Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged: 100% Achievement Guide

Guide for all of the 26 achievements available in Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged.
The achievements are listed in chronological order so you can scroll along while you play. Achievements for Spain might unlock earlier for you depending on your playthrough.

Most of them are story-related and will unlock automatically in the course of the story but some can be missed. I have marked these with MISSABLE in the guide.

Truth Bomb
Misjudge a moment to calm someone's nerves.

Café de la Chandelle Verte: Examine the dead body, then talk to the waitress. You will have to give three aswers:
Are you a doctor? - Thumb down
Pour me a brandy - Thumb down
Is he dead? - Thumb up
She will faint and the achievement unlocks.




Paris in the Fall
Join forces with a Parisian photojournalist called Nico.

MISSABLE

Everyone's Buzzing
Try to prank as many people as you can.

Paris: This achievement will only unlock very late in the game but you need to start early. After you get the buzzer from the man in the costume shop, you will have to use it with everybody you can talk to. So always pick this item from your inventory first during dialogue with a new character.
Don't forget to talk again to the street worker near the café, the man you encounter after leaving the sewer and the flower lady in front of Nico's apartment after you have received the buzzer.
The last person for unlocking this achievement is the soccer fan on the train to Scotland.




Khan's Manuscript
Track down an assassin and uncover a medieval mystery.

MISSABLE

Social Work
Get to know all the locals on holiday.

Ireland: The achievement unlocked for me after I talked to the boy outside and three of the four people inside the pub as well as the bartender. Maybe bugged. There is also one more person near the castle up the hill.

Indecent Proposal
Pinball, pimples and puke.

Ireland: Order and drink up two beers at the pub, then order one more.

Peagram's Gem
Recover an ancient artefact from Lochmarne Castle.

Medical Attention
Enjoy a private health care experience.

Hospital: Talk to everybody about Marquet. When you are in his room, before talking to him, examine the medial record at the bed, the machine on the left and the drip.




Crune Raider
Saved by a surprise cat burglar.

Fish Food
Word of warning to the wise.

Paris: Right after the tripod was stolen, go to the police station and talk to Rosso. If he says he is busy, go back to the museum and talk with Lobineau about whatever topic is left. Then go back to the police station. Rosso should have time for you now and tell you a story.

Impressing Nobody
Gatecrash a secret meeting.

Montfauçon: Save the game after you have destroyed the wall in the catacombs because there will be a death scene. Do not peek through the gap in the wall, directly walk down the stairs.




Templar Shadows
Witness a gathering of powerful conspirators.

Line of Duty
Hear some sad and surprising news.

Paris: Right after the scene in the catacombs, go to the police station and talk to the clerk.




Hide and Sneak
Slip past an overprotective gardener.




The Hidden Chalice
Recover an ancient artefact from the Costa Cálida.




Bad Language
Avoid the wrath of an outraged hygiene thief.




Klausner's Cave
Beat the assassin to a Templar artefact in Syria.

Repeat Offender
Waste yet another opportunity to decorate.

Site de Baphomet: Copied toilet key in your inventory that does not look real. Call Nico three times to disctract the worker but do not use the key with his paint bucket. Achievement unlocks after the third call.




Baphomet's Secret
Decode an image from an ancient Templar statue.




Candle Light
Find a hidden artefact inside an ancient candle.




Curse of the Vasconcellos
Reunite the Countess with her long lost family.

Shared History
Enjoy a new conversation with an old friend.

Train: Talk to the old lady about every topic and every item in your inventory (I had to click some items twice) before you leave the compartment.




Action Hero
Climb atop a speeding train and rescue Nico.

MISSABLE

Coping Mechanism
Think like a child to defeat an ancient demon.

St. Ninian's Church: Use the red nose you have been carrying from the very beginning and the clay pipe found in the pile of rubble with the gargoyle statue.




Broken Sword
Finish the adventure of a lifetime.

Fish food achievement unlocking guide is incorrect. After the museum robbery, you must talk Rosso about the tripod. Exiting the conversation will unlock the achievement.

For "Social Work", all it takes is to get to know everyone's name. The trickiest one is the Old Man's. He is Ron, and you get this name from Michael the landlord by showing him the bar towel. Everyone else's name comes naturally by exhausting the dialog options.

You have to use the bucket, yes. Then call Nico but don't use THE KEY with the bucket while the worker is at the phone with her.

Seems like the 'Social Work' trophy is unlocked when you learn the names of everyone in the pub, one way or another, by default they don't have names when you hover over them, but by speaking to all of them and showing items.

Maguire (if he counts) and Fitzgerald you'll likely unlock through regular gameplay, the Landlord and the Farmer's names don't change, and you can't talk to the Fiddler, so it's just Doyle, O'Brien and Pat that seem to matter. Doyle and O'Brien I think can be gotten easily enough (will have to repeat to get the specifics), only Pat is the difficult one, so using the towel on the Landlord was how I also unlocked it, if there even is another way to do so.

Very useful. I fully agree with the previous comment on how to achieve the 'social work' trophy, I have just tried this on the PC and it works.

So, I was having trouble with the Social Work trophy. I talked to everyone in the bar and it still didn't pop. I searched online and found a solution on an xbox achievement comment. Apparently, after you exhausted all conversations and then Fitz gets taken away and his uncle is in the bar, what you do is show the landlord the towel you took. After I did that, the trophy popped. Hope this helps people with that trophy. PS, I'm playing on PS5 and it worked after I did what I said. Seems like that trophy is a tad bit hard to get for everyone.
