Introduction
This list of events is completed for game version 181.13, as I've artificially edited map files to force spawn all events found in \Iratus_Data\StreamingAssets\DB\events - although there were many I haven't ever seen despite of my 800h of playing Iratus, so it might be that some of them are disabled programmatically. Some are also slightly bugged, there will be mention in description for given event what's wrong with it.

General info and hints
Spoiler Alert!!! The guide reveals pictures for all events and their outcomes, so if you wish to discover Iratus: Lord of the Dead entirely on your own stop reading further.


Events marked by asterisk prefix in name give permanent buffs for minions, like ex. "4. *Abandoned Experiments". A trick to find all such quest - search in your browser for ". *" phrase, without quotes.
The number in name of Floor [X] means how many such events occur on the given floor.


Phrase like "minions take ~X% damage" means percentage of their max vigor is lost, and if the minion is wounded enough it will be killed.


All minions given as a reward for an event have level 1.


If an event option offers a battle usually it's worth to take it, as you'll get usual battle rewards - experience for Iratus and minions, random parts, souls, items and artifacts. These battles don't trigger graveyard buildings though.
How to quickly find encountered event in this guide
If you play English version of Iratus:LotD simply use your browser search box for choice text option shown in the event to quickly navigate to it, ex. for the "Trapped Miners" event the phrase to look for would be say "Have a zombie take care of this". If you use your native language for the game, the events are grouped by floor, and each has attached screenshot so you can find your event that way.
1st Floor [2]
1. Trapped Miners

  1. Dig them out and make them dead
    On success(75%) you get 4 random, common parts, on failure(25%) minions in the current squad take ~25% damage.

  2. Move past
    End the event, nothing happens.

  3. Have a zombie take care of this
    You get 4 random, common parts.

2. Caged Slaves

  1. Harvest their bodies
    You get 6 random, common parts.

  2. Harvest their souls
    You get 32 Diggers' Souls

  3. Let a Dark Knight speak to them
    For next 3 battles enemies lose 25% vigor.

3. Poisonous Mushrooms

    All options give 4 common bones, and in addition:
  1. Study them
    On success(75%) fully restored mana, on failure(25%) for 1 battle spells cost twice as much normally.

  2. Let your undead poison their weapons
    25% increased attack for current squad for next 2 battles.

  3. Let a Shade drop a few mushrooms into the water supply
    Enemies lose 33% attack for next 2 battles

4. Dangerous Hallway

  1. Have your least valuable minions walk first
    The minion on rightmost position in the current squad is killed.

  2. Find a longer way around the passage
    On success(75%) safe passage around the hallway. On failure(25%) you are forced to choose option 1.

  3. Have a minion float over the trapped floors
    Pass the hallway unharmed.

5. The Beast

  1. Order the beast killed
    On success(50%) 3 random, common parts, 100% experience for Iratus, and lose 25 mana; on failure(50%) minions take ~25% damage.

  2. Retreat back without alerting the creature
    End the event, nothing happens.

6. *Guarded Stash

  1. Attack them
    Battle against 2 normal and 2 elite Conscripts, when won permanent buff to stats for all minions:
    1. Study explosives gives +2 attack.
    2. Study chemicals gives +5 vigor.

  2. Retreat
    End the event, nothing happens.

  3. They look scared of the dark...let Banshee handle this
    Same reward as in option 1, but without having to fight.

7. Great Chasm

  1. Forge a bridge using bones from your stockpile
    You lose 1 to 4 bones, depending how much you have; you need to have minimum 1 bones to pick this option.

  2. Levitate your minions across with an expensive spell
    You lose up to 25 mana; if you have less than 25 you'll lose all of it.

  3. Teleport your minions with risky magic
    minions will take ~%25 damage.

8. *Patrol of Living

  1. Proceed with the attack
    Battle against 1 normal and 1 elite Guard plus Miner. When won you gain 200% experience for Iratus, and 3 stat points for minions in squad.

  2. Avoid the group
    End the event, nothing happens.

9. Dwarven Taskmaster

  1. Attack them no matter how bleak the odds
    Battle against elite Dwarven Warrior and combination of 3 among Miners/Hunkies/Conscripts, when won you'll get 2 random minions.

