Pristine Cut: New Route's & All Achievements guide

A guide for any new players and all returning players who wants to play through pristine cuts new content without having to mindlessly search each dialogue !!

Routes

for any new players heres how to get the 3 base routes :p
damsel: dont take the knife with you, save the princess, resist the narrator trying to kill you
prisoner: take the knife with you, save the princess, resist the narrator trying to kill you
spectre: take the blade and stay silent, attack the princess without talking to her, dont drop the blade and slay the princess, receive your reward and choose 'this is bullsh' and "do you have any idea on how we can get out of here?" and " anything to get out of here"

Damsel 3:

Rescue the damsel, then either

• (explore) "what do you want to do?" and (almost) get the deconstructed damsel
  
• "Okay clearly something is happening here.."

This will lead you to having the "Voice of the Paranoid"
or

• Lead her to the exit
  
• "All we need to be happy is each other.."

This will lead you to having the "Voice of the Opportunist"

Prisoner 3:

In prisoners route,
Give the prisoner the blade and wait for her to kill herself
Pick "Leave the basement to claim your reward", and either

• "Pick I don't want to die again" / "I dunno, im pretty happy"
  
• "(Explore) Is there really no other way?"
  
• "Give the blade to the voice of the skeptic

This will lead you to having the "Voice of the Broken"
You can also accept the narrators happy ending multiple times to obtain the "Voice of the Cheated"
or

• (explore) "What do you suggest then?"
  
• Slay yourself

This will lead you to having the "Voice of the Paranoid"

Spectre 3:

once in spectres route,

• Attempt to slay/grab the spectre

This will lead you to having the "Harsh" princess
or

• Do not grab/slay the spectre

This will lead you to having the "Gentle" princess
Pick (explore) "what do you want me to do"
Allow her to possess you
Slay the princess while shes in your body

Achievements

Major spoilers warning

i recommend having played the game + finishing the new routes bfr reading this part

Happily ever after

• Shadows on the wall: Requires you to have the voice of the Paranoid, (can be obtained from normally playing through the route with para, but if u didnt get it:) Try to get up from your seat, "I can't seem to get up", "You said he? who is he?" and choose the option that mentions smitten
  
• Game night: requires you to have the voice of the Opportunist and just play through the route as normal
  
• We don't have to let go: when down to the final flame, pick “we dont have to let it go out”
  
• I meant it: ask her what she wants to do / take her hand as you leave the cabin
  
• Its finally over: slay the princess

Cage

• No exit: take the blade but dont use it
  
• The riddle of steel: Requires the voice of the Paranoid, take the blade then choose one of the talking dialogues (ex hi), try to cut yourself free, keep cutting and cut yourself free.
  
• Allegory of the cage: Requires the voice of the Broken/Cheated, toss the blade away
  
• Free will: Toss the blade, go through the route as normal. choose “(explore) you know its funny… “, drop her

Dragon

• You dont have to keep picking the same option: pick “there has to be something for us to do other than wait” multiple times
  
• Wait wait wait wait wait!: with the "Harsh" princess, when your back in your body, Tell her to stop ( "wait wait wait im back in my body stop!" ) / Say nothing
  
• An opportunist at heart: with the "Gentle" princess when your back in your body, Turn around and leave the cabin without her
  
• Princess and the dragon : slay/get slain by the princess
  
• What once was one, then was two: leave the cabin

Apotheosis

Requires the voice of the Contrarian:
Obtained from taking the blade with you and defying the tower and then killing yourself

• Leave something to be remembered by: Pickup the blade, and charge into oblivion, hurl the blade at her
  
• A window to the unknown: Embrace your new goddess, make her suffer with you
  
• Grace: (can be obtained with either voices): Embrace your new goddess, suffer alone

Requires the voice of the Paranoid:
Obtained by not telling the chap1 princess abt her ending the world, Do not take the blade in towers chapter and choose (explore) “no i wont tell you”, stay silent then refuse her

• Courage and madness: Take the blade, choose “No we have to push harder”
  
• A Goddess Unraveled: Take the blade, do not waver (aka dont pick an explore option), fight back

(didnt know "embracing your goddess" locks you into a window to the unknown and prevents you from getting "a goddess unraveled", oops ^^")

Den

Requires the voice of the Stubborn:
Obtained from taking the blade in the beast chapter and dodging until you get the option to wait and strike her back

