PQ3 Adventure: Gong's Sushi Surprise

What's up fellow gamer? This guide is all about Gong's Sushi Surprise adventure in Puzzle Quest 3. You're sure to catch some useful information in the sections below, but if not you got a raw deal. There's nothing fishy here, just general information to hopefully allow you to enjoy the adventure more. If you have read some of my other game guides you know I enjoy a good pun or two, so I'll cast plenty out and try to make you smile.

Gong's Sushi Surprise

Apparently Gong is hungry, again, or is Gong ever not hungry? He wants to eat "ten tackles", or rather tentacles, like those found on the Arboleth. I don't eat Sushi, but I'll do my best to roll your fillet of fish puns in. Just don't get all finicky on me!

Gong's overland buffet provides 4 energy per day, allowing you to sail through the adventure on free energy in the 3 days, The adventure is replayable, so you can spring for energy at 50 gems per 5 energy, should you wish to finish it sooner, or simply play through it again.



The standard difficulties are offered for this adventure. Completing the adventure will net you some gems. If you're good enough go for the reel challenge!

Battles

The way forward is full of fresh food and fighting. The order is served below.

1) Cave Worm (1 energy)
2) Arboleth (1 energy)
Reward - 500 food
3) Centaur (1 energy)
4) Arboleth (1 energy)
Reward - 750 food
5) Liche (1 energy)
6) Ur-Ghoul (1 energy)

    Optional Scenic Route
    Reward - 1.000 food
    7) Dire Bear (1 energy)
    8) Arboleth (1 energy)
    Merchant

9) Arboleth (1 energy)
10) Dungeon (2 energy)
    

Reward - 1,500 food and 1,000 gold

Merchant Offerings

There doesn't seem to be any bait and switch going on here, but the merchant might try to lure you in! Eel let you decide if there is any bargains to be caught. The merchant can be found by taking the scenic route.
