HOW TO PLAY WITH DEADLOCK LEAKED HEROES [AND THEIR ABILITIES]

ALRIGHT, SO FIRST THING YOU WANT TO DO IS TO BOOT UP DEADLOCK AND SELECT SANDBOX GAME.

THEN OPEN CONSOLE WITH F7 KEY AND TYPE NEXT COMMAND: SELECTHERO HERO_"INSERT NAME OF THE HERO YOU WANT TO TRY OUT"

THAT'S IT. HAVE FUN.

List of unreleased heroes is next:

Some of them are more complete than others. Scroll down to see a short summary on each hero with a brief explanation of their abilities.

bomber

He uses the default MPC model, but he feels quite unfinished overall. Currently, there’s not much to explore; most of his abilities are just represented by icons and don’t function effectively. While you can try him out in the game, be aware that he lacks substantial content right now.

cadence

Unlike Bomber, Cadence is much more complete and features an actual model. He has four abilities:

Anthem – This ability plays music, which isn’t just background sound; it seems to provide an area-of-effect boost.

Silent Contraptions – This disarms enemies, but I found it can disarm you too.

Lullaby – This ability appears to put enemies to sleep while offering some health regeneration.

Crescendo – Though I tried this one in-game, it still lacks animations, making the experience a bit awkward.

Overall, while Cadence has more content than Bomber, he still needs some polishing.

nano

Next, we have Nano, She features full animations, a detailed model, and an icon. Nano has a set of abilities that you can use in the game:

Perched Predator – This ability sends a spirit cat forward to grab targets, causing an explosion if it catches a hero. You can manually trigger the explosion by pressing one.

Siamese Strike – Targeting an enemy deals damage and slows nearby foes, while targeting an ally reduces cooldown and recharge times.

Deadly Decor – This ability spawns a statue that steals health from nearby enemies, restoring health to itself and Nano. The statue activates only when Nano is nearby.

Queen of Shadows – The description isn’t provided, but ability number one pushes the target backward, which is quite effective.

Nano could be a fun choice for playing with friends, with a potential of the future release.

gunslinger

Gunslinger is a cool cowboy-themed hero. While not as complete as Nano, he features a nice-looking model, though he lacks animations at this stage. His abilities include:

Rapid Fire – This ability lets you select an enemy, and Gunslinger will automatically fire at them.

Rocket Launcher – This skill delivers a powerful blast; I tested it from a distance and it sent the target flying.

Tenacity – This appears to be a passive ability that remains active, though it’s unclear how upgrades will affect it.

Sleep Bomb – This ability puts enemies to sleep for a significant duration.

He definitely needs more development.

astro

Here we have Astro - a well-developed hero with a complete model and a set of interesting abilities:

Powder Keg – Place a barrel that explodes upon being shot or when it lands after being launched with a melee attack or bounce pad.

Bounce Pad – Drop a bounce pad that sends you and other heroes flying; it also deals damage to nearby enemies upon landing.

Hattrick – Throw a hat that slows and reveals enemies through walls.

Spirit Lasso – Use a lasso to grab an enemy and drag them along behind you, stunning them while slightly slowing Astro. The lasso’s duration is paused for two seconds if used immediately after a bounce pad.

kali

Kali is an animal-themed hero wielding a shotgun. While still quite incomplete, we can explore some of their abilities:

Oyo Blade – is incomplete and lacks animation.

Pack Hunter – This appears to provide a boost, enhancing mobility or attack.

Dust Storm – When placed on an enemy, it creates a swirling effect that moves around, requiring enemies to dodge it.

Trapper's Delight – This ability requires you to be close to an enemy, dealing damage over time.

Mirage is a unique hero that comes with numerous voice lines, featuring a full model and variety of abilities:

Tornado – This ability sends out a tornado that damages and lifts enemies into the air. It has impressive range, as it can hit targets quite far away.

Fire Beetles – You can launch fire beetles individually, which apply damage over time and life steal to enemies they hit. After the launch window, this ability goes on cooldown.

Whirlwind – Activating this ability envelops Mirage in a whirlwind, granting bullet evasion and increased movement speed.

Charge – This ability launches a projectile that tethers the first enemy hero hit to up to two other nearby heroes. Tethered heroes have restricted movement and share damage taken, which can lead to devastating combos.

rutger

Rutger, is less complete than Mirage and currently lacks builds in the game files. His abilities include:

Rocket Launcher – This ability blasts enemies, dealing direct damage.

Force Field – This creates a protective barrier that can push enemies back, giving you space to maneuver and shoot.

Cheat Death – This ability automatically activates when Rutger's health drops to a critical level, providing a second chance in battle.

Slork, is a water-based hero with a fish-like appearance. I do see similarities with a dota 2 hero slark, that pretty obvious I guess. His abilities are the following:

Rip Tide – This ability unleashes a water blast that travels in the desired direction.

Chomp – This allows Slork to latch onto an enemy, dealing damage over time.

Deep Embrace – In this ability, Slork transforms into a water form and explodes onto an enemy.

Ambush Predator – This ultimate ability activates automatically after a certain duration, causing Slork to turn invisible and disabling attacks temporarily. Once you move around enough, the ultimate becomes available again.

thumper

Thumper is one of the least developed heroes so far. While there’s a model, there are no in-game details, shop icons, or even placeholder icons for his abilities, which include:

Shatter – This ability creates an explosion when placed on an enemy.

Cannon Spike – This seems to set up spike strips that can hit multiple enemies. I tested it by placing several at once, and it effectively damaged all targets in range.

Badger Drone – This ability locks onto a single enemy and applies a lasting damage effect.

Vortex – This creates multiple large vortexes that pull enemies in, similar to the Tornado ability but on a larger scale.

tokamak

Tokamak is a blue robot character designed to complement BBop. His abilities include:

Hot Shot – This ability fires directly at an enemy.

Dying Star – Tokamak throws this ability and then jumps into the enemy, dealing damage upon impact. You can control the distance of the jump.

Blinding Radiance – This ability strikes enemies that are close enough.

PSE Cannon – This requires careful management of heat levels, with a system that includes overheating and underheating. It fires more effectively when maintained within optimal heat levels.

Tokamak has interesting mechanics, especially with the heat management for his attacks. However, he lacks animations for walking and other actions.

yakuza

Yakuza has an early developed character model with minimum details included but kind of looks like a hitman to me. However you can still explore some of his abilities:

Shakedown – This ability allows you to throw it at an enemy, but be careful, as it can hit you if you're too close.

Hired Muscle – This ability summons an extra helper that can assist you in battle. You can target either yourself or a teammate, making it a strategic option.

Protection Racket – This seems to provide healing, offering support during fights.

Setting Sun – This ability delivers a powerful blast downwards, dealing significant damage.

Wrecker, a well-developed hero compared to many others. He features a complete model and default builds in the store, although he isn’t officially released yet. Here are his abilities:

Wrecking Ball – This ability creates a large ball of scrap that can be thrown, damaging and stunning anything it hits. Carrying the ball slows you down, and it takes time to create.

Consume – This ability allows you to stun an enemy trooper or NPC while damaging them. Successfully defeating an enemy grants a fire rate bonus and restores a bio blast charge, with the bonus stacking independently.

Bio Blast – This ability shoots out a blast of consumed remains, damaging and slowing enemies. Multiple hits increase the slow effect.

Launch – This ability sends out a flying shadow copy of yourself that you control, teleporting your original body to wherever it lands. The teleport explosion deals damage and slows enemies, depending on how long you were airborne.

Wrecker shows great potential with dynamic abilities, making him a compelling choice among other unreleased heroes provided in the guide.