  2. Retreat!
    Minions take ~20% damage.

  3. Let a Skeleton assassinate the dwarf
    5 random, common parts and non-consumable artifact for Iratus.

10. Supplies Cart

  1. Ambush the cart!
    Battle against 2 common Guards, elite Guard and elite Taskmaster. If won you'll obtain 2 non-consumable artifacts for Iratus.

  2. Retreat
    End the event, nothing happens.

11. Maggots Orb Worshippers

  1. Slay the mortals and gather their bodies
    You get 4 random, common parts.

  2. Let your minion touch the orb
    Random minion in the squad takes ~50% damage, and you get non-consumable artifact.

  3. Study the sphere with your magic
    Iratus loses 25 mana, and gains 150% experience.

12. Ancient Mural

  1. Weave the spell
    Requires 20 mana. On success(75%) Iratus gains 100% experience, on failure(25%) nothing more happens.

  2. Ignore the mural
    End the event, nothing happens.
2nd Floor [3]
1. Alchemists' Laboratory

  1. Travel to the field laboratory and ambush the alchemists
    Battle against 2 Dwarven Warriors and 2 Dwarven Alchemists (one normal, one elite), if won you can choose:
    1. Flood the nearest armor storage - for the next 3 battles enemies lose all armor.
    2. Use it as a distillation agent - you get 4 common bones.

  2. Avoid the acid vats
    All encountered Dwarven Alchemists will have permanent buff +15 vigor, +5 accuracy, and +2 attack.

BUG - although the description for flooding the armory states both armor and resistance will be destroyed actually only armor is affected.

2. Dwarven Tawern

  1. Death should sober them up!
    Battle against common Dwarven Warrior and Musketeer plus elite Trader and Geomancer. If you win choose:
    1. Ransom the barrels back to the dwarves - 2 weapons and armors of common or uncommon quality, and also non-consumable artifact for Iratus.
    2. Poison the brew and let another group stumble across it - enemies lose 15% vigor and sanity for the next 2 battles.

3. *Prisoners' Uprising

  1. Send one of your Brides to snipe the dwarves from hiding
    You get 6 random, common parts, and enemies lose 25% vigor for next 3 battles.

  2. Wait for the battle to finish, and then attack the victor
    Battle against wounded enemies - one normal and one elite Berserker, Trader, and Heavy Firethrower. If won minions in the squad get 4 stat points.

  3. Ignore this conflict
    End the even, nothing happens.

4. *Abandoned Experiments

  1. Spend the time to figure out what was happening there
    Minions in the current squad lose 2 initiative for 2 battles. All minions get permanent +8 accuracy buff.

  2. Drain magic from this apparatuses
    Restore up to 100 mana.

  3. Try to blindly reactivate the experiments
    On success(75%) minions in the current squad restore 100% vigor, on failure(25%) nothing happens.

POSSIBLE BUG - in the option 3 event .json file suggests that minion on 1st position should take ~80% damage on failure => there is entry "actionParam":["GET.squad, FILTERPOS.-1, HIT.80"], I suppose someone mistakenly put -1 instead of 1 there. Well, the bug benefits the player, so I don't mind ;P

5. *Mana Wellspring

  1. Order the attack!
    2 battles one after another - 1st against 2 Stone Golems 2 Golden Golems(normal and elite each), 2nd against normal and elite Geomancer plus elite Oracle. If won all minions in the current squad get 4 stat points, and Iratus gains 100% experience and 100 mana.

  2. Your Liches can drain some magic from this wellspring
    Restore 50 mana.

  3. Leave this place before they notice your presence
    End the event, nothing happens.

6. Dwarven Crematorium

  1. Fight!
    Battle against normal and elite Berserker, and elite Heavy Flamethrower. If won 4 random, common parts, and for the rest of the floor Iratus get 25% extra chance to get parts after battle.

  2. Withdraw!
    Random minion in the current squad is killed.

7. Dwarven Factory

  1. You can't stop him! You will need to face the reinforcements!
    2 battles one after another, 1st against elite Dwarven Warrior, common Hammerer, Oracle and Musketeer, 2nd against normal and elite Berserker plus common Treasurer. If won you'll get 1 part of each type(10 total) and common quality.

