"Vintage Scares" guide!

A simple guide to unlock the new achievement called "Vintage Scares"

TL;DR

The achievement is unlocked at the start of Chapter 3 during Halloween by visiting Heavenly Toys which is located at the end of the dark rooms after you give Boris some bacon soup.

INTRODUCTION

A new achievement called "Vintage Scares" was added in the recent QOL update that says you need to visit Heavenly Toys during Ink Demon's Eve (a.k.a. Halloween).

This achievement can be unlocked on October 23 - October 31, however, you can change the date on your computer if you don't feel like waiting. (Credits to suitkace for the info)

HOW TO GET

• The achievement is unlocked in Chapter 3, so from the main menu, choose a save file and then go to "Select Chapter" to choose Chapter 3, Rise and Fall.
  (If it's locked, scroll down to the LOCKED section)

• At the start of the chapter, you need to find 3 bacon soup for Boris to progress.
  Here is the locations for all of them.

• After opening the door, keep moving forward and get the flashlight to go through the dark rooms.
  Make sure to be near Boris so he doesn't stop moving.

• Once you reach the end, talk to Boris to give him your flashlight.
  Wait for the door to open and go through.

• Now you reached Heavenly Toys and your achievement should unlock soon after.
  Walk to the center of the room to make sure you unlock the achievement.

LOCKED

If Chapter 3 appears LOCKED when selecting a chapter, that means you haven't unlocked it.
The obvious solution would be to play through Chapter 1 and 2 to unlock Chapter 3, but there is an alternative to unlocking Chapter 3 without playing the previous Chapters.

• First you will need to look up online for a BATIM save file that has all chapters unlocked.
  If the save file you downloaded looks like this, right click to copy the file.
  

• After downloading it and copying the file, press Windows Key + R and search %appdata%
  

• Above of the %appdata% folder, you should see AppData, click on it.
  

• After going to AppData, open the LocalLow folder.
  

• Inside LocalLow, open the Joey Drew Studios folder.
  

• Now select Bendy and the Ink Machine.
  

• Out of the two files that are inside, select Saves.
  

• Lastly, paste the file you downloaded inside the Saves folder.
  IF YOU DON'T WANNA LOSE YOUR CURRENT SAVE FILE, COPY THE EXISTING FILE AND PUT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR NOW.

if you missed the time frame like i did, you can also just change the date on your computer to halloween and it works just fine!
