Root tarafından
Introduction
Forza Horizon 4 on Steam does not natively support Moza steering wheels. However, with a simple workaround using the "X360CE • Xbox 360 Controller Emulator," you can get your Moza steering wheel up and running. This guide will walk you through the steps to set it up.

Hey everyone!
So, if you’re like me and have a Moza R5 Base with SR-P Lite Pedals, you probably noticed that Forza Horizon 4 on Steam doesn’t support it out of the box. Frustrating, right? But don’t worry—I’ve got you covered! I found a workaround using the "X360CE • Xbox 360 Controller Emulator," and I’m here to walk you through it step by step. Let’s get that wheel spinning!
Step 1: Grab X360CE
    1. First things first, download X360CE:
    2. Unzip the Files:
    • Once it’s downloaded, extract the files to a folder where you can easily find them.

Step 2: Setting Up X360CE
    1. Run X360CE as Administrator:
    • Right-click on x360ce.exe and select "Run as Administrator" (super important to avoid issues).

    2. Install Prerequisites:
    • First thing it will ask you is to install Visual C++. Just hit install or download and install form here[learn.microsoft.com].

    • Then go to Options > Virtual Device and install ViGM Bus Driver.

    • After that go to the next tab, "HID Guardian". And install the driver. (This is to hide your original Controller / Sim so the computer will not get confuse with two inputs.)

Step 3: Hooking Up X360CE to Forza Horizon 4
    1. Add Forza Horizon 4 to X360CE:
    • Click on Add Game and navigate to the folder that you have installed Forza Horizon 4.

    • Select the executable file (ForzaHorizon4.exe).

    • Then Select Forza Horizon 4 as the game in drop down menu.

    2. Add Moza to X360CE:
    • Select Controller 1 and tick Enable 1 Mapped Devices.

    • Then click on Add. There it will show you the devices that are connected to your PC.

    • Place a tick on your device and hit Add Selected Device.
Step 4: Mapping
Ok! Lets get to MAPPING!

    1. How to map?
    • Select a button in Xbox Controller and then it will ask you to select the button that you desire it to be in your Wheel Base or Pedals. For instance lets say you want to map Start button in your wheel to the button that is on the right side of Xbox Logo in the controller. select the controller button first. then when it asks for you to map the button, press start button on your steering wheel. That's it!

Do this as you want but make sure you won't assign any button to Stick Axis X or Y.

    2. How to map Wheel?
    • To map the wheel you need to the Stick Axis X or Y unassigned. Mapping the wheel is a bit diff than mapping buttons. Follow my steps.

      • Click on Stick Axis X Dropdown, and select Record.

      • Now you will see a red arrow indicating on the Xbox controller.

      • Pull your wheel all the way to right. That's it!
Step 5: Fine-Tuning Your Setup
    1. Launch Forza Horizon 4:
    • Fire up the game from Steam and head to the settings menu to check if everything’s working.

    2. Adjusting the Dead Zone:
    • I noticed the steering was super sensitive, so I had to create a bit of a dead zone in the middle. You might want to do the same, depending on how it feels for you.

    1. Consider 360 Degrees Steering:
    • If you’re finding it hard to control, try setting the steering to 360 degrees in the Moza Pit House software. This should make it a bit easier, especially for street driving.
Ongoing Tweaks
I’m still working on mapping the clutch pedal and finding that perfect steering sweet spot. Feel free to share your settings if you get it dialed in better!
Wrapping It Up
And that’s it! You should now have your Moza Base working with Forza Horizon 4 on Steam. If you run into any issues or find better settings, drop a comment here—let’s help each other out!

hello! I do everything according to your guide, but when I enter the game, the buttons are not defined. I would be glad if they helped me!
