Young money, Cash money (How to get easy scrap)

Easy step-by-step guide how to get easy dosh early on.

Quick steps

Note: this guide is outdated

• Gather Broken weapon parts (weapons melee and ranged, explosives)
  
• Talk to the ranger citadel vendor (you need to get inside which requires you to go through ag center or highpool questline)
  
• Sell all your broken weapon parts to him for a huge loads of Do$h (1:15 ratio)

Step-by-step

WARNING! This will only work when you can enter the Ranger Citadel which requires you to finish the AG Center or Highpool questline (2nd area which you most likely will visit) and will only work for Sergeant Tobias Melson (others give less money for your junk)

Step 1: locate a place where to farm some weapons or if possible, advance in the game to get easy weapon drops from enemies

I recommend this area because the mobs have 11 health and you can kill them with a single shot with almost any weapon!

Step 2:
I recommend pressing the "Attack" button. It'll let you fight some easy to kill raiders and loot their arses and earn cheap 15 experience from each mob (3-5 mobs per encounter)

Also if you get the animal encounter, just evade it because animals won't be using weapons which you can exchange for cash

Step 3
Find weapons such like this pistol here, it'll earn you $$$

Step 4 Scrap it!


There is always a chance to get "useful" items from the scrapping. You can mod your weapons with them or just sell for a small amount of cash (except on explosives)

Give the weapons to your weaponsmith (It is a skill and minimium of one point is mandatory to be able to scrap stuff)
Rightclick the weapon which you just gave in their inventory
Press the scrap for parts
Press yes
???
Profit

Step 5
When you have enough Broken Weapon parts go to the Ranger Citadel

Step 6 (not mandatory) Purchase some dynamite from Cpl. Solveig Sefors (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

Bonus: He'll refresh his stock in a certain amount of time when you are away from the area!

Step 7
Visit the vendor Sergeant Tobias Melson
also talk his dialogs through (if you haven't) so you will be able to exchange broken weapon parts for do$h

Step 8
CASH IN


The ratio is huge fifteen scrap for one broken weapon part!

Remember to also sell junk and other stuff which you don't need!

Also if you choose to save High Pool, it will also earn you a large amount of scrap more than the AG center
