Download and install all the four Matto Mods

Part 1 - Introduction

This guide will show you the shortest and most accurate steps to download and install the Matto Series. This series of four mods was created by the Matto Team from Germany. The four mods include new weapons, new enemies, new allies with voice acting, new maps, and much more.

Part 2 - Download Baby!

Browse to the following website MATTO Series and download the four Matto mods.

Part 3 - Browse & Create

Navigate to the following location using Windows Explorer: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FarCry (the "C" drive may vary depending on where you have installed Far Cry 1). Press the following keys on your keyboard simultaneously: Control + Shift + N. Name the new folder "Mods" (without the apostrophes).

Part 4 - Copy Baby!

Copy all of the downloaded files from Part 2 into the newly created "Mods" folder in your Far Cry directory (C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FarCry\Mods).

Part 5 - Profit & Enjoy!

Well done! Start Far Cry 1 through Steam, and you will see the option "Mods" in the main menu, where you can launch the four Matto mods. Enjoy!