• Heroic Strike: Take the blade, step into the dark ready to fight, take the opening and strike
  
• She eats he eats: Step into the dark ready to fight, embrace your instincts

Requires the voice of the Skeptic:
Obtained from dodging all of the beasts attacks until you can no longer dodge

• Hunger pangs: Do not take the blade, lure her out, turn back for the blade
  
• The lion and the mouse: Do not take the blade, approach her and offer your hand
  
• coup de grace: Take the blade, lure her out, approach her with the blade behind your back, slay her

Fury

Adversary > fury:
Get to the adversary and go in unarmed, fight her then give up when given the option / leave to retrieve the blade (do not pick the blade up once your upstairs) either stay or try to leave

• Going the distance: In the adversary fight her with unarmed and always choose to get up, then in the fury choose either of the “Round 3” options, keep pushing forward.
  
• A hint of feeling: Bring the blade, let her torture you, slay her
  
• A new leaf in a weathered book: Let her torture you, ask her to leave with you, offer your hand

Tower > fury:
Take the blade with you and defy the tower, before the broken kills you slay the tower instead

• Quantum beak: Take the blade, let her torture you or try to fight her, then shed your vessel
  
• A weathered heart, held in ribbons: (can be obtained with either fury), do not take the blade with you and let her end you (for adversary>fury = fight the adversary unarmed, dont give up both times, give up when the fury tortures you)

Others:

• A song to remember: collect all the cgs
  
• Your new world: Be cruel to all the princesses in your route (either slay them, hurt them or , when confronting the shifting mound select the text with the red outline, destroy her

Note: these are the specific princess that has the red outlined text that ive found/heard abt

• Deconstruct the damsel
  
• Killing happily ever after
  
• Killing the den with your humanity intact
  
• Killing the den within the tunnel
  
• Killing the wild
  
• Leave the (kind) dragon behind
  
• Dropping the cage
  
• Cut yourself free from the cage
  
• Stab the apotheosis in the eye
  
• Make the apotheosis suffer
  
• Unravel the apotheosis
  
• Killing the fury
  
• Leaving without the fury
  
• Killing the eye of the needle
  
• Throw the wraith into the abyss
  
• Find the stranger
  
• Either razors
  
• Either greys

note: Thorn and MoC are the only chap3 princesses that dont have red text variants
betraying the witch also does not give you a red text variant

also yes ik i didnt add a few of the achievements like "an open heart, or a watchful one" and etcetc, since you get them after talking to shifty i decided to not add them, but if anyone can't seem to get a specific achievement feel free to leave a comment and ill try to help :> (also any red text princesses found will be added to the guide!!! sincerest gratitude towards everyone who commented those ^^)

unfortunately im not gonna compile a list for the gallery completion, i just simply dont have the time + i alrdy forgot how i got most of the cgs so yeah :,) but if anyone needs any help with certain cgs feel free to type it in the comments and i can try to help !!

How do I unravel the Fury?

I'm almost in the 100% and need some help did someone know how to get the achievement of maximum effort (i dont know if this is the exact translation due to Im not english native speaker so my Steam is in spanish) I only know that is an achievement of the Fury path but Im confused because I already Full gallery, please help :(

@Kelibath im unsure, u should have been given the option to close the door bfr approaching the hand, can u tell me what choices u chose bfr retrieving the blade?

When I went back to retrieve the blade, I had no option to leave the door open? Just "close the door behind you" as usual as a sole option when facing the hand on the floor. When does that come up? Is this because it wasn't a fresh save? (Path 4 of 5)

these are all shifty related achievements (as in u get them *after* talking to shifty) but if u need an indication of which ones these are specifically:

an open heart a watchful one: bring the cage (either routes should be fine)
an empathetic heart: leave with the dragon princess
an empathetic heart held in stencil: try to slay/get slain by the dragon princess

again keep in mind these are only obtainable after your talk with shifty and you have to get to the 'hero and the princess' title card for all these to unlock

@Meiriona odd it shouldve worked cus the only other achievement ud get in that path is the one where u kill her, heres a more detailed guide i used when i first got the achievement, "talk to the fury and then attempt to speak in the next prompt after she makes your organs explode (do not die), after your rewound tell her you never stopped caring and extend your hand to her)
