This is a little guide on how to make the A.I. cash in Money in the Bank in Play Mode, and this works when doing A.I. vs. A.I.

Step 1.
Head over to Options, Roster, MITB Management and make sure the correct title is assigned to the briefcase, and set A.I. Cash in to "On"

Step 2.
Head over to options, then gameplay and set mid match and post match run-ins on. The A.I. will either cash in Money in the Bank in the middle of the match, or after it, so it's important to have it on. You can have entrance run-ins on or off, it doesn't matter. The A.I. won't ever run in on each other anyways

Step 3.
Head over to "Balancing" in the gameplay option, and put Mid Match Run-In to 7, and Post Match Run-In to 10. This will have a realistic feel and will let your match play out without being certain which one the A.I. will do.

Step 4.
Place the Champion in a Normal Singles Match, DO NOT edit anything. The only thing you're allowed to change is the ring announcer, signature/finisher speed, arena and referee, but other than that, do not do anything in the custom match rules setting. You can only edit what you see on this screen here.

Final Step: What the game doesn't tell you
Now, in order for the actual cash in to happen, the champion has to be "severely damaged" meaning red on two limbs, so red head and red body for example. So you will want to put your champion against someone who will definitely do damage to them, and also not end the match too quickly. You want a decently long match, so placing the difficulty on legend is your best bet, as well as adjusting the balancing sliders to ensure a long match.
