How to pick your assist in 2 steps

1) press L3, this will turn your right stick into a radial menu that contains the assists 1 to 12, press R3 while the right stick is centered to toggle the assists 13 to 22, press L3 to close this radial menu



2) after selecting your first character, move the cursor over the second character you want to choose, BEFORE confirming your selection, move your right stick menu towards the assist you want to use, then press and release R3 BUT HOLD THE STICK IN POSITION UNTIL YOUR SECOND CHARACTER AND YOUR ASSIST IS SELECTED, after your assist is selected you can let go of the right stick, the radial menu will close automatically
