In August 1992,
Citybus agreed to loan the 3-axle Leyland Olympian from Transport for London, UK, to conduct an assessment of the subsidiary to test the situation of luxury, larger capacity, air-conditioned buses in London. Finally 331 was delivered to the Capital Citybus of North Sea Group Bus Company, located in east London, for a trial of this vehicle. After intense judging, the bus company also took the opportunity to try to use this car in service. and operated route 180 during Selkent use and registered the local license plate as J248WWK. In British service, the number of seats in the upper deck was reduced by 6 to 51 to meet British requirements. It was subsequently licensed in Hong Kong on December 31 of the same year with the license plate FK5095.
