The Fishing spots of Webfishing

A guide for to all the different ways to fish on the web in webfishing because I have met people who were blissfully unaware of the wide variety of fishing locations in the game currently.

The Ocean

The Ocean is the easiest body of water to find by the fact that webfishing is on an island (I know shocker). The ocean has many docks which serve a ideal fishing locations for those not wanting to fish on the sandy beaches. The ocean is home to many saltwater fish. The docks are the most common areas where you will see other players due to being the only area to get saltwater fish without using the salty lure.

The River

The River can be found next to spawn, the river has many bridges which can serve as pristine fishing spots if you don't wish to set up on the river banks. The river is home to all of the freshwater fish. People fishing in the river will likely be set up next to spawn due to the being easy to sell buy and sell as well as the quest board being nearby.

The lake and Ponds

The Lake is the landlocked body of water next to spawn. The lake has a population of freshwater fish. Unlike the previously mentioned locations, the lake has a couple of benches for people to sit on while fishing.





The ponds are similar to the lake in that they are a landlocked bodies of water with the main difference being that they are much smaller. The ponds usually have less people using them allowing for a more isolated fishing experience.

The Well and Toilet

The Well is a prop which can be placed by the player which allows them to believe that there fishing water is more special than those using public water sources. The well allows for freshwater fish however does not allow for special event fish such as the Unidentified Fish Object.( I could be wrong about other fish )





The toilet is a prop which can be placed by players wherever they wish. The toilet not only allows for people to fish but it also allows for the player to flush. The toilet allows for freshwater fish however does not allow for special fish.



The toilet does allow for toilet gators so be careful.

Private Islands

Private Islands are unlocked through upgrading your camp tier in the shop. You can go to your island by accessing the prop menu and then interacting with the flag.
The Private Islands allow for all of the previously mentioned methods of fishing depending on the size of your island.

The Void

The Void is a glitched location which has been well documented by other guides if you wish to try it out. The Void can give you saltwater fish.

The Void Part II : Electric Boogaloo

The shop and aquarium both allow you to fish freshwater fish while out of bounds, you can go out of bounds by using a boxing glove to punch a friend over the walls or alternatively you can use a private flag placed out of bounds close enough to be accessed while in bounds.

With the newest update 1.09, there is a misc fish that you can now catch exclusively in this area. You will know when you can catch from when you get a message in chat saying that 'You feel a light breeze' after you walk to far away from the building.

Alternatively, I believe you can enter through a void hole, personally I haven't found one myself but it looks like this...
(turns out literally 5 mins after I said this, I found one)
so I believe you can find them on the highest elevation on the misc bait shop side of the map, If you can't see the hole, you can still see the black particle effects and still interact with the hole

Underground

You can go underground by clipping through any raised terrain using the private island method.

It may be easier to just go to the void through the shop/aquarium if your trying to get the fish,

also which bone is it by?

the bottomless hole is the new update, portals spawn that lead to the void (you can still just glitch through) and there's a new fish you can get only in the void

Hey there was a bottomless hole I found over by the platforming challenge area for the final spectral bone. I’ve never seen it before, it must’ve just spawned. I went in and it was a black void. I tried to go back to it after and the hole was gone. Has anyone experienced this?

I don't believe there is anyway to increase your odds based off of the fishing spots other than fishing where it is raining.
