i will teach you how to abram OPTIMALY

item? a bit out dated

LIFE STEAL AND STRIKE ARE good, but mele charge is THE BEST. never reload with abrams becouse his reload is rly slow!!. infuser also good for big bursts. the rest is more of the same with most characters. damage for winning health for not dying. duration extender is NUTS if ur having trouble hitting the charges since it extends the duration, meaning more time to curve towards the nearest wall for a stun. last tip is collosus. its expensive but 600 health off the bat is really good! especialy with your health steal being so good already


EDIT: i made this guide on release so the items here are a bit outdated, but tip on what items to pick.

when picking builds try to find ones that explain why they picked certain items(when u hover over an item it might give u some extra text the build creator added) its preety good so u acc know why some items are there instead of just following whatever is popular. but also not so bad to go with whats popular just learn as u use it so ur always improving!

play style(early game)

early game(laning) you wanna mele and stay behind walls a lot. u have a shotgun wich means u can do big burts of damage unlike if u had a fast fire rate gun. also dont be super scared of going closer to the enemy since u have built in healing. MELE THOSE MINIONS u get mele items first so its good PLUS the enemy cant deny those souls so DO IT. if the enemy is being very agressive stay back near the tower and shoot the minions.i dont recomend going into fights early until your third level up.

early mid game-up to late game, EDIT

What i like to do, when I down the guardian on my lane, is to GANK a friend on a lane next to me. Abrams has a lot of abilities that piss off the enemy if they don't know you're coming. The good oll reliable is. ram them and MID RAM press 1 so u activate siphon while they can't move. If u have ult u can start with ult then ram for extra stun to maximize the no fun factor for your victim. Also, u will hear how the F key (parry) is your HARD COUNTER. However, most will not know this exists, so you are good to smack them with your copy of the great Gatsby. However, if by some chance the enemy knows what parrying is. mele FIRST then the enemy will be on guard and will prepare a parry against u (keep in mind this is after u found out the enemy knows what a parry is) mele NEXT TO THEM. This will draw out their parry but won't stun u, their cooldown is up but u can punch again usually the enemy doesn't parry after that since they are so shocked how u an Abrams player managed to form any kind of strat that isn't just unga punch. Also punch around corners, u have a lot of control when u heavy mele so u can do all sorts of spins. AND MOVE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.they have to shoot a gun u have to mele take advantage of that! And last thing, your ult CAN BE USED for escaping, it goes really fast and goes really far, so if you are in a sticky situation use it. a cooldown on your ult is sometimes better than upping your respawn .cooldown.

since reduction now can make it so if the enemy spams parry nd u have no extenders u get parried,make sure if the enemy has stun reduction nd if they do either bait, wait for ur extender(it extends stun) or just shoot em

my feedback is, get rid of extra regen/infuser.Swap melee lifesteal and close quarters locations.Swap berserker and spirit strikes location. Get lifestrike EARLIER, definitely before leech. It will take a 177 heal to 390 (I just tested it). Feel free to add me if you want to talk about it, I'm an Abrams main with 180 Abrams rounds. My build is Punchy Mc'face Puncher -organized, if you want to compare.