  2. Have a Headless Hunter drag him back here!
  3. Perhaps a well-placed arrow will stop him in his tracks
    Both option 2&3 have the same output - battle against elite Dwarven Warrior plus common Hammerer and Oracle. If won you'll get 1 part of each type(10 total) and up to uncommon quality.

  4. You can't stop him! Sound the retreat!
    Minions in the current squad will take damage equal to ~25% of vigor.

8. Fleeing Carriages

  1. Pursue them without caution
    On success(70%) 4 random, common body parts, and 2 non-consumable artifacts for Iratus. On failure(30%) minions take ~50% damage.

  2. Pursue them cautiously
    On success(30%) 4 random, common body parts, and 2 non-consumable artifacts for Iratus. On failure(70%) you'll get nothing, but also there won't be any harmful effects.

  3. Let your Ghoul handle this
    You get 2 non-consumable artifacts for Iratus, no parts.

9. Fungal Farms

  1. Focus on destroying medicinal mushrooms
    Enemies lose 20% vigor for next 2 battles.

  2. Focus on destroying food mushrooms
    Enemies lose 20% sanity for next 2 battles.

10. Steam Tank

  1. Have the Zombie shell its armor; [WARNING!!!this option is bugged, and causes the game to hang! See remarks below.]
    Gain 3 uncommon or better weapons, and 1 uncommon or better armor.

  2. Have Lich employ its magic
    Gain 1 rare or better weapon and 3 uncommon or better armors.

  3. Have a Skeleton ambush the tank
    Gain 2 uncommon or better weapons and armors, but Skeleton is killed.

  4. Let a Mummy curse the tank
    Gain 6 random, common parts.

  5. Fall back!
    Avoid the encounter without harm.

BUG - there is missing dot in the "actionParam":["weapon.3.24","armor.1.2.4"] which describes action for picking Zombie's route.
It can be easily fixed on someone's own, just find and open 1_ev10.json file in any text editor(Notepad++ recommended), then search for "weapon.3.24" and change it to "weapon.3.2.4".

11. Magical Inhibitor

  1. Attack the device directly
    Battle against elite Dwarven Warior plus 2 common and 1 elite Alchemists. You cannot cast spells during it, but you can use potions. If you win there are options:
    1. Study - non-consumable artifact for Iratus.
    2. Destroy - Iratus gains 100 mana.

  2. Send one of your minions on suicide mission
    Random minion in current squad is killed, Iratus gains 100 mana.

12. Tribute

  1. Ask for an item
    You get 3 random, common parts and non-consumable artifact for Iratus.

  2. Have them funnel you fresh bodies
    You get 5 random, common parts.

  3. Have them spy on your foes
    Minions in current squad gain +1 initiative for 3 next battles.
3rd Floor [2]
1. *Abandoned Armory

  1. Add the armor to your stockpile
    You get 2 rare or better armors.

  2. Minions could use this
    Minions permanently deal 5% more damage in battles.

2. Holy Weapons Stash

  1. Use them to arm your minions
    You get 6 weapons of uncommon or rare quality, but minions in current squad will deal 5% less damage for 3 next battles.

  2. Drain them of magical energy
    Pay 20 mana, then for next 3 battles Iratus restores additional 10 mana after fight. If you don't have 20 mana this option is inactive.

  3. Let a Mummy strip these blessings
    You get 3 uncommon or better weapons, and 40 mana.

3. Crazy Sculptor

  1. Purchase some of his works
    Random minion in current squad is dealt ~40% damage, and you get 2 non-consumable artifacts for Iratus.

  2. Kill him and take his wares
    On success(75%) you get 2 non-consumable artifacts, on failure(25%) you get nothing.

  3. Hire him
    You obtain 1 non-consumable artifact for Iratus.

4. Negotiations With Mages

  1. Engage them. Show them the might of necromancy!
    Battle against elite Shield Maiden, Rogue, common and elite Swordsman. If you win minions will be completely healed.

  2. Parley with them
    You go into 2d part of the event, with available options:
    1. Barter with mana - you lose all mana.
    2. Barter with artifacts - you lose one random artifact, can be consumable one. If artifact currently equipped by Iratus is drawn you won't lose it though.
    3. Barter with knowledge - random Lich in current squad is killed.
    4. Engage them. Show them the might of necromancy! - the same battle as in part 1 option 1, with additional reward of fully refilling mana.

