How to open console

The console allows you to enter commands to modify gameplay, spawn items, or troubleshoot issues. Keep in mind that using any console commands will disable Steam achievements for the current playthrough. Follow these easy steps to unlock powerful features and take control of your SCP experience!

Enabling the Console

In this section, you can cover the steps to enable the console through the game’s settings.

Step 1: Enabling the Console in the Main Menu

• Go to the Main Menu.
• Navigate to Options → Advanced.
• Enable Console by toggling the option.
• Exit the options menu.

Important:
You won’t have the option to enable console commands in the Advanced tab while in-game. You need to Quit to Main Menu or Save & Quit to see this option.

Step 2: Opening the Console

Once you've enabled console commands:

• Start a New Game or Load Game.
• Press F3 or Fn + F3 to open the console.

Once the console is open, you can type in commands to alter the game. Here are some useful ones:
