overhaul mods have given this game new life and worth a play again

I wish this game could be enhanced somehow. I agree with most of what I read here. 1. The interface is poorly done, and does indeed create unwanted deployments. In the normal CIV environments, I can actually see from which city a completed action is occurring from, not so here. Even so discouraged, I did try to play out a full game in learner mode, but after 400 turns in... (quite an investment of trial) the game became "sticky" and slowed down considerably... finally on one turn I got an error message and the game crashed out on me. I feel this game has a great deal of potential, and should be reworked and reintroduced, taking in all the issues mentioned here by avid CIV fans. Please improve this and relaunch it! Again, I love the music and the theme, but the interface in game play needs significant improvement.

excellent review..I've been playing Sids' Games for yearsbut i am sorry this game as in Xcom his new developer teams are saddly missing the whole idea of good gaming and prefer to be a pain in the assai and ui are both terrible the mouse jumps around and usually ends up creating a bad move real irratating sorry sid you failed ...

I agree with this video...

I completely agree with this video. I just really wish the AI weren't so passive. It ruins the entire game, especially when it comes down to winning and i end up just waiting out the turns to an anticlimactic victory. No last ditch assault from all my enemies, or heroic defense of my peoples from an invasion force 10x bigger than my own.