POSSIBLE BUG - artifact equipped by Iratus is not lost if drawn in part 2 option 2. I won't mind it though.

5. Unhappy Mercenaries

  1. Let a Vampire handle this
    Enemies lose 15% vigor and sanity for next 2 battles.

  2. Let a Dark Knight speak
    Enemies lose 20% vigor for next 2 battles.

  3. Maybe a Banshee?
    You get 3 weapons up to rare quality.

  4. This is pointless - just kill them all
    Battle against common Barbarian and elite Rouge plus common and elite Crossbowman. If won Iratus gains 200% experience.

6. Holy Man

  1. Scout his location personally and attack him and his escort
    You need to have 50 mana to unlock this option, it starts battle against elite and common Shield Maiden, Swordsman, and elite Bard. If won Iratus gets 150% experience, random non-consumable artifact, and loses 50 mana.

  2. Avoid this matter
    End the event, nothing happens.

7. Locked Passage

  1. Attempt to locate opening mechanism
    On success(70%) minions in the current squad gain +1 initiative for next 3 battles. On failure(30%), they lose 2 initative for 2 next battles.

  2. Continue on your journey
    End the event, nothing happens.

8. Disguised Vampires

  1. Show them that you are a friend of their kind
    You get a Vampire, and 2 bloods of at least rare quality.

  2. Begin diplomacy
    On success(50%) you get a Vampire, on failure(50%) go back to other options, and diplomacy becomes unavailable.

  3. Starve them out. Kill their food source
    Battle against common Shield Maiden, 2 elite Rogues, and common Crossbowman. If won you get a Vampire.

  4. Abandon this pursuit
    End the event, nothing happens.

9. Souls Of Walled Up Alive

Part 1
  1. Get a Zombie to crack this open
    Go to part 2 without any penalties.

  2. Order your undead to dig open the wall
    Minions in current squad lose 2 initative for next 2 battles. Go to part 2.

  3. Continue with your conquest
    End the event, nothing happens.

Part 2, all options require enough mana. Initiative loss from part 1.2 is carried over to the total result of part 2.
  1. Spend 10 mana to extract Diggers' Souls - on success(25%) you gain 75 souls, on failure(75%) none.

  2. Spend 20 mana to extract Diggers' Souls - on success(50%) you gain 50 souls, on failure(50%) none.

  3. Spend 30 mana to extract Diggers' Souls - on success(75%) you gain 25 souls, on failure(25%) none.

  4. You can't waste your energy on this - end the event.

10. *Abandoned Torture Chamber

  1. Spread this power
    Minions in current squad receive 15% damage bonus for next 3 battles.

  2. Focus this power
    Random minion in squad permanently gains +10 attack and dread.

BUG - the description suggests that the minions will be getting hit harder, but that's not the case - I've checked it several times in battles. It is just bugged description of the effect.
4th Floor [0]
1. Abandoned Magical Equipment

  1. Let a Dark Knight search the area
    4 armors of at least uncommon quality.

  2. Let a Lich search the area
    Iratus gains 25 extra spellpower for 2 next battles.

  3. Let a Fallen Dhampir search the area
    Enemies receive 20% more damage for next 3 battles.

  4. Search the area yourself
    Random item(trinket) for minions, and the minions in current squad lose 2 initiative for next 2 battles.

  5. You don't have time for this
    End the event, nothing happens.

2. Untamed Mana

  1. Absorb the mana
    Gain up to 100 mana. You need to have at least 10 mana initially.

  2. Tame the mana
    Iratus gains 20 spellpower for next 3 battles. Requires 60 mana.

  3. Continue through the magical maelstrom
    Minion on 1st position receives 10% more damage for next 2 battles. Minion on 2nd position loses 25% vigor. Minion on 3rd position deals 15% more damage for next 3 battles. Minion on 4th position recovers 100% vigor.

BUG - description for 3rd minion is bugged, it is the minion, not enemies
who gains 15% more damage.


