What's the purpose of this guide?

To give a spoiler-free list of every missable in the game. If you refer to this guide, chapter-by-chapter, then you'll hit every timed event without needing to have the entire game spoiled.

With three exceptions, it's possible to 100% the game without a guide provided you complete every optional task when it appears. Two people entries are highly missable, and one timed quest is gated by several other optional tasks.

How many quests are missable?

Ten quests will be cancelled if not completed before their deadlines.

Are weapons and armour missable?

Yes. With each chapter old equipment is removed from the shops and stronger gear is put on sale. There is no need to hang onto old weapons and armour as they will get out-classed statistically by newer gear, and there are no completion-metrics tied to finding every piece.

Try not to sell accessories as a good handful of them cannot be bought or crafted elsewhere.

What else is there?

You obviously cannot earn the Nightmare trophy unless you play the game from beginning to end on Nightmare difficulty or Inferno.

Hard and fast rule. Complete the 10 timed quests as they appear and record the 2 easily missed people entries. Then you will be fine to pick up everything else on your own.

Chapter 5 Deadline: 1 Quest, 1 People Entry

Progressing past the main objective "Prepare to speak with the Chief," will end the chapter and close off access to one quest and one people entry.

Chapter 6 Deadline: 2 Quests

Progressing past the main objective "Explore the ruins of Ribe," will end the chapter and close off access to two quests.

This quest is easily missed as it will not trigger unless five separate objectives have been completed beforehand.

• Find the townsfolk on Inlet Isle in Carnac Waters.
  
• Liberate the Southern Fort in Ozmid Expanse.
  
• Then rescue the two townsfolk in Ozmid Expanse that appear afterwards.
  
• Liberate the Southern Ruins in Sonnelia Basin.

Chapter 7 Deadline: 6 Quests, 1 People Entry

Progressing past the main objective "Prepare for the mission," will end the chapter and close off access to six quests and one people entry.

Progressing past the main objective "Approach the center of the vortex," will end the chapter and close off access to one quest. Do note that this happens without any prompt, unlike previous chapters

Before the final boss all of the records listed under Total can be 100% completed, but with two exceptions:

Before setting off on your next adventure, there are six townsfolk to speak to in Carnac and Carnac Surrounds. This will complete your People Entries log.

I don't know if the 20 Potions achievement is missable on Nightmare, with them being 1 use and gone, but going for 100% with the help of this guide, and you can reach it, just, with the 20th being in Chapter 10, on the Farlundeim map. Phew!

I definitely recall getting Mandy's quest in chapter 10 so its likely not missable, only gated by other events.

Anyone know if the "Hang in There, Sandy" crew convo is missable? I reached the final vortex in chapter 9, but before going into the vortex I warped away and did some more side stuff before making a return towards it and the convo triggered after going past a few more vortices. At the same time I also got Mandy's quest about his treasure out of nowhere.

Also in the Epilogue while saying goodbye to everyone, go to the lighthouse dungeon where the first runestone is and activate it again to get a hidden cutscene. This doesnt count towards anything- its just a cool easter egg.
