[Red Dead Redemption] All achievements

The difference between the remastered and the original game is that there are no achievements for multiplayer here, as well as multiplayer too. You'll get most of the achievements on your way to 100% progress. But if you complete activities in random sequence, you will have to replay some of them again. Because some activities are unlocked at a specific stage of the game, or after completing another activity. In this guide, the sequence of playthroughs is in order to complete each activity 1 time. The first priority is to complete the story and then get 100% progress. After that you will have a few remaining achievements.

From the start of your playthrough, do the achievement of completing 20 story missions on a one horse. Do not hitch and let it die. Do a manual save after each mission, in case your horse dies - load. You can get on and ride other horses/wagons, important is that you do not hitch them up. For completing 20 missions on one horse you will get the achievement “Spurred To Victory”, this is the only one missable achievement in the game.
Do not clear the hideouts, do not play in side activities until you decide to unlock all the suits. Because for specific suits you need to complete activities in specific areas. And all hideouts must be cleared in one game day.

You can track the amount of completion percentage of a game in menu -> stats -> total. The 100% includes the following:

If you don't commit crimes, then ~80% you will get this achievement. If you still don't get this achievement after 100%, then do random events, replay clearing hideouts.

Pay attention to this achievement from the start, as it is almost impossible to kill your horse in the early missions.

Horseshoes mini-game

You must win at least once for the activity to count. Do it at McFarlane Ranch, as completing this activity at the ranch unlocks one of the stages to unlock the “Bollard Gang” suit. There are achievements related to this activity in the game.

Set a minimum bet of $1. The higher the bet, the harder it is. In order to throw a horseshoe on the peg, you need to make a perfect throw. Before you throw it, aim for the peg. The peg should be between the left side of the horseshoe and your finger at the moment of aiming. After aiming, throw the horseshoe with a perfect throw.

Blackjack mini-game

You need to win at least one chip to make the activity count. The game is played endless, once you are win at least 1$ (and have won back the first bet), you can leave the table. Play in Rathskeller Fork, as completing this activity there will unlock one of the stages to unlock the Treasure Hunter suit.

Poker mini-game

You must win against all opponents for the activity to count. It is completed in Blackwater, because completing this activity in Blackwater unlocks one of the stages to unlock the “US Army” suit. There is an achievement related to this activity in the game.
You can wear the “Elegant Suit” suit to hide one card during the deal and cheat your opponents in the game. If you are detected cheating, you will be called to a duel. After winning the duel, you can return to the playing table and continue playing, but there will be one less opponent. You can kill all opponents in a duel, leaving only one. But to achievement you need at least 3 players at the table.


It is played in Blackwater. It is important to have more than 3 players at the table. Make a save before doing this achievement. Place the highest bet. There is a chance that the other NPCs will also make the maximum bet. If you lose, load the save and so on until you complete the achievement.

Liar's Dice mini-game

Must win at least once for the activity to count. Do it in Casa Madrugada, as completing this activity in Casa Madrugada unlocks one of the stages to unlock the Bandit suit. There is an achievement related to this activity in the game.

Easier to complete if there is only 1 opponent at the table. Always call the dice that you have. Your opponent will always accuse you of bluffing and lose as a result.
If there are several opponents at the table, always keep in mind how many dice are left. If your opponent calls a number, the sum of which is higher than the total number of dice on the table - accuse him of bluffing.