3. Summoning Daemons

  1. Send a Ghoul
    Iratus gains 25 spellpower for next 2 battles, and random non-consumable artifact.

  2. Send a Lost Soul
    Iratus gains 20 spellpower for next 3 battles, and random non-consumable artifact.

  3. Employ your magic
    Iratus loses 50 spellpower for 2 next battles, and all mana is depleted.

4, Tomb Of Archmage

  1. Animate only the bones
    Youl get a Skeleton and 4 parts(weapon, armor, skull and bones) of uncommon quality. Requires 25 mana.

  2. Animate only the will
    You get a Wraith and 4 parts(rags, 2x ectoplasm and ash) of rare quality. Requires 50 mana.

  3. Animate the bones and the will
    You get a Lich and 4 parts(skull, bones, ash and rags) of legendary quality. Requires 75 mana.

  4. Leave this place
    End the event, nothing happens.

5. Discarded Bodies

  1. Attempt to reanimate the bodies
    On success(50%) you get 2 Zombies, and 2 rare parts of each - weapon, armor, blood, and flesh. On failure(50%) battle against one normal and two elite Failed Experiments, if won you get 4 fleshes and bloods, each of up to rare quality.

  2. Just butcher the bodies for parts
    2 blood and flesh parts of uncommon or rare quality.

6. Caged Wizards

  1. Have a Blood Phantasm influence them before you open the cages
    For next 2 battles enemies lose 20% vigor and sanity.

  2. Free them
    Battle against 2 normal and 2 elite Mad Mages. If won you get 5 random common parts, and 20% damage buff for minions in the current squad for next 2 battles.

  3. Leave them there
    End the event, nothing happens.

7. Hidden Research Outpost

  1. Order the attack
    Battle against common Golden Golem and Sorceress plus elite Warden and Conjuress. If won choose one of:
    1. Employ necromancy - you get 2 Infested minions.
    2. Take what you can of their research for more in-depth study - Iratus gains 150% experience.

  2. Avoid the place
    End the event, nothing happens.

8. Elemental Trials

    All trial options give buff for next 3 battles for the minions in the current squad if you win battle against base team of common Living Armor, Warden, and Spellthief plus elite:
  1. Trial by fire
    Blade Mistress. The buff is 25% increased damage.

  2. Trial by earth
    Shadow Elf. 15% less damage received.

  3. Trial by air
    Storm Caller. +5 initiative.

  4. Trial by water
    Conjuress. +15 accuracy and evasion.

  5. Continue on your way
    End the event, nothing happens.
5th Floor [1]
1. *Library Of The Order

  1. Look for any books with magical aura
    50% chance for 100% experience for Iratus and 6 stat points for minions in current squad, 50% chance for restoring up to 100 mana.

  2. Castle Plans! There must be some here!
    All minions permanently gain +2 initiative.

  3. Pick a few books at random
    50% chance to get non-consumable artifact, 50% chance for nothing.

BUG - for option 3 the description is incorrect, event .json chance states it is 50% chance for both results, not 25%.

2, Magister's Secrets

All of these options are regarding only Magister's 1st stage
  1. Find out more about his current plans
    Grand Magister loses all initiative.

  2. Anything you can learn about the man himself?
    Grand Magister loses all blocks and wards.

  3. Anything you can learn about his combat skills?
    Grand Magister deals 20% less damage.

3. Dwarven Remnants

  1. Have a Blood Phantasm subvert their rage
    2 armors, 2 weapons, and 4 bloods, each of uncommon or rare quality.

  2. Retreat through the shadows
    Avoid the encounter, nothing happens.

  3. Face them head on!
    Battle against elite enemies - 2 Hammerers, Musketeer, and Geomancer. Nothing special after winning it, just usual battle rewards.

4. Sacrificial Organs

  1. Have a lich play the organ
    Random Lich in current squad is killed, and Iratus gains 200% experience.

  2. Have a banshee play the organ
    Random Banshee in current squad is killed, and enemies lose 25% sanity for next 2 battles.

  3. Have a skeleton play the organ
    Random Skeleton in current squad is killed, and you get 2 random minions.

  4. Have a dark knight play the organ
    Random Dark Knight in current squad is killed, and minions in current squad receive 20% less damage for next 3 battles.

