Introduction and spoiler warning.
This is a very brief guide to help point you towards getting that last hidden aberration at the very end of your encyclopedia. I should also note that this last fish doesn't appear in the base game and you will need the iron rig DLC installed to discover it.

SPOILER WARNING: If you don't want to see this fish and discover it on your own turn back now. There will also be story spoilers too since this aberration can only be caught at the very end of the iron rig storyline.
Loadout, items and fishing location.
Firstly, to get on your way to obtaining this secret last fish, you will have to finish the entire iron rig storyline, you don't have to fully upgrade all the rig buildings (though it is recommended) but you will need to deliver all fish samples to the scientist in order for the hidden aberration to spawn.

Secondly, you WILL need some of the new aberration bait included in the DLC, to get some simply progress the iron rig storyline until you need to power the rigs bio generator. Once powered up, you'll receive some aberrated bait from the foreman, DO NOT USE IT AND SAVE IT FOR LATER. Should you find yourself already using the free bait early on, you will have to begin the lengthy process of upgrading the factory building to level four, then you can simply craft some more bait from there if needed.

Thirdly, now with your bait in hand I would strongly recommend you edit your boat's loadout so you can only catch fish under the oceanic type, this will slightly increase your odds of catching the rare aberration, I'll show my boat's loadout below as an example.

Fourthly, to my knowledge there is only ONE spot you can use to catch this fish and it happens to be right under the iron rig itself. To be safe, go directly underneath the rig platform (the spot in the middle of the four supporting pillars). I'll provide an example again below.

Catching the final aberration.
Before going to fish, stop by the rigs dock so the game autosaves there and then you can continue ahead.

Simply put, all you have to do is use the aberrated bait below the rig and hope it spawns from it when you go to fish on the baited area, pretty simple right? Though the spawn rate is very low, this is why I recommended having a loadout where you can only catch oceanic types of fish since other types can spawn in this area and lower the odds of you getting the aberration you want. Should you not get the aberration to spawn, you will either need to reload an earlier save by quitting to the main menu and reloading your last autosave at the dock or obtain more bait from crafting (I'd recommend reloading saves since the bait isn't too cheap to craft).

Whichever option you take, after a good number of tries you'll eventually catch that last aberration named "???" and complete your encyclopedia once and for all.

Final notes.
Interestingly though, if you have maxed madness/insanity the name of "???" will change to "Deep Form" and it's own description will change alongside, possibly giving more info or lore on this strange creature.

Normal sanity:

Maxed insanity:

Thank you.
Thank you for reading through all of this guide and apologies if it isn't too clear or helpful, this is my first one after all so it may be a bit of a mess but I do hope it helped you out in one way or other!

MASSIVE SPOILER AHEAD: there's honestly nothing too mysterious about it, he's the aberrated form of the rig scientist. As you give him more fish, you can see he mutates as he presumably experiments with them and/or does some ritualistic shit. that's the reason it only spawns after you've given him all the fish, and you see a cutscene where he mutates and jumps through a window into the deep.

You know, they (The black salt games team) should add a use for this fish. Like bring it to the lighthouse keeper to start a new journey and go to an area called the depths using a whirlpool or something crazy like that in a future DLC. This could be most likely a small DLC like the Blackstone key, just adding one item/mission. But still, this would be so cool for the story-line of the iron rig. I really hope this feature gets added!

I got this immediately after using the bait under the rig and using atrophy on the fishing spot. I'm not sure if this'll happen every time, but this was after about an hour of fishing and reloading

Something I noticed about that "fish": when you have it on your boat, you can hear very faint breathing right in your ears...

It might be even more difficult outside of the rig area but I managed to find it with bait near Little Marrow for a second time while trying to fill out my book.

@SeñoritaSombrero It can't be found anywhere else on the map, you HAVE to fish for it under the iron rig, or possibly just next to it too
