HOW TO Find And Backup Your Save Files

unfortunately silent hill 2 remake don't have cloud save If you want to transfer your save files to another device or recover them after formatting your PC, you can do so by following these steps.

Backing up your save data

Click on Windows + R buttons on your keyboard or open run from your windows search
then type %appdata% and click on ok



a window will be opened you can see in your folder path your in roaming folder just go back one step to appdata folder ( you can do it by just clicking on appdata )



now open the local folder and fallow this folder path
Local -> SilentHill2 -> Saved -> SaveGames -> 76561198809267261



you should see all your save data in 76561198809267261 folder like this



copy all files inside this folder and back them up by flash drive hard drive even telegram whatsapp discord will word

How To Use Them On Your Other Device

you need to access 76561198809267261 folder again
you can do it by repeating the first step the just paste the files inside it and now all your saves has been recovered
*note you have a save limit in the game so i don't know if putting save files that exceed the game limit will brake the game or result in a problem to be safe just empty the file then pest all your saves but don't empty the file if you have saved you don't want them deleted .