  5. Whatever dark god might inhabit this instrument, you have no time for them
    End the event, nothing happens.

5. Stone Guardians

  1. Reduce them to rubble!
    Battle against elite Stone Golem, 2 elite Gargoyles, and common Light Elemental. If won:
    1. Break off a piece - minions in current squad regain 100% vigor.
    2. Drain the crystal - restore up to 100 mana.

6. Forbidden Blood Magic

  1. Bind his power to your will
    For next 3 battles minions recover vigor equal to 20% of damage dealt.

  2. Face him head on!
    Battle against common and elite Knight, common Standard Bearer, and elite Inquisitor. If won same bonus as in option 1.

7. Sabotage Food

  1. Have a Black Widow poison the food
    For next 2 battles enemies lose 20% vigor.

  2. Have a Lost Soul curse the food
    For next 2 battles enemies lose 20% sanity.

  3. Spend time to sabotage the rations personally
    Battle against elite Knight and Mercenary Captain plus common Paladin and Standard Bearer. If won you get both bonuses from both above options.

  4. Retreat
    End the event, nothing happens.

8. Mastering Dark Arts

  1. Reveal the secrets of rust
    Enemies lose all armor for next 3 battles. Requires 40 mana.

  2. Reveal the secrets of corruption
    Enemies lose all resistance for next 3 battles. Requires 40 mana.

  3. You don't have time
    End the event, nothing happens.
6th Floor [2]
1. Brewing Storm

  1. Cast a spell to fortify against the storm
    Requires 25 mana for safe passage.

  2. Use ectoplasm to infuse against the weather
    Requires 1-5 ectoplasms for safe passage.

  3. March against the winds
    Minions in current team gain +3 initiative for next 3 battles, and lose ~25% vigor.

2. Burried Bodies

  1. Raw physical force!
    4 random, common parts, and minions in the current squad lose 5 initiative for next 2 battles.

  2. Risk your troops
    Battle against elite Hoplite and Monk plus common Adept and Plague Doctor. If won 8 random, common parts.

  3. You don't have time for this
    End the event, nothing happens.

3. *Dark Ritual

  • Apex of Power
    6 stat points for minions in the current squad.

  • Apex of Dread
    +6 dread for minions in the current squad permanently.

  • Apex of Savagery
    +6 attack for minions in the current squad permanently.

4. *Feral Ghoul

  1. Attack the risen!
    Battle against two elite Vikings plus common Justice and Adept. If won you get permanent buff for Ghouls(+10 vigor, +8 accuracy, +4 attack), and for other minions same buf, but half of the amount(5,4,2) for next 3 battles.

  2. Try to steal from the ghoul's lair
    On success(50%) you gain 12 random, common parts. On failure(50%), battle against 2 elite Hoplites and common Amazon, with no additional rewards afterwards.

  3. Retreat quickly
    End the event, nothing happens.

5. Mad Necromancer

  1. Try communicating with him
    50% chance for 500% exprerience for Iratus, 50% chance to get one, common skull.

  2. Dissect him for parts
    You get one legendary bones and one legendary skull.

  3. Feed him to your minions
    All minions receive 15 extra vigor for next 2 battles.

6. Overwhelming Ire

  1. Give in to the ire!
    Battle against 2 elite Monks plus common Plagure Doctor and Healer. If won for next 3 battles Iratus gains 50 wrath at the start of a fight.

  2. Resist the temptation
    For next 3 battles Iratus loses 50 wrath at the beginning of a fight.

7. Grave Robbers

  1. Order your undead to crack the crypt
    Battle against elite Justice and Amazon plus common Ronin. If won another battle, against elite Hoplite and Justice plus common Viking and Healer. If won too you get random, non-consumable artifact for Iratus.

  2. This is not worth your time
    End the event, nothing happens.

8. Cemetery Offerings

  1. Order your troops to take whatever they can carry!
    2 new options appear:
    1. You will take everything for your stockpiles! - battle against 4 elite Gargoyles. If won you get one part of each kind, and up to rare quality.
    2. Retreat! - event ends, and minions in the current squad take ~25% damage.

  2. Leave the offerings. You have bad feelings about this...
    End the event, nothing happens.
