and maintain a reputation as a fair and reliable trader in Warframe.

7. New Players and Making Sales
While I agree that new players generally don't know where and how to make sales, Tip #6 addresses this by suggesting you undercut listings on the market:
warframe.market[warframe.market]

In-Game Trading
You can also trade directly in-game at a relay like Maroo's Bazaar. Keep in mind:

In-person trading can be more cumbersome. Prices often deviate from those on warframe.market.

For Sellers
As a seller, you might be able to sell at a higher price than the current low bid on the market.

For Buyers
As a buyer, you may find a seller who isn’t aware of the current warframe.market price, allowing you to get a good deal.

Trading Safety in Warframe
Trading is an essential part of Warframe's economy, but with it comes the responsibility to be cautious and aware of potential scams or unsafe practices. Whether you're using the in-game market or trading in-person at a Relay, it’s crucial to protect yourself and engage in fair transactions. Here are some key tips to ensure a safe and smooth trading experience:

1. Stick to Trusted Trading Platforms

Warframe.market: This external website is one of the safest ways to trade. It shows item listings with current prices and allows you to interact with players based on their offers. Be sure to:

Check item descriptions: Make sure the item you're buying or selling matches the description and that the trade is genuine.
Use the "Trade History" feature: This can help you track previous transactions and ensure you're dealing with reputable traders.
In-Game Trade: Trading directly in-game (like at Maroo’s Bazaar or other relays) is common, but it comes with its own risks. Be cautious when trading outside of trusted platforms and ensure you:

Confirm item details: Double-check item names, mods, and quantities before confirming.
Avoid high-value trades without verification: If you're trading valuable items, it’s a good idea to confirm through a safe method or check previous trades to ensure the player has a good reputation.
2. Be Aware of Scams

Scams are rare but can still happen. Here are some common ones to watch out for:

Item Switching Scam: The most common scam involves a scammer switching the item in the trade window before both players confirm. They may pretend to offer a rare item, only to swap it out with a common or less valuable one once the trade window opens. Always double-check the items in the trade window before accepting. []Fake Currency or Items: Scammers might try to trick you with offers of rare mods or items that don't exist or are not what they claim. Only trade items you recognize and verify that their value matches market rates.
  • Underpricing Scams: Some players will try to sell high-value items or Prime parts at a price that's too good to be true. They may convince you to accept a deal with the promise of "special offers," but it’s often a trap. Always check current market prices before agreeing to any trades.

3. Trade Etiquette

Clear Communication: Always be polite and respectful in your trade negotiations. This helps build trust and ensures that both parties are on the same page. If you're not comfortable with the trade or the price, politely decline and try to negotiate a better deal.
Don’t Rush the Trade: Take your time to inspect both the items and the offers in the trade window. Confirm the quantity, quality, and rarity of the items before proceeding.
Offer Fair Prices: Always try to be reasonable with your pricing. If you're selling items, price them according to the current market value, and avoid inflating prices excessively. This can help your items sell faster and keep the community healthy.
4. Protect Yourself with Screenshots

If you're trading large quantities of items, rare mods, or valuable equipment, it’s a good idea to take a screenshot of the trade window before accepting the deal. This can help you resolve disputes or confirm the contents of a trade if there's ever a question about it later.

5. Avoiding Real-World Trades

Warframe strictly prohibits the exchange of items for real money or any outside transactions. Engaging in such trades can lead to account suspension or banning. Stick to in-game Platinum or resources when conducting trades to avoid breaking the game’s terms of service.

6. Report Suspicious Players

If you encounter a player who is engaging in scammy behavior or violating the community's trust, be sure to report them to Digital Extremes via the in-game report feature. This helps keep the trading environment safe for everyone.

7. Use Trusted Tools to Check Market Prices

To ensure you’re trading fairly, always use trusted platforms or in-game market tools to check the average price of items before buying or selling. This helps you avoid both overspending and underselling. If you're new to trading, getting into the habit of price checking will help you build a better understanding of the market.

Final Tips for Maximizing Platinum Income
Be consistent with farming and trading; the more you play, the more you earn. Stay updated on popular builds and upcoming events to maximize returns.
  • Aim for fair pricing for quicker sales and higher player satisfaction.

Platinum Farming by Player Level

Beginner Level (Mastery Rank 0-5)
At this level, your options for farming are limited, but you can still make some Platinum by focusing on easier methods that require minimal investment.

  • 1. Sell Mods: - Mods to Farm: Basic mods like Vitality, Redirection, and Serration drop frequently and are useful to other players. - Method: Complete low-level missions, especially Exterminate and Capture, to gather mods and resources to sell. Join public missions to improve efficiency. - Market Tip: Price these mods lower, as they’re more common and accessible to new players.

  • 2. Orokin Vault Runs: - Location: Deimos – Orokin Vaults are hidden in certain missions on Deimos. - Reward: Vault runs yield corrupted mods, which are valuable, especially if you get rare ones like Fleeting Expertise or Narrow Minded. - Team Up: Join other players for these runs since Orokin Vault keys require collaboration.

