100% Achievement Guide

A complete and easy-to-understand guide for getting all the achievements in English.

Intro

This is a quick guide for unlocking all the achievements. As there are no missable items, I suggest you to play a few times to enjoy the sounds and mechanics on your own before going for the achievements.

Most of the achievements are triggered only after finishing the song and recording it, so make sure it reaches the tape customization step to check if you got the achievement.

Good to know

You might notice most of these things while playing that will be helpful later:

• You can stack multiple items (but not on the floor, it needs to be in a single and valid space to create different sounds).
  
• Some unlocked settings modules usually don’t save their settings through each stage of a song creation. Pay attention to avoid assuming it is with a previously set weather or tempo, for example.
  
• There is a specific stage - I like to call it the island - that is great to do some specific achievements.
  
• At some point you will unlock a useful item to get any block in any stage. It looks like a slot machine and will be available at the top right corner. Click as many times as you want into the desired item until you fill the red meter, then turn the green handler to get them dropped into the stage.

Getting started

Casual first achievements you’ll probably get without doing anything special in one or two tries.

Debut
Create your first song

Finish a song and go to the tape customization after recording it.

Gearing Up
Unlock your first unlockable

Unlocked after saving your first song.


Practice
Make 10,000 sounds

Just play the game a few times and try to test different things. You unlock it automatically at some point.

Common achievements

Some of these might occasionally happen if you play a few times (even with some specific actions being required in order to be triggered).

ODDADA
Write ODDADA

In the stage with letters, put them in the right order to write ODDADA.

Advanced Chord
Build a tower with three empty cubes in a row

Put a stack of three empty cubes in any free slot.

A Song For All Seasons
Create a song using all three weather settings

After unlocking the Weather module use three different options in the same song.

Night Owl
Create a song using only night sounds

After unlocking the Weather module, use only the night (moon) option to create a song.

Curious
Destroy a cassette

After creating a song, add it to the discarding machine and destroy it by opening with the key and pressing the red button. You can create an “empty” song by skipping all stages to reach this step faster.

Rare achievements

If you reached this section you might have already achieved some of the following achievements. The best way to get most of them is using the slot machine to get any specific block and also good to be combined with specific stages.

ODDA People
Create a song with 123 house sounds

Insert as many houses you can through the stages.
Easier with slot machine in landscape/island stages.

Bird Music
Create a song with 123 bird sounds

Insert as many black birds you can through the stages.
Easier with slot machine in landscape/island stages. I haven’t tried ducks or other possible birds that might also work.

Skyscraper
Build a tower as high as possible

Put as many items as possible stacked on top of each other.
You might get it easier in this specific stage just stacking the already combined block groups into each other.

Adagio
Create a song with all levels on the slowest speed

After unlocking the Tempo module, use it to adjust every stage to the slowest speed. Pay attention to adjust it in all stages.

Wooooorm
Create a looong worm

Ducks create a worm-like sequence with 5 additional duck pieces when inserted in landscape/island stages. Use the additional ducks to generate even more worms by disconnecting one of them and putting in a new place. Connect a few worms to create a long one.

Yellow Song
Create a song using only yellow pieces

Use only yellow pieces. Pay attention to not keep already added blocks from some specific stages like the one suggested in Skyscraper.

Free Bird
Put 20 birds on a map

You must include all of the 20 birds in one stage. I recommend you to do it in landscape/island stages.

Absolute Pitch
Create a song in every scale

After unlocking the Pitch module you’ll be able to create songs in 4 different scales. Use it to select each of these scales in the next 4 songs until you unlock the additional pack of 4 scales. Use it to create 4 new songs using the new ones.

Collector
Fill the cassette holder

There are 20 spaces in your cassette holder, just fill it with tapes.

Sold Out
Unlock everything

There are 19 unlockable items (sometimes you can unlock more than 1 in a run, not sure if there is a rule for it).

Thank You
Listen to our final cassette

The last item you’ll unlock. Put it into your tape player and enjoy the credits.

hey @kotermark, I don't remember the exact number but it might be around 20 spaces connected. My suggestion would be to grab as many items yellow pieces as you can and then connect all together in a same final piece until you get the achievement.

I'm having issues with Wooooorm achievement. How do I generate enough pieces to create a long worm? Not enough with slot machine only. Help is very appreciated :(

@ariane some stages might have some items already included like trees, rocks or blocks. Just make sure you remove everything and use only yellow items.

for some reason i can't get the yellow pieces only one? I keep using only yellow but it won't work, any recommendations?
