[2024] Deadlock | Boost FPS

This guide is about how to significantly increase your FPS in Deadlock (By 30-70 will increase your FPS, looking at your PC).

1. [Basic] Removing shadows, dust, and everything else

1. Go to your Steam library

2. Right click on “Deadlock”, in the window that appears click on “Manage”; “Browse local files”

3. After which go to the path:

\game\citadel\cfg

4. We will need the file “video.txt”, copy (make a duplicate of the file) in any folder or on the desktop, in the future we will need it.

5. Download CFG (Config) from w0nxyApex - GitHub[github.com], from the archive insert into the folder “cfg” two files:
“video.txt” and ‘autoexec.cfg’.

6. When you have already moved the two files into the “cfg” folder, open the moved “video.txt”, and replace the value of “VendorID” and “DeviceID” from your past duplicate file.


(Don't forget to put your screen resolution)

2. [Optional - Important!] Launch options

1. Go to your Steam library

2. Right-click on “Deadlock”, in the window that appears click on “Properties”; and enter this value in “Launch options”:

• -m_rawinput 1 +exec autoexec.cfg -console -noassert +@panorama_min_comp_layer_cache_cost_TURNED_OFF 256 -convars_visible_by_default -high -dev -preload -fullscreen

(Don't forget to change the mouse sense to your own via notepad in the “autoexec” file from the “cfg” folder)

Do not change the settings in the game, otherwise everything will be lost and you will have to do everything from scratch.

it does not change the fact that this config increases fps, other players are fine with it, even if they have a weak iron. maybe you did not do everything according to the instructions or just criticize so much

678p is the native res, pre FSR upscaling. again though, this config is dogshit and is seemingly just a copy paste from an Apex Legends config.

This config is a meme, half the commands aren't even present in the game files and the creator just shrugs off any questions or criticism with "don't use it then"

Worked for me, used the AMD settings from the readme. Looks better, performs better.