  • 3. Prime Part Farming (Low-level Void Fissures): - Focus on Easy Missions: Stick to Exterminate and Capture Void Fissures. - Relic Types: Choose Lith and Meso Relics, which are easier to obtain and open. - Trade Tips: Focus on completing and selling common or uncommon Prime parts. Save up Void Traces to refine Relics later.

Intermediate Level (Mastery Rank 6-12)
At this stage, you gain access to more valuable missions and items. Begin exploring more consistent ways to farm Platinum.

  • 1. Farm Prime Parts (Meso & Neo Relics): - Relics: Farm Meso and Neo relics, which drop in mid-level missions and tend to contain more valuable parts. - Mission Types: Defense, Survival, and Interception missions work well at this level. - Trade Tips: Try to sell full Prime sets for higher Platinum.

  • 2. Mods and Endo Farming: - Endo Sources: Use missions like Rathuum on Sedna and Sorties for Endo rewards. - High-Demand Mods: Mods like Intensify, Streamline, and Continuity sell well at this level. - Selling Tip: Consider converting Endo to buy Syndicate mods or trade popular mods you find.

  • 3. Forma Farming & Selling Blueprints: - Method: Run Void Relics to earn Forma Blueprints or purchase them with Syndicate Standing. - Demand: Forma is in high demand, and it’s a low-risk way to earn Platinum regularly.

  • 4. Participate in Events & Nightwave Missions: - Nightwave Rewards: Gain exclusive mods and items that sell well. - Event Items: Event-specific rewards are often rare and sell for high prices after events end.

Advanced Level (Mastery Rank 13-18)
Now you can farm high-demand items and focus on more specific Platinum opportunities, including rare mods and special items.

  • 1. High-Level Prime Part Farming (Axi Relics): - Missions: Aim for high-level Fissures in Axi or Neo tier missions. - Efficiency Tips: Defense and Survival missions in the Void yield high Axi Relic drops. - Trade Tip: Focus on rare Axi relic drops and sell rare Prime parts or complete Prime sets.

  • 2. Sell High-Demand Mods: - Rare Mods: Mods like Narrow Minded, Overextended, and Transient Fortitude can sell for higher Platinum. - Method: Farm these from high-level missions like Sorties, Arbitrations, and Nightmare missions. - Riven Mods: If you get Rivens from Sorties, consider selling them, especially for popular weapons.

  • 3. Trade Riven Mods: - Riven Market: Farm Rivens from Sorties and roll them with Kuva to increase their value for popular weapons like Kuva Bramma or Ignis Wraith. - Price & Demand: Use Warframe.market to check current prices based on popular weapon demand.

  • 4. Elite Sanctuary Onslaught for Rare Relics and Focus Farming: - Rewards: Gain Relics, Endo, and focus, which can be traded for Platinum-generating items. - Method: Higher levels yield better relics, especially Axi, which contain valuable parts.

Veteran Level (Mastery Rank 19+)
Veterans can take on the most challenging content and have access to nearly all valuable items. High-risk, high-reward methods allow for efficient Platinum farming.

  • 1. Arbitrations & Steel Path for Endo and High-Level Mods: - Endo Farming: Earn large amounts of Endo and rare mods like Adaptation in Arbitrations. - Steel Path: Steel Essence can be used to buy valuable items like Umbra Forma. - Sellable Mods: Some rare Arbitration mods sell for high prices due to their usefulness in endgame content.

  • 2. High-Demand Riven Mods: - Sortie Farming: Sorties provide consistent Riven Mods. - Popular Weapon Rivens: Popular weapons like Kuva Zarr, Nataruk, and Arca Plasmor have high-demand Rivens. Focus on Rivens with desirable stats for these weapons. - Market Pricing: Check demand and price higher for well-rolled Rivens.

  • 3. High-Level Prime Parts (End-Game Relics): - Focus Relics: Run high-level Axi Fissure missions with a team to maximize Prime part drops. - Full Sets: Selling full sets of rare, popular Prime Warframes (like Nova Prime or Rhino Prime) can yield significant Platinum.

  • 4. Farm & Sell Event-Exclusive and Syndicate Items: - Event Rewards: Tactical Alerts and operations yield exclusive items, such as mods, skins, and weapons. - Syndicate Standing: Use Syndicate Standing to purchase mods and weapons, especially augment mods, which sell well among players.

General Tips for All Levels
Stay Consistent: Regular farming and trading sessions will yield consistent Platinum. []Use Warframe.market: Price-check items before selling them to avoid underselling.
  • Check the Demand for Popular Items: Stay updated on popular builds and items, as demand changes with each update.

You're absolutely right—I’ll update the guide accordingly. Thanks for the heads-up! 😄 My intention was more along the lines of using Warframe Market as a reference for the typical prices people pay.

It's a different strategy than undercutting on warframe.market with a new listing.

Using the market, you let the buyers come to you, but you're guaranteed less profit.
Using direct sales, you can get a better deal, but it'll take longer and more savvy users will see a bad deal and walk away, potentially hurting your reputation.

While I agree that new players generally don't know where and how to make sales, #6 does address this by undercutting listings on the market. That said, you can also trade in-game at a relay like Maroo's. In-person trading can be more cumbersome and prices generally deviate from warframe.market. As a seller, you may be able to sell higher than the current low bid, and as a buyer, you may find a seller that doesn't know the current wm price and get a good deal.
